One of my go to bbq place in Murray hill and got the black pork belly, la Galbi, and beef tongue. The galbi was my favorite followed my the pork belly. The prices are a bit high but the portions are way bigger than other places. They also give a lot of banchan and rice. Service was amazing and it was pretty packed. Overall, a great experience and would come back to try other items on the menu

Delicious lunch! Needed something refreshing so I got the Mul Naengmyeon which comes as a combo with Galbi. The Galbi was great, flavorful and grilled well. The cold noodles were great with spicy mustard and vinegar, also had a scissor to cut the noodles. Staff was attentive and friendly, nice open space!

Ive been coming here for years and this place never fails. It has a variety of choices and delicious quality cuts of meat if you decide to do kbbq. Everything weve had from the cold noodles to the stews, pancakes etc have been delicious and a touch better than many other spots in the area.

Yippee, a place we like on Long Island! Actual charcoal for the BBQ (we have been suckered before with places that showed pictures of charcoal, but food was actually cooked on flat tops on gas burners). Banchan was hit and miss, but that's more of a personal preference. On the other hand, we found Kim chee that we both like, and it doesn't taste mass produced. And you can buy it at the store around the corner. Service was a little indifferent, but hey, you come for the food and it was goood! Not as great on siphoning the smoke as some of the more modern places, but it smells delicious, so who cares?

Came here for dinner. We ordered skirt steak, galbi, thick pork belly, seafood pancake, seolleongtang. Everything here pretty solid quality. Seafood pancake was probably my least favorite, not worth it and tastes worse than most places. Everything else i enjoyed a lot. My favorites were the skirt steak and galbi. Galbi is very good quality, marinated very well Overall, I'd come back here. Great for friends. All together, it was about $75/person including tip/tax.

Came here with the family for lunch. Busy restaurant. We made reservations since there were 11 of us. We sat comfortably at a long table. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I love that they help cook the food for you. The bonchons were good. The portions were good. It wasn't overly smokey inside the restaurant.

This is my bf & I's favorite Korean restaurant! A must get for every time we're in Flushing. They have one of the best cold noodles I've ever had and the banchan is always plentiful and delicious. My bf loves the marinated crab here & it is always great! At the end they give you a sweet punch and it hits the spot. The staff is always kind and polite & we'll keep on coming back!

I really like the Korean bbq here! And one of the best things about this place is that it's open at all hours of the night so it's perfect if you have late night kbbq cravings. This place comes with an assortment of banchan so it's a good amount of food! I think my favorite is the angus ribeye.

Honestly, some very average yet expensive KBBQ. Nice that they're open 24 hours though. We tried a selection of their meats & side dishes and our favorites were definitely the Marinated Galbi and Tteokbokki. Very flavorful and delicious. Everything else was fine, but nothing memorable. Service was slow but it's understandable.. we came late at night so it was one lady handling everything.

Traditional Korean restaurant that's great for families and groups of friends. We came here on a Saturday night, having reserved a table of 6. We were seated right away, looked at the menu for a good 5 minutes before ordering. The banchan(small side dishes) came out right away and the food all came out shortly after. We ordered the crispy dumplings, seafood pancake, 2 orders of bibimbap, cold noodles, 2 orders of the raw marinated crabs, and the spicy octopus main dish. In addition, what we ordered came with 2 soups. The raw marinated crabs came highly recommended, hence why we ordered 2 whole dishes of it. However, I'd say they didn't live up to the hype. While they were good, I'd have to say that I had better in ktown and other areas of Queens. I don't recommend the cold noodles. Their noodles were thin and all stuck together, even after cut with scissors. Taste was more bland than other restaurants. Dumplings and seafood pancake as appetizers were okay. Good for the group but don't think it's anything special. The octopus was good with a kick of spice if you're into that. Good amount of meat! I love spice so I didn't taste any spice but it sure was flavorful! My friends who aren't use to spice thought it was too spicy to eat again. Bibimbap was nice and filling. Came with loads and loads of veggies and you can adjust the flavor with the red gochujang blend sauce in the bottle. Honestly, we could have ordered just one of them but we packed the other to go. The service was good. Very attentive and welcoming and very kind. Tables were a little cramped and crowded but that's what you would expect at a Korean restaurant like this. Nice and cozy. Would I come back again? Yes, if I was in the area. I would like to try other things next time as they offer a wide variety of different dishes.

It's been years since I've visited and they did not fail! From the owner greeting us to ajumma serving and cooking our meat, everything was great!!! Food was delish, seasoned and flavored perfectly (for my liking at least). We had a party of 3 and over ordered! We were starving but left with belly full and lots of leftovers to take home. OH!! The tea at the end of the meal, was perfect!

    Seafood jongol -large
    Sung Hee K.

This restaurant in Murray Hill, Queens offers ample and excellent banchan. Their jongols are popular. We had the large seafood jongol and it was a of food. We got it less spicy and that was the right choice because because it was still spicy but not overly so. We also ordered two babsangs which came with soy bean stews, mackerel and galbi. The galbi was tasty but a tad sweet and oily. The mackerel was good and the soy bean stew was excellent. This was more than enough food for four people. The service was excellent and the restaurant is generally quiet except sometimes you have loud groups who stay and talk loudly for a long time. You get a choice of regular white or purple brown rice. I would definitely return and try other things on their menu.

