I ended up in this area and Yelped myself a great BBQ spot. The place is small, with only 3 tables for dining in, the order counter and a semi-open kitchen. But I must say, they make a heck of a bbq! I ordered the tri tip/beef rib combo that came with mac and cheese and coleslaw. While tri tip was just alright, the beef ribs were simply phenomenal. Cooked to perfection and soaked in their smoky bbq sauce, each bite was tender and juicy on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. You could truly taste the depth of the beef flavor notes all through out each bite. It was a perfect portion too- just enough without overeating, for a grown adult male as myself. This place has great cornbread! Crispy, sweet, and buttery! A delicious accompaniment to the savory meat.We also ordered the tri tip sandwich and tri tip plate. We chose fries and Mac N cheese as our sides. Everything was solid. The tri tip was well marinated. Very flavorful! You can choose between spicy or mild barbecue sauce. There are only two tables inside, so expect to takeout unless you get lucky. They have the menu up on the wall, and there are great selections, a variety but not too much as to where you would be concerned with freshness. I love that this is a local spot and the staff were friendly. It's a pretty small restaurant so seating is limited. What I did like was that they had beef and pork ribs (beef is hard to come by at their price point) to choose from along with sandwiches (ie a Philly cheese steak, BBQ sandwiches, etc) and, what I really enjoyed, the bbq chicken. The prices here are pretty reasonable so that's a good thing but unfortunately they do not have combo plates short of doing a large order to feed a family of four or more. It would be nice to have 2 or 3 meat combo plates on the menu to mix and match things but unfortunately you have to buy the entire meals to try different items on their menu. The sides in my opinion need some work (I tried mac n cheese, Collard Greens and fries) so I know what not to order next time. Aside from that, the bbq was alright (it's hard to come across amazing BBQ restaurants in the LA area in my opinion) and I would go back if I was in the mood for bbq chicken, ribs or wanted to give their philly a try. read more

This establishment was highly recommended to me. I ordered the 6 piece St Louis BBQ spareribs DELICIOUS as I ate the rib the meat fell off the bone. The baked beans, cornbread were also delicious. Great tasting ribs and sauce, and the cornbread and chili were decent. The greens on the other hand, not so much. Like "from a can" in her own words. This place is legit! We had some meetings going on at work so we decided to place a order for everyone in our meeting. I decided to try their steak sandwich. We called our order in ahead of time (10 entrees). They answered the phone quickly and provided us with an ETA. Upon arrival there were clear signs showing how they are handling covid and that masks are required. Our order was ready when we arrived. The cashier was nice and gave us a quick breakdown of what entree was in each bag (total of 4 bags). We were in and out in 5 minutes. The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection. The Ribs were hecka meaty! The Tri Tip was a little disappointing. I was hoping for long slices. These looked like 1inch pieces that needed to be more smokey. The pork ribs are fall off the bone good, not smokey. Grilled to perfection and the sauce is good. I like spice so I just add hot sauce .

9/21/23 Ordered pork ribs half slab...the ribs amounted to TWO (2) normal size rib bones. The longest rib bone was the length of my middle finger (including the gristle). The shortest rib bone was the size of my baby finger (including the gristle). I've eaten ribs for over 60 years and NEVER have received a rib order that had cut the bones into thirds or quarters. read more

After searching for BBQ places that deliver to my address, I finally found this place after 2 days. Can't understand why it did't show up before. Anyway, review time. I have walked into other BBQ places and when I think of BBQ, this place does it for me. Don't get me wrong, there are other great places as well but this place is right up there. I got BBQ beef ribs because I was getting in too much pork and wanted something different. They provided a whole slab and I gotta say, my eyes opened wide when I saw the portion and size. The taste was out of this world! I loved how it tasted and couldn't get enough. The meat was cooked to perfection and the it was very saucy. It you don't get sauce all over you face while eating it, you are probably doing something wrong. These ribs were meant for us to dig in and get dirty while enjoying every bite! The tri tip without sauce (on the side) was also for my kid as he doesn't like foods with sauce. It was cut in perfect bit size portions . It was cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. I tried it with the sauce and the flavor just burs ted out more. Kids gotta learn how to eat BBQ sauce... I also got chicken wings without the sauce ( well on the side ) as my kid doesn't like the buffalo sauce. I had the wings and it could be a little crunchier. It felt like it was too soft and tasted more breadiy. It was good but I would probably stay with the BBQ items instead. French fries were french fried. Fried nicely and well. I am not a big fan of cornbread but this was one awesome cornbread. I cant believe I ate it and loved it. The cornbread was soft and melted in your mouth. Very minimal chewing was needed. It had a nice corn flavor and not very sweet. Side Mac n Cheese was ok. It wasn't anything special. I wasn't a big fan of it . The cheese was like melted nacho cheese and just boiled elbow macaroni. If i had just got the ribs I would have given this place a 5 but the wings didn't work for me nor did the mac n cheese. Will I order again? YES! Today 11/25 was my first time going to this restaurant, and the food was amazing! The plate was about $21 and truly worth it. I spit the plate with my boyfriend, and we still had a lot of briskets leftover; the Mac & Cheese, chili beans, and collard Greens were flavorful.
