I was originally looking for a dress and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress for 3 weddings I have this year. And I ended up coming back to grab a few basics for work and she made it seem like it was only me and her in that store, although there were others she had to attend haha whoops! I never felt rushed, had plenty of options to choose from, and found everything I was looking for, plus a few things I didn't know I needed. My only disappointment was at checkout. After purchasing nearly $1,000 worth of clothing, my items were placed into the bag without much care. In the past, my Aritzia purchases have been carefully folded and wrapped in tissue paper, which always made the experience feel more special. I wish that same attention to detail had been given this time. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would happily return. A little more care with packaging would have been the perfect ending to an otherwise great shopping experience.

I always wondered why people like to use the fitting rooms here, b/c I thought most of these products were so basic and simple that the fit should be fine. It's actually nice to try items on as each piece could be made slightly different. I ended up not liking a tank I had grabbed in multiple colors because it looked too small for me. Randomly grabbed a pair of earrings I had seen near the register as my final item to purchase along with a pair of nice shorts, and a couple of other basic tanks. I wasn't sure about the earrings, but I received so many compliments the times I've worn them that I am so happy with my purchase. The price of the items here is also decent. The fitting room was kind of icky as there was gum on the curtain and the room did not look like it had been cleaned.

After standing in a long line to the cashier, I asked the lady cashier for a stock check because the shirt I got had loose threads and no other size on the rack. She found one and they need to get it from the stockroom, which would take additional 5-10min. She gave me instructions to pick up the item at the front of the store, on the Collections rack. I thought I could purchase the shirt and wait for it at the front...but no she sent me away. (I didn't understand why I had to leave the cashier after waiting in a long line, pick up the item I was trying to purchase at the front door area, then go back to the cashier again to purchase the item. What a weird process! Never experienced this with other stores.) I had to reiterate, that I just lined up for 10min and I don't want to have to line up AGAIN. She said, "no, you don't line up again. Just go to the side(front of cashier), and WE'LL take you IN FRONT of the line." Ok, I thought that was fair. I left and waited another 5min-10min for the replacement shirt. Walked back to the side of the cashier, front of the line. There was a different cashier, 1 person in line for purchase, and 1 person to the right at Return/Exchange line. The Cashier didn't acknowledge me when he saw me(like "do you have any question, or I'll be right with you.."). When he finished with a customer, I approached the cashier, explained that I picked up the item from stock and I was told to come back to the front of the line. Then he told me with an attitude that,"you just got here and I need to help the person in line." I further explained that I was at the cashier earlier, but was told to leave to pick up the stock and return to the front of the line. He said, with an eye roll, "well, I didn't tell you that." So I stood in line again, and waited for the 3rd time! When he finished with the customer, he wouldn't assist me, and called the other person in line for returns, avoiding me. So I stepped closer again to the cashier, asking for assistance. He moved away from me to use the other cash register, took the other customer, and told me why he wouldn't assist me, "I don't like your attitude." I was surprised..and I answered back, "you don't need to like my attitude, but you guys should know how to follow your "OWN PROCESS AND PROCEDURES." (It's ashamed that you employ a person who can't deliver professional service, who needs more training to follow Zara's OWN process!!!) Maybe if I was instructed to go back in line after waiting for the replacement stock, I would've decided then if: 1-it was worth the wait to go back in line again 2-additional wait time for a replacement stock 3-or purchase the shirt I originally lined up for, but live with the poor quality of loose threads on the seams and collar. I would've went back in line, in peace, and not be harassed by your own employee. No wonder, you guys have 1.5stars on YELP! It's embarrassing. If more customers shopped online, you're jeopardizing the dying practice of professional customer service, and corporate could close down the store, and jobs would be on the line. I'm in customer service so I know how it is to properly treat a paying customer.

My first visit was when I was in need of shoes to wear for an interview a girl helped me choose the shoe and the color. Today I was in need of basically my first pair of jeans if you can believe it. I was helped by a girl named Lizzy, I believe her name was, as I was told at the register when I asked. She asked if I needed help and she offered to pick out some straight leg jeans in my size. I ended up leaving with a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly thanks to her suggestions and feedback! It was about $138 at the register, which is a little steep for one pair, but I'll happily pay the price for a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly in the waist, fit my 5'1" frame, and feel soft and comfortable and not scratchy at all. I got the 90's Straight in a 25P. (Thank god they have petite lengths!!!) Super happy with my purchase thanks to Lizzy and will be back for another pair eventually :)
