Came here on a whim Love that there's ample parking and the ginger milk tea (w/ the non-milk option/ 50% sweetness) was bomb! Yay for cash discounts as well! Staff is super friendly and I'd definitely come back to try more flavors!

Half & half is my easy answer for if anyone wants to get boba in Pasadena. They have free parking, seating, and such a wide menu. They don't allow outside food & drink but they do have a considerable amount of savory bites to compensate. The seating is casual, they don't do tables or outlets for people to take up and study so the environment stays social. There's a little bit of outdoor seating as well. The menu is so wide and the signage throughout the store is very clear about their most popular flavors, pricing, and how to ask for modifications. Their service is fast too. They have a handful of mini claw machines to keep the atmosphere interesting too.

I love half and half. I so wish I could give it 5 stars. The only downside to them is their inconsistency. I order the exact same thing every time. Some days it hits, other days I question my choices. Every time I've been here is been empty makes me really sad. This is a staple location in SGV. I remember the old days where it was so packed we would leave. On this occasion my drinks were so good. I finished every last drop. The drinks come out quickly. The store is always clean. The servers are always nice. What's not to love?

Quality drink, but 75% sweetness was too much for me. Next time, I'd opt for 25% sweetness, especially if ordering boba, as the sweet brown syrup of the boba adds a lot of extra sweetness.

I would have thought this was considered San Marino but that's fine. What's not to like! Half and half is always reliable and a GREAT value. Their supersize version is only $7 bucks when many places are half the size for the same price. I love just about everything I get there but this time I got the milk tea. The caffeine is strong (I don't drink any caffeine usually) so this was perfect for like 3 servings haha. I normally get one of the fruit teas. Boba is always on point too.

Not a boba fan but I love a good passion fruit tea drink. Ordered 2 drinks: passion fruit tea with aloe jelly with 25% sweetened and iced milk with boba. Got our drinks in 5 minutes. I can only speak on the passion fruit, but it was refreshing and lightly floral and sweet and there was a generous amount of aloe jelly added.

The kumquat green tea has an usual taste, I'm not sure how to describe it. But I thought it was refreshing. The cashier was very helpful. He answered my questions and gave recommendations. He was very patient when I asked abt multiple drinks. He also gave me military discount when I asked. Overall, I enjoyed it and I will come back to try something new!

I think the drinks aren't as good as t when they first opened... I got 25%sugar and I felt like the boba wasn't as soft as it could have been.. but I love that they have claw machines while you wait but flavor wise I don't think it's as good as it used to be and the ice melts so quickly so my drink wasn't cold

You can't see anything that is behind the counter. They have this big wooden slab across the entire would-be countertop space. On the wooden divider wall, are signs of rules, specials, ect. Rules: no pictures, which I thought was weird but okay. They charge a credit card fee of 3.5%, so we used cash both times we came here. The first time, I got a brown sugar tea and the second time, I got a regular milk tea. They both tasted the same! They were very dark in color and it just tasted strong. I want it more MILKY. I just wasn't impressed.

After a Big Lunch, decided to stop by here for Tea. Ordered Passion Fruit/Mango Green Tea. No Mango Flavor, just a hint of Passion Fruit

#94, Iced milk with caramel, pudding and honey boba always hits the spot. boba was chewy and pudding was solid. Service was quick and friendly They currently have a summer special going on, which is a free size upgrade. Good place to chill and catch up with friends, as seats were available inside and outside the store.

Dropped by on our way down to SD last month. Got my usual default milk tea with boba to test it out and sadly it was just too watery.

Interior: Factory tea bar remodel quite a bit so it is a lot more modern and well light. Great studying spot. Wait Time: None as I ordered online. Drinks were ready when I got there. Also was empty mid day. Items Order: Larges 9/10 Egg coffee $7.5 - Coffee was very good, strong, sweet, authentic viet flavor. Egg foam was a solid addition but the egg flavor gets lost when mixed so could use more. 7.5/10 Matcha Einspanner $8 - sweetness was about 50% so could use more. the matcha itself was average, foam was solid and creamy. 8/10 Viet Coffee Einspanner $7.5 - solid viet coffee overall but the foam doesn't do much in my opinion 8/10 Nutty Spice Viet Coffee $7.5 - the pistachio milk added a different taste profile to the coffee which was a nice switch up. Pistachio flavor is definitely strong so get it only if that's what youre looking for.

This particular location though, could use some work with consistency. The selection and quality of pastries and drinks seem to vary throughout my many visits. My top pastries are all of their croissant-like pastries, especially the Pastry Frank (filled with a savory sausage inside) and Mini Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant (filled with a smooth and tangy lemon cream and fresh strawberries that add a tartness). Both of these have flaky, buttery exterior shells that are wonderful to bite into. For cakes, I love the strawberry soft cream cake. This cake is simple, light, and not too sweet. The thin layers of vanilla, soft cream, and strawberries blend excellently together. I appreciate that they provide free candles with whole cakes. An underrated cake is the green tea roll cake, which is delicious, but not ideal for celebrations.