This place is a little of a hidden gem and not quite like other Korean restaurants. But no gatekeeping here! We also came at a weird lunch time around 2pm so it wasn't really busy and we were seated right away. Once you enter, you'd quickly notice the very detailed beautifully hand painted murals on the walls and an abundance of painted butterflies. The attention to detail is impeccable! The menu is also very cute and I'm guessing handmade. It was pretty detailed and we appreciated learning about each dish before deciding what to order. We ended up ordering the Kimchi Pancake with seafood, the spicy bulkoki udon and the jeyuk udon. The kimchi seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with squid and shrimp! It also came with a semi sweet dipping sauce that paired nicely. Both udons came out piping hot and fresh! Udon had a nice chew to it, was loaded with vegetables as well as meat for each dish. The egg was fried and did not have a runny yolk. For sides, they gave us 4 things- a tomato salad, kimchi cucumbers, braised string beans, and bean sprouts. The tomato salad came in this cute apple shaped dish but neither of us really cared for it- this is completely biased though since we're not really fans of tomato. What we really did love was the kimchi cucumbers! Also at the end, they served us 3 pieces of cantaloupe which were very sweet. Overall, yummy food, cute shop, and friendly/nice staff! I'd come back to try their other food options in the future!

There's 2 waitresses and one busser, but I felt only one of the waitress was pulling the weight, while the other (maybe she's the owner?) mostly chatted with one of the table customers. I felt bad for our waitress she was so busy with fulfilling takeouts + dine ins and the dishes require a lot of servicing table side. She couldn't catch 1 second of break :( Food wise, we got their 2 person combo of spicy pork gamja tang and spicy rice cake which came with the steamed egg. Everything was so good, egg was extra fluffy, rice cake was delicious and the meat came right off the bones. They take a good variety of side dishes. My partner wasn't a fan of the gamja tang but due to feeling it's a hassle to eat meat with bones, so those who fee sim may agree. We also asked for the fried rice after we finished the gamja tang, for 2 servings I think it was $4.75 or something. I really enjoyed it but I guess I like scorched rice, also something my partner doesn't enjoy so those we feel sim just note. Environment feels very old school, well worn. Feels cozy. It can get loud very quickly on a Saturday night as this place seems to be a hit for large parties. Since the wait staff is short handed, expect a bit of a wait for things. Don't come if you're in a rush.

The inside is casual,…read moreand our waitress, Jane, was extremely friendly and helpful from refilling banchan to cooking meats and otherwise. A couple of us shared a $13 bottle of the green grape flavor of Chum Churum, a soju. In terms of banchan, there was a bunch. Everyone got a cold and refreshing cabbage soup as well as a very tasty version of Braised Tofu/Dubu-jorim/두부조림. Once we ordered, we also got a bunch of other banchan, including cabbage, radish, and cucumber Kimchi, broccoli and cauliflower Namul, Marinated Mushrooms/Beoseot Bokkeum/버섯볶음, Anchovies With Peanuts/Myeolchi Bokkeum/멸치볶음, and Potato/Gamja Salad/감자샐러드. One of the other things brought out was a pretty tasty version of Raw Soy Sauce Marinated Crab/Ganjang-Gejang/간장게장. Most of these were refillable. The first actual thing that arrived was something that I can't eat, the $22.99 Seafood Pancake/Haemul Pajeon/해물파전. I have a cephalopod allergy, or in other words, anything with tentacles, so I avoid squid and octopus, and seafood pancakes always contain one of those two. Everyone else enjoyed it, though. The pajeon I could eat was the Kimchi Jeon/김치전 for a dollar less. It was pretty tasty, though I prefer other spots that had a bit more of a crisp. Next was one of their signatures, the grilled duck. Going from online reviews, we went with the non-spicy version, as people prefer it, as the spicier marinade overpowers the duck. This was the $29.99 Sang Ori Gui/생오리구이. The sliced duck was on a hot, sizzling plate, with there also being a lot of grilled onions and scallions. The duck had a mix of pieces, ranging from fatty to less so, and had a nice mix of textures. This was easily one of my favorites, though I liked it even more when paired with the ssamjang that arrived with the BBQ, as the sauce balanced the light fattiness. Arriving at a similar time was the last thing I couldn't eat, the Spicy Stir-Fried Baby Octopus on Iron Plate/Jjukkumi Cheolpan Bokkeu/철판쭈꾸비볶음, for $30.99. I couldn't try the octopus, but the portion was plentiful, and I had a bit of the noodles on the bottom after making sure there were no tentacles, as well as trying the sauce. The sauce was tasty, spicy, and very flavorful. We went with two of the Korean BBQ meats, one beef and one pork. My preference of the two was surprisingly the $49.99 Charcoal Grilled Marinated Beef Ribs/Yangnyeom Galbi/양념갈비. This also came with two veggies: kabocha squash and asparagus. The beef was extremely tender, had the perfect mix of fat and meat, and had only a light sweetness from the marinade. This was absolutely delicious and very much worth the price point. Also tasty was the Grilled Pork Belly/Samgyeopsal/삼겹살, for $36.95. This also came with a few things, including cabbage and a large mushroom. The pork belly was delicious, being just fatty enough and very tender as well, with a mild chew. The BBQ came with a few extra side dishes. This included a tasty steamed egg/Gyeran-jjim/계란찜, greens, an onion salad, ssamjang, salt, and a small boiling pot of soybean stew/doenjang jjigae. They were all tasty, though nothing particularly notable outside of the portions being generous. Also, at the end of the meal, they gave us some sujeonggwa. Not much for me to complain about this place. The food was very tasty overall, and the service was wonderful. I would go back and order a full beef BBQ set.
