Solid hangout. Only concern is the neighborhood. Parking is tough. Some spots are VERY tight and others are pretty standard. It's next to a gym, so there's a lot of traffic here. Plan to get here maybe 5 min earlier than planned because it'll take some time to find parking. After parking, the experience goes uphill. There are lots of tables available with plenty of space in between. I mean, you'll need common etiquette, but besides that, there are lots of tables for you to choose from. The employees are very nice about setting you up and lighting up the table that you want. They are very accommodating and flexible. There are leagues here as well if you think about making a commitment. Cost seemed appropriate for the quality of the equipment. It was about $20 an hour for a party of 2. So if you split it with a friend, that's about $20 for 2 hours of playtime. The table I used and the spare sticks available seemed to be in good condition. They also serve beer and have sports games along the edges of the shop. There are also stools and small tables available. If you feel like taking a break or not even playing pool at all, it seems like a good place to hang, catch up or watch some sports. read more

Plush Pocket - Inside - Pool Halls Near Me - Northridge, California

I've been going here for years. The service is good plus they fix the tips of my pool stick. The vibe is chill. They have a jukebox but I think they need to update the playlist. All in all, always have a great time there. read more

This is my Saturday afternoon place to relax. Nice tables, decent house cues, and good music to listen to. Steve and Mia are welcoming. People that come here are friendly. If you have questions about the game, they will help you out. It's like Cheers where everybody knows your name. The only problem is the women's bathroom is shared with men. Some men can't read the sign in the bathroom saying to be courteous and put the seat back down. Other than that, this is a wonderful way to de-stress and enjoy day. read more

Came here with a friend last Sunday and upon entering noticed immediately how many pool tables there are. There is a bar to the right where you can order beers or light drinks and then they light up the table that you will play on. The pool hall is dark like a bar, but there is plenty of nice lighting above each pool table. A tournament was going on at the same time we were there so it was fun to watch the pros. I am terrible at pool but this didn't stop me, my friend and I had tons of fun and at the end when we paid the prices were reasonable. Definitely will be coming back! read more

Service was horrible guy at the bar working tonight was extremely rude paid no attention when we had questions. Ended up leaving. Not sure why a business would turn down anyone trying to give them money. read more

Smells bad, no ventilation and the clocks on the wall and their computer system are different times so they can charge you more. It's always a different price every time you go so be careful or set a timer to make sure they aren't scamming you. They'll act like the don't know that their clocks are wrong but they're aware. read more

It's a good place but overcrowded and the AC doesn't work but overall I like the vibes and I'll probably be back. Hopefully they will fix the AC problem. read more

RIP OFF billiards place. Me and my boy got a pitcher of beer and played for an hour then they charged me $50. There are plenty of dive bars who would've charged me less than $25 for the same thing. LOL DONT GO HERE PLEASE read more

My wife and I came on a Saturday around 6pm and got a pool table right away. The vibe was relaxed, other players were respectful, and it was a great spot for us to enjoy some quality time and try out our new cue sticks. We each had a 22 ounce Modelo on draft, and they also offer 16 ounce pours. The prices are fair because the tables are well cared for, the space is clean, and it feels open and comfortable. We will be back for sure! read more

Best pool hall in the valley hands down. Professional tables and drinks are available. Staff is very friendly. Always have fun coming here with my gf. read more

First time here! This place started off really awesome. Great atmosphere. As the night got later and the bar tender switched to a male with a mustache, it became really sketchy. My party was charged 3 different prices for the exact same beer order, which we didn't catch immediately, then all of a sudden we were told there was a fee for using our debit card, which we also were not charged consistently or told about until we were on our 4th consistent beer order. Then at the end of the night, the man told us it was over $100, for pool alone, for 2 people and 3 hours. Who knows if this price was accurate. Prices are not posted anywhere, so go-ers beware to ask pricing upfront and ensure consistency with charges throughout your night. Seems like dealers choice. Frustrating because we would have loved to frequent this place on a more regular basis. read more

Nice and friendly place to enjoy with friends and family. The waitress' smile just beams. Spacious dining area and a full bar complement the atmosphere. Tables are impeccably clean (that means both billiards and dining tables) and that's also why customers are happy. This venue is different from other billiards and pool rooms because of its large size and high ceilings. Ambient lighting is well arranged and music is not too loud. Last but not least is the huge parking lot with plenty of spaces for all, including the disabled people, so you can bring your entire family with your veteran grandparents and have a great time. read more

No! No! No! They charge by the person!! $29 per hour for "4" people! Dave & Busters is $12 per hour, no limit on how many people at the table! And they are located in the same city (Northridge). Do NOT waste your money here...go to Dave & Busters for better quality tables and way less money! read more

I would put zero stars if I can they stopped our music with 15 mins still left till closing time

Clean tables and professional staff. Good music and helpful staff always good times when we go.

