I called to make sure the one I wanted was in stock and they offered to hold it for me until I got down there, very kind. When I got there, I was greeted and asked how they can assist me. They already had my shirt waiting for me behind the counter, the employee double checked the shirt for any issues and saw a mark on it. He advised it would be just a moment while he steamed it. Upon doing that, he informed me he found a pin hole in the shirt and it was not acceptable to sell. I thought I was out of luck but the employee assured me it was no issue and had other colors to show me. I ended up getting the melrose in classic fit. Didn't even try it on. Got to the event I was working, put it on, and it was perfect. Incredibly comfortable shirt with great service. They have themselves a new customer.

Jeremy listened to my concerns, helped us shop around and explore options, and ultimately guided us to find a versatile suit that will work for many occasions. Such a nice man to work with. Definitely recommending our friends and family to Jeremy at State & Liberty in the future.

The selection inside had pretty much all the styles that I saw online. I spoke to Victoria, and she was very eager and helpful. She pointed out that for sizing they have a rack of designated shirts you can try before heading around to pic a style after confirming your fit. When it was clear that I was going to buy something, the other sales people started to hover around me trying to help. But I let them know Victoria was already working with me, so they couldn't cut into her sales commission. Unfortunately, I discovered that I needed a size larger, um more accommodating, than I had hoped. I ended up requiring a harder to find size, which they didn't have in the patterns I wanted at the store. Victoria was able to find one online that I could order and have sent to me. She said the window would be 4 - 7 days max. It ended up being 8, so I missed it for the occasion I was hoping to wear it for. So a word of warning--they ship via DHS, which is often terrible. But I eventually got it, and it looked good. Abdul also helped with the online ordering, so I appreciated that. There's plenty of free mall parking.

My favorite place to go!!! ALO =)…read more Okay, so I was supposed to leave this review months ago, but here I am. Sorry you guys. I love this location, it's always SUPER CLEAN and VERY AESTHETICALLY PLEASING and these are things I go for. Parking is tough tho, they do have a parking garage but idk I hate parking in their parking garage for some reason. So, I park across the street from the shopping center inside Safeway parking, but you guys are not supposed to do this lol. Anyways, they accept cash and card. They are always fully stocked on items at this location, I have been numerous of time and they have always had everything I needed and wanted this is a HUGE PLUS. I wish I can remember the sales associate that helped me with everything when I was just last there, I want to say her name was BRITTANY, she is literally a gem and super nice/cute. I also met their manager, TAYLOR I believe his name was and he even shook my hand, this spoke VOLUMES to me and he was EXTREMELY NICE. I have to point this out because of a lot of managers are not ever twice nice, or people friendly, let alone want to shake your hand. But he was everything and more and he seemed so well put together himself, ima skin girl girly, and remind you this is from months ago, I went and forgot to leave me review but I still remember how clear his skin was. So shoutout to him!!!! Now, I have to give only one con I sort of don't feel, when I come and I look like a bum lol and want to be in & out. I am not treated as nice or friendly by some of the "pretty girls" they turn into "mean girls" and I really dislike this, we shouldn't treat people let alone your customers a certain way because of how they look when they come in. Please do not profile us, you don't know who we are, what we are going through, and our clothes/looks does not define us as a person or how much we are going to spend in your store because how we look when we come in. But other than this, I love them. But I have to give them 4 stars just because of this. Check them out!

This is the closest Alo location to me, and I've visited many times. Out of all my visits, I've only had one truly great experience - and that was back in October 2025. Most of the time, no one greets me or asks if I need assistance, which is why I end up doing about 90% of my shopping online and only come in-store for returns or exchanges. During this visit, I was quickly browsing and trying things on when a tag must have come off one of the items. I was in a bit of a rush, but I'm always intentional about what I select. The associate working the fitting room never introduced herself and made me feel uncomfortable, as if I was being treated with suspicion rather than as a customer. I'm not sure if the reaction was due to my race, the tag, or something else, but the interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. As someone who shops the brand regularly and is part of their "All Access" rewards program - and even gets invited in for personal shopping - this experience was disappointing. I'll likely stick to online shopping moving forward. Alo, there's definitely an opportunity here to better train staff on customer service and how to treat loyal customers.

The younger taller gentleman, I don't know his name but he has an accent that sounds Persian, was unexpectedly dismissive today, nearly from the moment I entered. I asked him about the sale that last time he told me was going to be in September. He said try again in October I said when in October he said actually December and still didn't give a specific date. Okay, that still wasn't the reason I'm leaving this review. I casually started browsing some of the beautiful Italian shirts and without me even asking him a question he yelled across the store none of those will fit you. Look my guy, I am 8% body fat, and a semi-Pro cyclist. I'm skinnier than you and you are pretty slim. Looks like the same guy I made almost the same insulting comment to another customer a while back according to these reviews. Then he almost seemed annoyed that I continued to browse and said out loud what exactly are you looking for as if I was invading his store and/or annoying him. At this point, this was the second or third last chance. WhileI didn't feel he was entitled to an answer, since at this point I knew he wasn't going to respond with anything helpful. I told him I was looking for a wrinkle resistant white dress shirt. Immediately responded, we don't have any of those. I had already seen at least two maybe, more of them. That was it. I told him, it seems like I am bothering you and told him I'm leaving. At that point he tried to insist that he had not intended to be rude. He either intended to be or couldn't even tell that he was. Either way, it's a problem. I used to like this guy and the store for I was going out of my way to try to support local business and not just buy everything online but he is making it exceedingly difficult to support local businesses in Danville. Sincerely, Nick C.
