What an unexpected find! We just happened to come across this place as we were looking through yelp and were really pleasantly surprised at the quality, portion and pricing of everything in the menu. Items you MUST try: - Fried Shrimp buns - Korean BBQ buns - Dumplings are homemade and very tasty, not the packaged/frozen gyoza that you find in most places - Drunken noodles were good but next time I'll order them with rice noodles instead of lo mein - Dessert! The banana fritters are actually more of a Filipino Turon, sweet plantains w jackfruit wrapped in a crispy rice paper wrapper and deep fried. Omg the food was sooo good. My daughter and I decided to share a few plates since this was our first time here. The Thai chicken wraps were so flavorful as were the Chicken Satay Buns. The shrimp dumplings were so light and the dipping sauce was delicious. We shared the chicken with coconut rice in red Curry's sauce. It was fantastic. After a big hike, 4 of us stopped for lunch and it was PERFECT. We called ahead and the woman working there greeted us when we got out of the car. It was a chilly day but we sat outside with the heater and felt comfortable. The food was so flavorful, so incredibly yummy that we almost all cleaned our plates (and the portions are huge). My friends have wheat and dairy allergies but still had plenty of great options. The woman serving us was so friendly, even bringing us extra Halloween candy with our bill. If I lived nearby I would come here all the time. The menu is huge and I'd love to try more. I will definitely make this my go-to post-hike spot! read more

Food, service and prices are great. Went there for the first time. We started with the steamed vegetable dumplings. Which had a good twist because it had purple potatoes in them. For dinner in had the Korean style beef bowl with a fried egg and a side of noddles. My fiancé had the bokchoy vegan bowl special and a side of coconut cilantro rice. Food is fairly decent - it's an eclectic mix of south and east asian cuisine with some American elements added to the mix; ultimately nothing is really 100% authentic. The 2 star rating is primarily for the waitstaff. Everyone from the person serving to the person answering the phones has been at best lackluster/lacking in customer service and at worse just straight up rude. We ordered here for lunch at work and I've gotten takeout otherwise as well. The food is really delicious here! I've tried a few things now. The main dish I had was the Nasi Goreng, an Indonesian style fried rice with a fried egg on top. I got it with fried tofu. It's really good! I got my husband the Pork Buns and Tom Yum soup. He said they were super delicious and just what he needed while he was coming down with a cold :) The only disappointing thing was the lettuce wraps come in iceberg lettuce pieces.. it made it seem not filling at all and should've been with butter lettuce. But other than that, super cute spot with very friendly staff. The parking is a but limited due to the location (right next to Chicken & Rice in the small plaza), but doable - at least during the day :) Definitely will keep ordering from here! read more

Food is absolutely excellent. The everything else is okay. Parking can be difficult on a busier night. The space is pretty small, but you won't feel overcrowded. Service was sub-par, but that could be due to the crowded night and fact that only two ppl were waiting tables. We had to wait for simple things like napkins and water for quite a while. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and really that's all that matters. The beef buns were soft, flavorful and perfect portion sizes to start with. The chicken dumplings were also crisp on the outside, but soft and flavorful on the inside. The garlic coconut rice paired with teriyaki was light, yet filling. My girlfriend loved the green curry. I will be coming back but on a much slower night. Their credit card system also has issues! I may bring cash next time. read more

AVOID this restaurant. I was told it would take 45 minutes to get food for takeout after ordering. Fine. I arrived to pick up food, paid bill, and waited...and waited. Other people picked up their food after I had arrived and no explanation from staff as to what happened to mine. After 15, then 30 minutes of waiting, I complained. No explanation, no apology, no "here's a glass of wine while you wait.." Terrible service. Kitchen looked like it was in disarray. Finally about 40 minutes after arriving to get food, it came out of kitchen, making it almost 1 1/2 hrs since ordering. While the curries were fine, although the meat in them was hard to find, the rice tasted like it had been prepared the day before and the calamari was room temp and without seasoning. Came here today with my brother and I can say I am so happy this place is in Rockland. The restaurant is a bit small outside, but definitely has plenty of space inside. I would recommend calling in advance for a reservation, because it does get packed very quickly. So we ended up ordering the calamari and Thai wings for appetizer. The calamari was the amazing it was fried and coated perfectly. My brother even liked it so I was happy, the chicken wings had great flavor not spicy but definitely worth trying. For our meals I ended up ordering the pan sear salmon in red curry extra spicy, and as It came out it was presented beautifully that I didn't want to eat it. The broth was hearty and flavorful while the salmon was just so soft and pan seared perfectly. This place is my go to spot for Asian fusion, you can't go wrong with place. If you're local or visiting the area and looking for a good Asian mixed cuisine, check out this place you'll be glad you did. They opened Aug8th 2017, and has quite a menu for a soft opening. Tonight I tried their starters, Korean BBQ Tacos and Spicy Thai Chicken lettuce wrap, while hubby tried spicy drunken chicken noodles. All of which were very tasty and we enjoyed every bite. The place has changed its location and seems to have changed hands. The food is delicious, not too salty but very tasty. The Papaya salad is the best I have tasted in any Thai or Malaysian restaurant, the cod fillet was nicely marinated before frying and added to the Green Curry. The soft shell crab in the Bao Buns could have had less batter and fried for a lesser amount of time. The Roti Canai curry chicken should not have used chicken breast. We were visiting family for the holidays and they said we had to try this place. This restaurant has amazing food and given our daughter only eats American food I was happy to see a few choices for selective children. I started with the beef bun appetizer that I could have made a full meal out of, it was not spicy, the beef was top quality and highly flavorful. My main course was the Massaman Curry which at many places is a yellowish / gold sauce typically with chicken. At Grub it was made with beef and the sauce was a light brown and so delicious. The quality of the beef was incredible, it easily broke apart with a fork and melted in my mouth. There were so many dessert choices and most of them are home-made; I tried two..! I had the coconut flan that is a must try and we ordered the mango sticky rice since the mangos were in season. This had to be one of the best sticky rice desserts I've had and I have traveled to Southeast Asia frequently over the past 15 years. The ambiance is decent which is great for those who prefer a very casual dining atmosphere. The food came out fast and "as it was ready". This is a style that some people may not be accustomed to though having traveled globally I've seen many places do this. I think this is also done because in many cultures they share all the food ordered so having it come out as it is prepared just makes sense. read more

My husband loved the Thai wings and beef sliders. Also tried the drunken flat noodles with chicken, delicious! The coconut juice is refreshing and a must try! My favorite is the Roti Canai with a side of coconut jasmine rice. It's absolutely delicious! All the food is freshly made and cooked to order. Since everything is made to order, there can be a wait for your food, but it's well worth it! This is the first restaurant I've been to where I've enjoyed every single dish I've ordered.