Awful service, workers rushing you to leave even 30 minutes before closing. Been couple times and the bartender (hispanic guy with mustache) charging us wrong amounts every single time, making up prices on purpose and tries to play dumb. Can't recommend this place at all, and i'm not even the type of person to leave a review . read more

This place is awesome. Great service. Diamond Tables and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg per hour on the tables like it does at some places in LA that I wont mention. Food and Beer available at the counter as well. Clean, comfortably crowded scene. Big Screens on all walls for sports. sufficient number of 9 ft tables.

I've been here a few times to shoot some pool with my buddies and I have to say that it feels like a hidden gem. The tables are good quality, with good cloth and bumpers. There's usually a few regulars there playing and chatting with the staff. The place has a down-to-earth, dive bar feel but in all the good ways. Definitely give this place a visit if you're looking for a good place to play. read more

Great place to go play pool. I like that their is many tables to play in usually bars have like 1-2 and here you can come with a group of friends and usually there's tables available, chill Crowd comes here mixed ages. Good place read more

The best pool room in SFV - the tables are great - the staff is cheerful - a lot of good pool players come for the competition.

Chill pool hall with over a dozen tables, about 4 small & the rest regular size. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking. I started going here a couple years ago before the forced shut down and have been back many times. I missed it. I usually get there before 8 to avoid crowds. It's a good place if you enjoy playing and maybe having a beer, but not a trendy spot where there's lots of people that just go to drink and hangout. It's very basic & minimal. They have lockers available & also pool sticks for sale. No food. I really like this place. The staff is nice and professional. They have a couple restrooms in the back, some TVs around and decent variety of cold beers and other sodas and drinks in the fridge. What more do you need? read more

This is my favorite place to play pool. It doesn't look like a great place from outside but it's a good pool hall. Prices are right compared to other pool halls I have played at. This place is run very poorly, if your a regular you get to bring in food and not pay to play but if your just out to shoot a game of pool they charge almost $17 an hour per person. Last time I visit this place, plenty more honest places to go. read more

I just realized I've now been coming here for over 15 years. Have I gotten any better in the last 15+ years? Nah, not really. But then again, I just come here for fun and or to relieve stress from work. It is still the best Pool Hall in the San Fernando Valley and if you come here often enough, you'll make friends that can lead to them being like family! This is one of the few places that actually regularly maintain their tables and clean it daily, if not every time they someone finished playing (if they have the staff to do so). Pricing wise, it's a bit more expensive than what I would like it to be but if it means giving this place business and they end up sticking around, I think it's worth the little extra. Whether you are a beginner and or just want to have fun with friends or you are a seasoned player, this is a great place to hang out. I will, however, request that if you come here in a large group, please be respectful of those players around you. If you want to come practice or you like to play without feeling like you have to be aware of others around you, I suggest coming from Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday, there seems to be more people so it is lively but if you're trying to seriously play, it can be a bit distracting. If you ever are looking for someone to shoot with, feel free to message me here. If my schedule allows, I will always be down to play. 8 ball, 9 ball, no problem. I've never bothered to learn one pocket, which seems to be the game of choice among regulars there but I do enjoy straight. read more

I had a fantastic experience, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean, the bar is well stocked, and the music is great (slow rock and oldies). The people are also amazing, definitely recommend going here to meet people. All the materials are well maintained and taken care of. read more

I've been coming to Plush Pocket for a few years now and it's a pretty good pool hall compared to some others I've experienced. They've got about 20 tables of all sizes of length and pockets. League is out of there multiple times a week as well, but more than have of the tables are still available even with the others being reserved. You can't bring in outside food or drink which is annoying because there's a few easy restaurants in the strip as well, but they do offer assorted snacks and some sandwiches. They have an assortment of bottled sodas and juices, and a handful of beers on tap. They do not have liquor here though which is a bummer. However there is a bar next door called Nectar, so you can always just run in there and take a shot if need be! The parking lot is HUGE, so don't ever worry about parking. They also have the juke box going over the loud speaker and tv's on the wall. The pricing is hourly, and fairly priced. Remember to tip your bartender!! read more
