Like any mom, I wanted to make her happy, so we went in and I ended up doing a full shopping experience with her . That moment completely shifted my perspective. The experience, the service, and most importantly the quality--everything spoke for itself. I've been shopping here ever since, and it's now been over five years. I used to match my designer bags with fast-fashion--Forever 21, Zara, H&M--constantly rotating through pieces every season. But when I really sat down and did the math , I realized I was spending more replacing clothes that didn't last. Investing in a $200-$300 pair of jeans here that lasts through multiple seasons--including pregnancy and postpartum--actually makes far more sense. I absolutely love this brand and store concept. The quality is unmatched, and these are pieces you can truly keep for a lifetime. You don't need to build your entire wardrobe here--even a few staple pieces can elevate everything else you own. One of the most unique aspects is the no-mirror dressing room experience; but again I had to adjust . It may feel different at first, but I've grown to really enjoy it. It creates a sense of community--you get and give real feedback from other customers and the sales team, which can completely shift how you see and style an outfit. This store may not be for everyone from a budget standpoint--and that's okay. But I don't think that alone is a fair reason to leave a negative review. Unfortunately, I was not greeted upon entering, and despite the store being relatively empty with fewer than ten customers inside, most of the sales associates were standing around chatting instead of assisting customers. No one offered me a fitting room or asked if I needed help while shopping, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. When I went to return the tops I ordered online, I was incorrectly told that my items did not qualify for a refund because the return window had supposedly passed, even though I had received the order that same day. The cashier repeatedly insisted I was ineligible for a refund until she eventually realized it was a mistake, yet no apology was offered for the confusion or inconvenience. Upscale store, not for me [Walnut Creek CA] This store is located in Walnut Creek at the Broadway Plaza shopping center. This is one of my daughter's favorite stores so we strolled inside. It was my first time at an Aritzia store. Ooh! Aaah! The merchandise was nicely laid out and the fashionable mannequins were appealing (depending on your fashion style). Then I did another Ooh! Aaah! after seeing the prices of these clothes! No way were these prices in my budget so I just let my daughter do the shopping. We did spend quite a lot of time here, my daughter going back and forth trying on a few items. They do not have mirrors inside the dressing rooms. You would have to walk out and view from a huge mirror (possibly with others). I did end up buying an "LA" baseball cap (after the Dodgers won the World Series in 2025, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays). Don't be hating, Giants fans... I'm neutral. I am more into basketball. Anyway, that was by far the most pricey cap I've added to my collection at $36 AND after all that time inside the store my daughter ended up not purchasing anything (eye roll). Outstanding customer service I did a special order for a sweater at the Aritzia Walnut Creek store. Weeks later my order didn't come, but when I went into another Aritzia, they had the sweater in my size. I tried it on, but unfortunately, it didn't fit. So I called Aritzia's customer service and they canceled it for me. The person that helped me was great. When my order finally came in, it came to the attention of a very amazing sales person, her name is Jhas. She called me immediately to tell me that there were sweaters in the store and asked if I received my order. I told her that the order did not come, and I ended up canceling it she asked me for the case number. I was driving so I told her I'd call her when I was home. I called her back and she was amazing - professional, friendly, and very kind. She took care of everything for me. Came to aritzia with the difficult mission of buying all new jeans.. every woman's worst nightmare. I must have tried on 30 pairs of jeans. Carla was incredible with helping me every step of the way. She got to know my situation, started me a fitting room for items I had picked out, added some she thought I would like, and was checking in throughout trying on. She brought lots of different size options when needed and had great product knowledge when something was out of stock but recommended something similar. Do not order from them. They are the worst company every. I ordered two jackets and my daughter didn't like either of them. I returned them both in the same box at FedEx and they claimed that I only returned one of them so only issued a refund for one of them. I have called them a dozen times and spoken to their managers and they claim that they weighed the package on arrival and it was consistent with only one jacket being in the box. I am out $300 for a jacket that I returned but they claim they never got. Absolutely horrible customer service. Please don't support this company. read more

I went last week to return a few items I had purchased on different orders. When returning, I was never asked why I was returning. For one of my items, the refused to issue me a return because the item looked "worn". However, I was returning because I received the item with a stain. The item showed no signs of being worn, as it had all the tags. Instead, I was given a customer service number to call for my return. I ended up calling customer service and they were very helpful. They apologized for not being able to get a refund at the Walnut Creek boutique and offered me an exchange, store credit or a refund. In addition, they informed me that they'd be contacting the Walnut Creek location and informing them of my in-store return. However, when I tried to return it today they said they wouldn't be able to give me a refund and could only provide me with store credit. I had to show them the chain of communication that I had with customer service for them to give me a full refund. Every time that I have shopped at Aritzia in Walnut Creek I have had a bad experience with their customer service. I wouldn't recommend shopping at this location and I would be knowledgeable on their return policy. A majority of the girls working at this location look down on what you're wearing, look at you as you're shopping and make you feel uncomfortable as you're shopping and spending hundreds of dollars. read more

