I was pleasantly surprised that they have not followed the other establishments I frequent with super high prices! Came here on a Sunday afternoon, we actually found parking on the main street right outside, but from reading other reviews it looks like there is also an option to park in the back. The place was empty at first and my friend an I got into deep conversation and we enjoyed some drinks from the friendly waitress. Before we knew it, a crowd started coming in and the place actually got pretty packed which they said usually Sunday is less crowded. There are lots of TVs hung up and everyone was watching basketball, one TV had the Dodgers, and one TV had an AKC dog show on where the dogs had to run and jump and grab something before jumping into the pool. Our whole side of the bar totally got into this AKC dog show hahaha. So before we new it, we were making new friends and cheering on the dogs. My friend and I weren't planning on drinking beer, but when we ordered the vodka with soda water drinks, we noticed the soda water was pretty flat so the drinks didn't taste so great, so we switched over to beer. I felt there was not much of a variety of beer to choose from, but I like Modelo so we went with the Modelo pitcher to share between us and it did hit the spot. We also decided to order the cheese fries from the menu, and the portion was generous with almost all the fries having a bit of cheese on them so it was perfect. I saw some other people get other dishes which actually looked really good, so if you're hungry, there are plenty of options to choose from! Everyone we met was super friendly and down to earth, which is important because at some of the other bars I've visited the crowds are not as friendly. This seems like a bar where if you go often enough everyone will know your name. I also always think about that as a female, could I go to this bar alone and feel comfortable alone? My favorite dive bar in the valley and the food is good too. I come at least once a week to get out for a drink and some good wings. Bartenders are dope but Vanessa and Tony are my people. I come during the week because the weekends get a little too crowded for me but I'm 41 so keep that in mind, for the younger crowd you'll love it. They have a pool table and on certain nights they have pool leagues. The crowd is always diverse but it's a bar so everyone is chill, just having a drink and mingling. Came here on a Thursday evening with a friend. Love that they offer parking in the back, alley is the entrance way to it. Also, plenty of street parking around. There is an awesome jukebox which you can also download the app and use your phone to purchase and play music. They have one pool table and it accepts credit/debit cards to purchase a game. They do have plenty of seats, if you enter through the back, you will see they have a room with tables and seats, and once you enter into the bar, there are plenty more inside. So, a good spot to come watch games, football, etc. Bartenders were ok, served us our beer right away and they work quick. As for the food, I did not get a chance to try it out this time around. I think the best part of this visit for me, was the diverse music coming from the jukebox! Restroom was clean as well and gender-based. This is more of a vibe to come and chill for a few drinks, play pool or watch your sports here and wind down. Three stars for me as their beer selection did not include my favs such as blue moon, or local brewery flavors. Which is why I ordered mango cart from golden road. From the moment I walked in on a Sunday there was lots of energy and not many seats open eventually we found a table and ordered some beers they have a great selection including Golden Road, 805 and others. The bar food I would label in the gourmet bar food department with battered mozzarella sticks and other great options like blt (albeit not enough bacon).
