Delicious! Tender and simple but so full of flavor! Bf and I got the teriyaki tritip and Teriyaki chicken bowls and they're both absolutely delectable! The mushroom rice is so soft and compliments the dish perfectly! Just what we needed after a long con day! I hope to see you guys at foodie fest in Vegas someday!

Don't sleep on it! Traditional tri tip is the best!

I just had the pleasure to try this food truck and it is delicious!!! I ordered the Traditional tri-tip plate with Teriyaki sauce on the side and the meat is perfect, the mushroom rice heavenly and the vegetables grilled to perfection - best of all is the customer service. We were offered to taste test as soon as we got to the truck. Thank you Ms. Elizabeth and team!!! Please come back soon!

Updated review, this place is the best. I do not care to drive where they are located, I do not care to wait for freshly made food, to Jeff M. And Alyson S. if you want fast food hire Macdonald's or go to Burger King, get it in your head don't want to wait for healthy food go to a fast food place.

We were lucky enough to try out this food truck at the local Fresco Market and the quality and amount of food were excellent for the price! We ordered the teriyaki tri tip and it was so soft and tender that we couldn't believe it came from a food truck. If you see this truck around, be sure to give it a try.

We hadn't visited since February, 2020. Before the pandemic might as well have been 10 years ago, if the world shut down 6 years ago. We were overdue for a followup visit. Judging by how the food went down, we were sore for it. We ordered the Big Tex: four meats and four sides - tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and links; kale greens, bbq beans, mac and cheese and fries. We opted for the cornbread in the roll slot. It should be the top meats in your order, by premium scale and availability, but more often than they should be, the brisket/tri-tip selections are, 90%, obligatory orders. I think I have a love/hate relationship with the way LA treats the pepperoni pizza of bbq meats. Swinging Door broke us off proper though. Not too fatty. Great tenderism. And the accompanying sauce complemented the smoked all stars, rather than compensated for lack of flavor. Didn't stop me from loving their Whiskey bbq sauce though. The beans were a true bbq side, swimming in a mild sauce and containing lovely chunks of link. And the kale greens - sheesh - I think they might've switched to kale since our first visit. An effective exercise in alternative ruffage that holds seasoning and jucies for a similar bbq/soulfoud bite. We live further away now. Took the food to go, to prevent the intermittent rain from foiling more of our plans. It traveled well. And since I'm using our leftover bbq sauce on every other meal I cook, I'd say we successfully made do with our lunch substitute.

(At a rib joint, the nerve) but it wasn't my plate so oh well. First note this is a pick up spot only there is an ordering counter that no more than 4 people can be in at a time. The street is super dark and desolate looking it feels like an industrial area think City of Industry. There's no parking well there's one spot to park for pick up. The street parking is filled with what looked like broken down type cars the four I seen had chalk writing like tow yards do. To the food!!! Ordered 2 two meat meals that come with 2 sides. Not a piece of bread or muffin was included. Please notice the dry @$$ pulled pork? and I got 4 pieces of a rib tip that was the same as 1 maybe 2 real tips ANYWHERE else.the tips were chopped into 2-4 pieces from one full tip. So I really feel cheated and I was frigging hungry -hungry. The pork was dry and couldn't be swallowed without the bbq sauce and drink. She ordered a hot link with ribs and added a side of ribs for an additional $24. The sides came in a small container I had Mac n cheese and greens which every bite I was like wish I had cornbread to add to these greens. While she had greens and the sweet potato (which by the way was the best thing they had going on) the Mac was average I'm about to reheat and toast again before I hit send for this review. Reheated the side of ribs, greens and Mac and it's a bit better than the pulled pork, but this definitely isn't a bbq spot I'd advise anyone to go to nor would I dare try without bbq sauce and a lot of it. Dessert banana pudding last time I was here the desserts were pretty good. This tasted like the yoplait whips yogurts consistency and like knock of Nila wafers I was just sooo utterly disappointed.

We placed a large pickup order for our Fourth of July gathering, and unfortunately, the quality just wasn't there this time. The ribs and brisket were both very dry and overcooked, which was especially disappointing since those are usually our favorites. We also requested au jus with our order, but it wasn't included. I understand it was an incredibly busy holiday, and I know the staff was probably doing their best to keep up with the volume. Still, when you're spending a good amount of money on barbecue for a big party, you expect the food to be cooked well and the order to be complete. This time, it just wasn't worth the price. The one bright spot was the sides. They're always delicious, fresh, and consistent, and they didn't disappoint this time either. I'm hoping this was just an off day because we've had good experiences here in the past. We'd definitely like to see the quality return to what we know they're capable of.

The friendly duo of ladies (I'm assuming they were the titular Nia & Jags) greeted me with smiles and friendly conversation, and quickly served up the sample I was meant to get as part of my package "Passport Deal." This was a small bite of Cuban pulled pork on a bed of pita chips. The pork was tender and very juicy without being fatty at all. Yes, the meat was juicy and lean, so these folks must be doing something right in the kitchen. The flavor itself was distinctly Cuban, with Caribbean spices and a bright, citrusy burst that provided a welcome contrast to the rest of the American-style smoked meats at the festival. The pita chips, while not homemade, also provided a welcome change from the standard breads and tortillas served at the other booths. Though I didn't get to sample the rest of their wares, now that I'm well-aware of their names, I'll be looking for Nia & Jags at other events so I can taste what else they're cooking up... I'm gonna go ahead and assume it'll be just as good. I mean, juicy AND lean? That ain't easy!