The dressing rooms have curtains that don't close all the way and they allow men to sit on the couches facing them. You can absolutely see people trying on clothing. Last time I went there were 6 men total between the 2 parts of the dressing rooms. Needs privacy. Mirrors + better doors for the rooms, or no men where women are getting dressed. read more

I love swinging by and seeing what new items they have at this location. It is clean and the girls who work here are friendly and quick to help you get a fitting room started. I literally grabbed one shirt and held it for 5 seconds and an employee came up to me and asked for my name and started a room for me. I still am not a fan of their communal mirror but since it wasn't busy, I was more confident in using it. My favorite employee is Maddy. She is so friendly and always makes sure if there is something I want, she can always help me order it if they ran out of my size or length. I highly recommend coming to this location. The selection is vast with lots of sizes available. The value is mediocre as some of their items is highly priced. Their clothes are high quality compared to lots of the stores around them which justifies the price when shopping here. Good staples to have in your closet. read more

Dropped by this afternoon to spend a gift card I got for Christmas and it was packed, with a line nearly out the door because of their post-Christmas sale. I've been shopping with Aritzia (primarily at the San Francisco location but here too on occasion) for many years now so I'm used to the very worst aspects of shopping with this brand: snotty, uppity workers, poor return/exchange policies, limited in-store stock. Today, service was particularly bad in a way I haven't experienced in years, and not just because of the crush of customers (which I was sympathetic to, to a degree). As usual, within minutes of grabbing stuff, a worker comes over to take it out of my hands and eliminate me as a security risk, masked as "Can I start you a fitting room?" I said yes. A few minutes later, I grabbed more things and a miserable employee with an attitude asked me curtly if she could start a room for me. I told her I had one, she asked my name, and said she'd add the items to my room. This is very standard and happens nearly every time I shop at Aritzia: someone starts you a room, you grab more stuff, someone else adds it to your room. After standing in the long line to the fitting room, an attendant grabbed my clothes to set me up in my room and I realized the clothes I gave the second employee were missing. It took both of them plus the guy who started my room to figure out someone took the clothes I gave the second employee up to the register to be paid for, claiming they "got confused" about what to do with them. Not sure why when the second employee said she'd add them to my room, which, again, is standard procedure at any Aritzia I've been to from California to New York City. There are a number of male employees working here now, which is cool, but I don't think it's cool that they're in the fitting room. With the stupid communal mirror situation, it's uncomfortable walking out and trying on clothes in front of guys -- already uncomfortable enough in front of other women. (This isn't meant to be misandrist in any way.) Finally make my selection, get up to the counter, and the cashier doesn't say hello or anything at all for a good moment before asking (without making eye contact) if I've shopped with Aritzia before. I said yes and gave her my number -- which she asked for three times. The third time, she claimed I wasn't in their system. Feeling beyond irritated with this circus at this point, I was perhaps sharper than I should've been and said, "Not possible. I've been shopping with you guys for years." She quietly input my number a fourth time before finding me in their system, though she was noticeably a little bothered during the rest of the transaction (which I didn't feel bad about given her rudeness at the start of the transaction). I couldn't wait to get out of there. Inept service aside, a surprising amount of the clothes here today were stained with deodorant; I don't know how these girls are putting clothes this expensive back on the racks, thinking we want to pay for someone else's deodorant streaks. And while I get that many styles are leaning pretty casual right now, all of the employees looked sloppy and like they were dressed in their loungewear. Far cry from the standards of appearance these employees were formerly held to. Completely unimpressive display from this store all around. read more

Mia is who is saving this store! She is by far one of the most amazing staff I've dealt with when shopping here. I have become a regular, but I encountered Mia just a few days ago and she was a pleasant surprise. I would give 5 stars but the other staff are so unpleasant, that it is almost palpable. After spending nearly $1,000 in one shopping trip, I went back to return a shirt that was just too tight when I finally went to wear it. I had taken the tags off (not knowing about their strict no tag removal policy, which is not printed on the receipt). One of the snooty girls from the back (I'm old enough to be her mother) grilled me for almost 5 minutes about why the tags were removed. I asked her why it was a problem, I had taken them off because I thought I was going to keep the garment! She kept coming at me in an accusatory way- even though I TOLD her I'd removed the tags AND put them in the bag. She finally told me I could have store credit that was only available until the end of day to use and that she was "doing me a one time favor". No favors needed honey! $108 doesn't make or break me. I took the shirt and left. I'll shop at Nordstroms and will stick to shopping Aritzia online only or via Mia. Customer service is so important when people are spending good money! read more

