This is my Saturday afternoon place to relax. Nice tables, decent house cues, and good music to listen to. Steve and Mia are welcoming. People that come here are friendly. If you have questions about the game, they will help you out. It's like Cheers where everybody knows your name. The only problem is the women's bathroom is shared with men. Some men can't read the sign in the bathroom saying to be courteous and put the seat back down. Other than that, this is a wonderful way to de-stress and enjoy day. read more

Came here with a friend last Sunday and upon entering noticed immediately how many pool tables there are. There is a bar to the right where you can order beers or light drinks and then they light up the table that you will play on. The pool hall is dark like a bar, but there is plenty of nice lighting above each pool table. A tournament was going on at the same time we were there so it was fun to watch the pros. I am terrible at pool but this didn't stop me, my friend and I had tons of fun and at the end when we paid the prices were reasonable. Definitely will be coming back! read more

Smells bad, no ventilation and the clocks on the wall and their computer system are different times so they can charge you more. It's always a different price every time you go so be careful or set a timer to make sure they aren't scamming you. The vibe was relaxed, other players were respectful, and it was a great spot for us to enjoy some quality time and try out our new cue sticks. We each had a 22 ounce Modelo on draft, and they also offer 16 ounce pours. The prices are fair because the tables are well cared for, the space is clean, and it feels open and comfortable. First time here! This place started off really awesome. Great atmosphere. As the night got later and the bar tender switched to a male with a mustache, it became really sketchy. My party was charged 3 different prices for the exact same beer order, which we didn't catch immediately, then all of a sudden we were told there was a fee for using our debit card, which we also were not charged consistently or told about until we were on our 4th consistent beer order. Then at the end of the night, the man told us it was over $100, for pool alone, for 2 people and 3 hours. Who knows if this price was accurate. Prices are not posted anywhere, so go-ers beware to ask pricing upfront and ensure consistency with charges throughout your night. Seems like dealers choice. Nice and friendly place to enjoy with friends and family. The waitress' smile just beams. Spacious dining area and a full bar complement the atmosphere. Tables are impeccably clean (that means both billiards and dining tables) and that's also why customers are happy. This venue is different from other billiards and pool rooms because of its large size and high ceilings. Ambient lighting is well arranged and music is not too loud. Chill pool hall with over a dozen tables, about 4 small & the rest regular size. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking. I started going here a couple years ago before the forced shut down and have been back many times. I missed it. I usually get there before 8 to avoid crowds. It's a good place if you enjoy playing and maybe having a beer, but not a trendy spot where there's lots of people that just go to drink and hangout. It's very basic & minimal. They have lockers available & also pool sticks for sale. No food. I really like this place. The staff is nice and professional. They have a couple restrooms in the back, some TVs around and decent variety of cold beers and other sodas and drinks in the fridge. What more do you need? read more

I just realized I've now been coming here for over 15 years. Have I gotten any better in the last 15+ years? Nah, not really. But then again, I just come here for fun and or to relieve stress from work. It is still the best Pool Hall in the San Fernando Valley and if you come here often enough, you'll make friends that can lead to them being like family! This is one of the few places that actually regularly maintain their tables and clean it daily, if not every time they someone finished playing (if they have the staff to do so). Pricing wise, it's a bit more expensive than what I would like it to be but if it means giving this place business and they end up sticking around, I think it's worth the little extra. Whether you are a beginner and or just want to have fun with friends or you are a seasoned player, this is a great place to hang out. I will, however, request that if you come here in a large group, please be respectful of those players around you. If you want to come practice or you like to play without feeling like you have to be aware of others around you, I suggest coming from Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday, there seems to be more people so it is lively but if you're trying to seriously play, it can be a bit distracting. I've been coming to Plush Pocket for a few years now and it's a pretty good pool hall compared to some others I've experienced. They've got about 20 tables of all sizes of length and pockets. League is out of there multiple times a week as well, but more than have of the tables are still available even with the others being reserved. You can't bring in outside food or drink which is annoying because there's a few easy restaurants in the strip as well, but they do offer assorted snacks and some sandwiches. They have an assortment of bottled sodas and juices, and a handful of beers on tap. They do not have liquor here though which is a bummer. However there is a bar next door called Nectar, so you can always just run in there and take a shot if need be! The parking lot is HUGE, so don't ever worry about parking. They also have the juke box going over the loud speaker and tv's on the wall. The pricing is hourly, and fairly priced. Remember to tip your bartender!! read more

It was my first time here and I went with some friends. It was nice environment. Came on a Thursday so less people thank god. We got to have our own space. Down side is right when I walked-in it smelled like pee. They only have beer which was a bummer. I wish they had a full bar but it's good because there was no loud people. Everyone minded their own space and didn't bother us. The music is okay. I wish they played less EDM songs. The bartender guy didn't really explain to us how they will charge us whether it is per hour, person, or game. When I asked he stated it depends on how many people. I got a vague answer.
