When we walked in, we had our ID checked by the security that was sitting in the front. I was feeling a little sick so I asked the barmen if it was possible for him to make hot toddy he definitely made it happen and it tasted pretty good. The atmosphere is very relaxed. They have a few games , pool table and karaoke nights. additional games available in the back almost like a private back patio.! They also have food pop-ups and we were told that their pizza pop-up is delicious so we will definitely come back to try it out

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday for a quick drink before a movie, and the "vibe" was non-existent. They have four TVs at the bar, but the setup was bizarre, two were completely off and another was just frozen on a directory logo. The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness--or lack thereof. The place is incredibly dirty. It feels like it hasn't had a deep clean in weeks, maybe longer. The bar top was disgusting, the floors were grimy, and even the woodwork looked like it hadn't seen a rag since opening day. They are charging $17 for "signature cocktails," which is bold for a spot that feels like a neglected dive bar. If you're going to charge premium prices, you have to at least wipe down the countertops. Service-wise, the bartender was friendly enough but low energy and minimal level of service. To make matters worse, a shift change happened while we were there, and the departing bartender made us close out our check and start a brand-new one with the next person. Why should the staff's administrative hand-off be the customer's issue? It's just unprofessional. The Valley has so many actual dive bars with character and plenty of high-end spots for a great cocktail; I'm not sure where this place is trying to fit in. It feels like someone bought it and just stopped caring. We won't be back.

This time was at the relaxing back patio upstairs. They have a big menu with a lot of good items. We decided on vodka pasta, charred octopus and beet salad as appetizers. For mains we had chef's special prime rib and whole branzino, also truffle fries as side. For desserts we had tiramisu and sorbet. They make very good Vesper martinis here, the mocktail I tried wasn't great though. The service was excellent and very fast. Keep in mind that the food is more of Middle East Mediterranean flavor than Mediterranean European flavor. This place has become our go-to restaurant whenever we are in this area!

The music was subpar...and as if they were very proud of their below average musicianship, LOUD. I mean, tell it on the mountaintop loud. On top of that, even using your outside voice wasn't enough to carry on a conversation. We were getting hoarse yelling at each other, even for the short time we were there. Can't talk about the food because we left after a few minutes of enduring the ear torture. But I think for folks who want to feel trendy and seen and be in a "lively" place, it's fine.

It's become so much more than just one of our favorite bars and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The biggest reason, though, is the people. Hospitality is something that's hard to fake, and the team here does it effortlessly. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted like an old friend. Over the years, the staff has created an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal, and that's something that's become increasingly rare. Matt, Sabrina, and the entire team are all such gems. Scott also deserves special recognition. He's a huge part of what makes The Rendition Room such a special place. Whether he's introducing a new cocktail, sharing the story behind a spirit, or simply taking the time to check in, his passion and care for every guest shine through. It's people like Scott who transform a great bar into a place you truly feel connected to. On our most recent visit, we tried the new Decade & Debauchery cocktail, celebrating The Rendition Room's 10 year anniversary, and it's phenomenal. Balanced, and beautifully executed. In a city full of great bars, they have managed to create something much harder to find, a sense of community. After all these years, it still feels just as special as the first time we walked in.

This isn't about AI ethics or its impact on creative jobs. It's that The Matrix is fundamentally about humanity resisting machines and corporate control. Using AI to promote the experience makes the film's themes feel a bit superficial, since it seems to contradict the message the story was trying to convey. I "spoke" to the Trinity bot on the website who said: "Artist are vital to our cause, but in the world where perception can be manipulated we must leverage every tool." I am leaving five stars since I personally use AI sometimes and am not trying to complain, and hope to come back and visit soon. I guess basically I'm just saying that some of my friends do find it to be a dealbreaker and will not support businesses that use these types of generative tools created by mega corporations.
