Unfortunately, I didn't find as many clothes as I had wanted to because I found the selection not so great, but I will say that your organization and service standards are greatly improved from previous visits at this location.

I went back to the store hoping to either return it or at least exchange it for something that would work. The cashier was actually very nice and tried to be helpful. She asked her manager about the return, but unfortunately, the manager was very blunt and came across as rude when explaining that because it was Labor Day weekend, they were not accepting returns for red tags. I understand that stores have policies, but not allowing a return or even an exchange on an item purchased just two days earlier because of a holiday-weekend policy doesn't make much sense to me. I would have appreciated a little more understanding and better customer service from management. I have always associated the Nordstrom name with good customer service, so this experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this Nordstrom Rack.

Upon arrival we found a close parking spot in there private lot. That was a total win for me. I'm all about parking and if I have to parallel park then there is an issue. I can do it, but prefer not to. And I really struggle with it. I get the concept, but my execution isn't the best. You may think I'm an extremist, but if I question their parking situation I will call before my trip and ask if they have a parking lot. We were greeted upon entry into the store by a very peppy gentleman. I loved it. I don't expect it, but really appreciate it. We arrived today, Wednesday March 4th at around 6pm. The store was not packed. There were several shoppers milling around looking for this or that. There carts had items in it so they were real shoppers not just window shoppers. The patrons were friendly. While there someone was stocking shelves. They had so much good stuff, such as nice Easter dish towels, Peter Rabbit tea sets, hair assessories, a huge selection of men's socks, bath towels, and so much more. With all that goodness they didn't have the shorts I was looking for. They have 2 or 3 shorts in my size but they didn't have the length I was looking for. In addition they lack size 2 or 4, most shorts start at a size 6 and that's too large for me. My dad suggested I just get long pants and cut them down to shorts and that may be what I will need to do, but it's still early and the season and I'm not going to give up quite yet. My mom found a treasure. She is always in search of memory foam seat cushions for the dining room chairs. They like to play games and sit for awhile and want to be comfortable. My dad swears by COSTCO and said she should just get them there as they are more durable. And my mom swears that they don't have them at COSTCO and wanted to get the one she saw here. She won with her persistence and bought one. Dad still thinks it will were out in 4 weeks or less. I guess time will tell. I didn't look further in the clothing section as I'm on a budget and other then shorts I have enough clothing. I was temped though as I love clothing and a good deal. My dad was on the quest for blue athletic socks, but not those short ones that fit in your shoes, he want the crew ones. Sadly he didn't find any. They were mostly black and the wrong length. I did find some cool Scooby doo socks that I loved. I'm a big Scooby Doo fan. They had some St. Patrick's day pasta that I thought my girlfriend would love, but I wasn't sure if I'd see her before St. Paddy's day and out of date pasta is really a lame gift. I really wanted some of those spring dish towels, but we have so many, so so many that I recently pulled the old ones out and we still have a nice stack of new dishtowels. This isn't the best looking Ross that I've been to and it seemed a bit ghetto, it was just the feel for the store and the disarray of the clothing. The stuff selection was better displayed. I'd say it's a good store and would come back for the stuff section of the store.

On the contrary, my whole experience was remote and was completed over the phone. Which more often than not you would expect a lower standard of service via the phone. I connected with Alexis one day as she so happened to pick up the phone and generously offered to help me locate the dresses I was specifically looking for for my bridesmaids. Funny, I had called the store the day before and was very disappointed by how I was assisted so I tried my luck again for the second time around. Alexis clearly asked how she can help, and explained the process of returns, purchases via the online store vs the storefront, and ALL the options possible for me to find the dresses and the multiple sizes I needed. Since they didn't have the sizes I was looking for at her store, she's helped me in locating which store had the inventory and she also helped me transfer one of the dresses to the New York location so it would be more accessible for my sister to try it on and purchase. After multiple phone calls and multiple follow ups and a few hiccups here and there, Alexis pulled through and got it all done for me. Her responsiveness, communication, transparency, urgency, kindness, and all the above was extremely impressive. Ensuring I got a wonderful and positive customer experience. Please promote Alexis and give her a raise NOW! She deserves it and is a huge reason for your customer satisfaction and retention. On top of that they need some alternative vocabulary to use which is more professional. These girls need to be re-evaluated in their performance reviews because they clearly are just there for a paycheck and could care less to help customers. When we asked if she could use a dressing room a young lady at the front said to go in one. Quickly, while attempting to shut the door, a man who apparently works at the store bum rushed my sister and told her he needed to count how many items she had. This was so inappropriate and made her deeply uncomfortable as she was already in the dressing room and he pushed the door back open. She is 17 and this was a grown man. Not only this, but I noticed later that we were the only group with a number on the changing room door. All the other rooms had someone in them and a friend or family member outside but no number. When I reached in to help my sister with her dress a staff member ran over and pretended to look at some clothes to watch me.. The other customers items weren't being counted and they weren't being watched the way my sister and I were. We just happen be two people of color. This made what was supposed to be a fun experience really frustrating and uncomfortable. I would absolutely never go back.

Used my phone number for return initially. Left store. Returned after finding emailed receipt proving return date. The cashier first claimed couldn't tell me shipping date yet couldn't accept return. Find receipt in my email showing deadline date. After all that a refund was received. cashiers still gave me shit saying oh well this and that then gave refund. $170.00 wasted cause the inefficient cashiers and store PoS machines.
