A nice bar and restaurant. They have a pool table right when you walk in as well as a dart board. Small area where both the table and board is but it does stay utilized. Most of the times I've been it's always where everyone congregate at. Like the main hub. Bar area is decent size. They have a section where it's like a restaurant and where most of the people would use when there's a big group. Also good for when they have sports on. Outside patio is decent size with a good amount of seating. There's also a television on the patio. So wherever you are, you'll have some kind sports on. It's a neighborhood bar and restaurant which seems to tends to the locals. Everyone seems to know each other. Bartender is alway lovely and sweet. Food wise, we mainly stick to the fires and onion rings. Once in a while a meal. But majority of time is stopping by for a drink or two and winding down. The crowds have alway been pretty cool. People there hanging out, playing pool and darts. Chill place thats good for a drink or two.

I would pass by this place so many times over the years as I'd go to the Van Nuys golf course driving range and it never crossed my mind to stop by to get a meal here until my friend took me here to have lunch last week. One thing is for certain, it's a no frills type of place that's dedicated to providing a laid back atmosphere for watching sports and having a meal and there's a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from if you're looking to having drinks with your meal or just want to sit at the bar and have drinks while watching the game. My friend ordered the Springbok Burger which, according to him, is what he always get when he dines here. I opted to get the grilled pastrami sandwich which was delicious! I would have liked to have gotten the sandwich with a beer and I think it would have been a great pairing but since I was going to be driving back to Hollywood in rush hour traffic, I decided to hold off. Next time I'll come to get a meal and drink before hitting up the driving range. Anyway, when you come here, make sure you've got a big appetite and a lot of space in your stomach because they don't skimp on the portions!

My bf and I love coming here for a cold beer (get the Franziskaner) and Jefferson's Philly cheese steak. Love the back patio. Lots of room, chill crowd, awesome service!

As a runner, that was such a fun and personal touch. From the run to the party, everything was perfect. Thanks to my sister and man for celebrating me like this! Afterward, we headed to Best Ball where we ate, drank, laughed, and spent a couple of hours having a great time. The food was really good, the drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere was fun without feeling overcrowded. There's a full bar and a large restaurant area with plenty of seating, so it was easy for everyone to hang out together. The service here is amazing they took care of us and we had a DJ and a photo booth outside to make it more festive! The babe even brought the cake over the day before and they were so great at keeping it. Whether you're there to golf, celebrate, or just spend time with friends, this place is a great spot. My favorite people, lots of laughs, good food, and a surprise birthday I'll never forget. What more could I ask for? We run here in the dark, daytime and evenings and pass this restaurant all the time we will be coming here more often. Lots of parking out in the front. The golfers are all friendly as well. They're all here for the same reason. They use to have trivia night but I'm not sure if that still exists. Regardless, it's alway a great place. I had the pleasure of watching the USA vs. Australia match there yesterday, and wow... what an unforgettable experience. The place was absolutely packed with passionate fans. Every table had American flags, and the energy was electric from kickoff to the final whistle. When Team USA scored, something incredible happened. The roar that erupted throughout the restaurant was so powerful it literally made everyone jump to their feet. You didn't have a choice--it was pure emotion. It reminded me of the kind of celebration you'd experience if you were sitting courtside when the Knicks clinched a championship. The sound, the excitement, and the unity of everyone chanting "USA! USA! USA!" gave me goosebumps. It was one of the most compelling sports moments I've ever experienced. I've watched the Dodgers clinch the World Series there, and that celebration was amazing, but this was something different. The passion of soccer fans created an atmosphere I'll never forget. And let's talk about the people who make Game Changer so special. Anthony, Tatum, Rio, Hailey, Chloe, Mattel, Bilal, Alisia, Weggins, and the entire staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is second to none. If you haven't experienced Game Changer Brewhouse yet, you're missing out. There were two of us, but we ordered 4 entrees, a margarita, two shots of don julio tequila, and soft drinks. Towards the end of the show, (it wasn't even over yet and everyone else was still at their tables watching), the owner came up to our table with the most hostile attitude completely out of nowhere telling us we need to leave. Everything up to that point had been absolutely fine- we had good interactions with all the staff, we loved our waitress, and there were no issues whatsoever, so we were completely caught off guard and shocked by this. Mind you, not one person had ever come up to us with the bill or asking if we were ready for the check. I told him that, and he was being completely dismissive, not even looking me in the eye and literally shooing us out with his hand gestures. I told him that we had ordered a lot and they would be missing out on our bill, and he said "just go and don't come back". The only reason I can think of him doing this is because there were a bunch of people waiting for tables, and they probably had too many reservations booked that they couldn't seat on time due to their own negligence and poor management. I have never left a restaurant without paying the bill and tipping at least 20%. Moreover, I have never had any issues in general or been kicked out from any business before in my life. I went to the hostess stand to ask for my waitress so I could tip her, and the owner came up to me and told me I need to leave again. Thankfully I found the waitress on my way out and was able to give her some cash before leaving, as I would have felt so bad if she didn't get anything. The man in the video is the owner who kicked us out. This was the craziest experience I've ever had dining out and I will absolutely not be coming back.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday for a quick drink before a movie, and the "vibe" was non-existent. They have four TVs at the bar, but the setup was bizarre, two were completely off and another was just frozen on a directory logo. The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness--or lack thereof. The place is incredibly dirty. It feels like it hasn't had a deep clean in weeks, maybe longer. The bar top was disgusting, the floors were grimy, and even the woodwork looked like it hadn't seen a rag since opening day. They are charging $17 for "signature cocktails," which is bold for a spot that feels like a neglected dive bar. If you're going to charge premium prices, you have to at least wipe down the countertops. Service-wise, the bartender was friendly enough but low energy and minimal level of service. To make matters worse, a shift change happened while we were there, and the departing bartender made us close out our check and start a brand-new one with the next person. Why should the staff's administrative hand-off be the customer's issue? It's just unprofessional. There's music that's lively without being overbearing, and the staff is uniformly friendly. But... You have to order at the bar and, though they have runners to bring your food, you do have to hunt them down for anything after the delivery (extra ketchup, etc). While this isn't my favorite system at my age, to be fair, whatever the owners are saving on staff is reflected in the prices, which are absolutely below most places in the area for food that is good-quality and drinks that are generously poured. So yes, my wife's Espresso Martini was served in a deep-bellied Belgium beer glass, and my whiskey neat was a hefty pour. Yay!! For food, I ordered the Smash Burger, which is served with melted American, grilled onions and the house version of Russian dressing (as well as pickles, which I deleted). The burgers had a nice, smashed crust while remaining juicy, the cheese was properly melted, and the grilled onions had a terrific caramelized sweetness, while the house sauce was very well-balanced: ketchupy and creamy without being too mayonnaise-heavy. A very good smasher. My wife ordered the Big Texan Burger because she wanted cheddar and frizzled onions and BBQ sauce, though she deleted the bacon and pork belly that are normally included. This, too, was a very good burger: cooked to a proper and pleasing medium-rare and well-seasoned, with a good, fresh flavor to the beef. The onion rings were less successful, which are of the beer batter type, but seemed to be a commercial, frozen product. The coating was browned but not crisp, and the flavor was relatively nondescript. We didn't really eat them, and wouldn't order them again. And so, to me, The Tipsy Cow is a bit of a mixed bag: reasonably priced decent food and reasonably priced, generously-poured drinks -- but in a mostly self-serve environment that incrementally loses its appeal in relation to your age and your dining circumstances. Certainly worth a try, but you've gotta be in the right mood.
