I reached out immediately in mid-August to book her, and she was luckily available! I was ecstatic. I followed up with a question about booking and did not hear back for over a week. That's fine, I get that she's busy. When I finally heard back, I received a long list of items to fill out for a contract. After I sent my contract info, I received an email from her assistant that my info was received and that a contract would be coming soon. I was so excited! It had already been a month since I initially reached out, so I was ready to lock this down. After waiting for TWO MORE WEEKS, I am told that someone else booked my date and thus they could not proceed with my contract. WHAT?! You couldn't have told me that TWO weeks ago after claiming to have received my info?? By this point, it was already October. I was so upset - what a waste of my time! It had already been practically two months since I first contacted her. I decided to reach out again & ask if she had any recommendations for a similar style artist to her, and hoped she would give me suggestions out of good faith after completely wasting my time. It's been almost 3 weeks and no response. In those 3 weeks, I spoke to 5 different artists who responded IMMEDIATELY, and have moved forward with booking & paying, providing my vision, booking bridesmaids, and having all of my questions answered in hours by the artist I booked - a true sign of professionalism. If this is a sneak peek into how working with her will be like on the big day, then maybe it was a blessing in disguise. I'm sure she's a wonderful person but this was so rude & left a horrible taste in my mouth. Seems to be a common issue with her one star reviews too.

I felt like a princess. And somehow... she outdid herself on the actual wedding day. Everything just clicked. I paid $200 for the trial makeup for hair and makeup. I'm not a traditional bride by any means. I asked for bold, gothic makeup. Which I know, most brides go for natural makeup. I wanted smokey eyes and bold, wine lips. And a flawless, porcelain face. Basically, vampire makeup lol the airbrush makeup really took my interest as well. The shop is laidback, and all of the artists make you feel comfortable. Taylor was my artist. She was very friendly and listened to what I wanted. I asked for goth glam and she delivered. The makeup and hair both came out great. She did airbrush makeup and that was really fun to try out! Wedding day makeup and hair will be $450 on top of the $200 for the trial.