They seem to have hired really great staff. I was taken care of by jasmine. She was really phenomenal and did a great job with suggestions. She was super patient and attentive to my needs. The clothing o picked was super cute. I'm 5'5 and very curvy, so it's a bit tough finding things that fit. Wait why is everyone complaining??!! Aritzia is my favorite store these days and everything they have on the racks is super cute. They carry a lot of items that are trendy, flattering, and good quality! I would choose to shop here any day over places like Zara or Forever 21, which I graduated from several years ago due to their low quality. I don't know if I just got lucky every time, but all the workers have been extremely kind and friendly to me. Someone always comes and asks if I need a room started at the changing room. The last time I went in, I asked one worker what they would recommend I wear with this sweater vest I was trying on, and she suggested a couple of things for me. Then another worker went and picked out a few things for me to try on which was very sweet of them to do! She brought me two skin-tight turtle neck long-sleeves to try on with it and GIRLLL. 5+++ all around for Ashlyn Scott! I don't think I have ever had such a great shopping experience at Artizia until I went shopping this past weekend in Walnut Creek. I came in with a purpose and that was to buy 2 cropped tanks that I could wear with some high waisted pants. Ashlyn approached me and offered me a dressing room but also suggested lots of great pieces! I love that Ashlyn listened to things that I was looking for and pulled wonderful outfits. I swear I walked out with the entire store plus more that they ordered for me and sent to my house. Having Ashlyn help me at Artizia was like shopping with my own personal stylist! Every single time in come in here I either get completely ignored OR harassed depending on what I look like that day. If I don't have makeup on/a cute outfit, nobody gives me the time of day. When I do look "nice", the employees don't leave me alone and I get like 10 different people asking me if I need help within a 5 minute span. This last trip in there is what is making me write this review, I was looking at 2 tops and debating on colors when an employee started walking towards me. I thought she was going to ask if I needed any help or wanted to start a room, but instead she barely mumbled excuse me and literally cut me off so she could put a shirt back on the rack I was at. I understand if you need to do go-backs but maybe wait until the customer has walked away from that specific rack or at least ask if they need help before doing that. I was approached by a couple staff members who asked me if I needed help while browsing. After making my selections, I went to the fitting room to try on. A staff member was super nice, let me into a room, and told me to let them know if I needed anything. I went straight to check out after trying on. I had a few people ahead of me, but the line went fast. When they asked for my phone number, the gal ringing me up said she remembered me from shopping at this location before (which was really sweet of her! I feel so bad that I didn't remember her in return or catch her name!). She made small talk, asked me about my plans for the day, and thanked me for coming to shop. Aritzia is a very simple yet I would say high end priced clothing shop. I hear more and more people talk about it and purchase their quality clothing. They have casual, workout clothes, business clothes and are all really simple with no logos. It has a large store front off of Broadway in Walnut Creek and it's easiest to park in the large parking garage across the street, parking isn't too expensive. The workers seemed very friendly and stopping by on a Saturday afternoon it was busy in May. I came in to purchase a gift card for my sister in law for Mother's Day. They don't have the gift cards on display but you they do behind the register and they come in a cute box and bag to take. There is a large couch area for people to wait and their fitting rooms looked busy. I'm not too sure how socially distant everyone was. You can also order online and make exchanges. read more

The manager on duty, Katie, went above and beyond for me. She contacted another store in Chicago, IL, to locate the last size 8 in the Melina Pant in the exact color I wanted. She was able to have that location ship it to my address. She knew I wanted to have them for this weekend and even offered 1-2 day shipping for me. I felt attended to and cared for at this location! The associates and management at this location delivered the best customer service in the most difficult situations! I love how they offer to start you a room while you are shopping & help you choose pieces that go well together. But here is the part that made me not want to shop here anymore: I came in to return a pair of pants and a dress, both were bought a week prior (plenty of time left for their generous 14 day return policy! l o l). The employee helping me said that she couldn't accept the dress because "the tag isn't in the correct place and we don't put tags here, we only place them 'here and here'". What in the actual f***. The item wasn't worn, tags were in the exact same spot as it was when I bought it. Unfortunately, I had to be a Karen that day and speak with the manager just so I wouldn't waste 100$ on a dress that I wasn't going to wear. I don't understand how management or better yet the company can tell employees to lie like this to customers. Over time I became an Ariztia whore and have gained relationships with these girls. Walnut Creek is by far one of my favorites. It's Saturday afternoon and there's a only a few people in the store. The space is large and airy, normally good characteristics but it left me wondering what sets this store apart from any other? Even with an attendant, don't expect help in the dressing room (help yourself, it seems). No mirrors in each fitting room, so you'll have to walk out to the common area to find out if your picks were a hit or miss. Great location, but next time I'll pass. read more
