Allison is very hands on with trying on your suit and making adjustments while you wait if needed. Even changing connectors if preferred as well. When looking for a LOCAL option for a "BLING" bikini in preparation for my NPC Bikini Competition debut, I found Alecia's locker and ALLISON through Joan Pineda, an NPC Bikini contestant/coach and sponsored athlete of Sunset Swimwear. I can't say enough GREAT things about Allison. She is the only designer and manufacturer EAST of the Bay of bikini and figure competition suits! Plus, her NOVICE suits are SO AFFORDABLE for those who are aiming to be budget conscious for their first show, but who want to look FABULOUS and SHINY on stage. She is so easy to work with!!! As an added bonus, she is happy, has a great demeanor and she feeds off of your excitement and I'm going to be SO PROUD to wear her suit on stage. She has many fabrics to choose from and she also has crystals and connectors to BLING IT UP! Love her and love this business!!!!

I placed a call yesterday to their store to see if they carried the swimsuit needed. The help was attentive and on point. The lady on the phone placed three swimsuits on hold. I was able to drive to their store and pick up the swimsuits and mail back the two sizes that did not work without any hassle.

This year, Sean Ryan, the CEO, personally reached out to us and made several commitments regarding pricing, service, and delivery. Unfortunately, he FAILED to deliver on ALL of those commitments, resulting in significant financial and operational issues for our team and families. The following concerns summarize our experience: 1. Pricing Discrepancies:The pricing we agreed upon was changed multiple times on the team ordering website. When these discrepancies were brought to Sean's attention, some prices were adjusted, but they still did not fully reflect our original agreement. 2. Unauthorized Shipping Charges: Shipping fees were added to our families orders despite our explicit agreement that shipping would be free for our team. In fact, the primary reasons we switched vendors was the promise of free direct shipping to families. Several families are still owed shipping reimbursements, and our club is now considering covering those costs on behalf of the vendor. 3. Unfulfilled Promotional Commitment: Sean committed to providing 100 free swim caps at no charge. To date, this commitment has not been honored. 4. Outstanding Team Rebate: Our team has not received the 10% rebate that was promised as part of our agreement. 5. Failure to Meet Delivery Deadlines:We placed two separate order batches to ensure timely delivery. The first batch was scheduled to arrive in late April; however, orders did not begin arriving until mid-to-late May. 6. Missing Orders and Financial Impact on the Club: More than 15 families never received their orders. As a result, our club had to work directly with the manufacturer to replace those items. The club incurred the cost of the replacement orders as well as approximately $400+ in expedited shipping charges. Sean had committed to providing us with an update by Friday, 5/29 after multiple conversation with me and our coach, but instead he became unreachable (he turned off his phone) and did not respond until Monday, 6/1. By that point, we had already been forced to make alternative arrangements with the manufacturer. 7. Poor Communication and Lack of Professionalism:Communication throughout this process was inconsistent and unprofessional. Calls and messages often went unanswered, making it extremely difficult to resolve urgent issues in a timely manner. 8. Pattern of Similar Complaints: After discussing our experience with other swim teams throughout the East Bay, I learned that several teams have encountered similar issues with Sean and his company.

Really love the store layout, not sterile, has personality to it, the variety of sports items, apparel, shoes, and was even pleasant enough with the air-conditioning and fans on. Can't give it 5 Stars, though. Would love to, but this place has more items missing price tags than Grocery Outlet! Mentioned it to a couple of the employees, one replied there are "some items" where that is true ( more than some ), and another assured me that the items I was referring to had price tags on them. Yeah, No! At least in the energy bars / nutrition / protein powders / hydration packs, etc. department. Yes, there are some stickers designating price / bar and price / box, which IS helpful, then...a row or two or three of suddenly no price tags. And look at it this way, if you're going to put in the effort to label containers with expiration dates like "5/27" ( which seems like the store did in the spirit of good customer service ), then you CAN actually make the effort to clarify to the customer what item is what price. ( Why does this seem like basic Common Sense here, and if managers are not on top of this problem, then that is on them. I spent too much time walking the aisles, trying to find pricing, asking for help to scan items, discovering more things without pricing. Fix that problem ASAP. Or install a scanner in parts of the store for customers to utilize on their own. ) Overall, check out the store. Here's another reason why: I observed (2) separate employees, one younger 20's male in the running shoe department, one latter 20's female in the ski boot department, personally attending to customers, giving their input on products, doing some old-school sales and persuasion. VERY GOOD to see that. Both had product knowledge, were hands-on, was refreshing to see. Thumbs up!
