    peanut butter noodle
    Cindy L.

I really enjoyed everything I had here, there were a couple notes I have but overall great experience! The peanut butter noodles were SO GOOD. Such an amazing savory sauce that could've actually had a little bit more peanut butter flavor but I also really liked the flavor it ended up being. The beef soup dumplings were SO flavorful. Even more flavorful than some of the pork soup dumplings I've had. My only gripe was that the dumpling dough itself was definitely thicker than most, its whats inside that counts, right? I also really liked the drink I got and loved that it had chunks of fruit in the bottom. Lovely fruity flavor. The servers were also all really nice, just unfortunately the place was very small and VERY busy both in the eat-in area and for takeout/delivery orders. There were people waiting for their online orders for a long time and it definitely impacted the wait for our food, so I would rethink going during peak times when you're in a rush but if you're chilling and don't worry about that, it's fine! They just need more kitchen staff probably. They're also only in their first year being open so hopefully they learn as they go!

Soup dumplings are so bomb! a bit pricey compared to ones you can find in NYC, but its honestly worth it! The chicken wings (soy garlic) are also good and it has the best crunch/flavor to it! The boba teas are also really good and made fresh

Place is tiny so I ordered pork dumplings to go. The dumplings were a bit on the expensive side but very good. Glad I got them.

    Vegetable ramen with tofu: DELISH!

What a gem! The pork soup dumplings are AMAZING! All the ingredients are super fresh with less salt and sugar. The vibe is cozy, yet inviting. Rosa, our server was kind, courteous, and attentive. The portions are quite large which is great for leftovers.

Had the pork and crab soup dumplings and the vegetable ramen both were excellent. Glad to have a soup dumpling spot here

New City, NY - whether the spelling's an unfortunate typo or an intentional SEO-optimized…read moremarketing gimmick, Sarkura saves you a trip to the mall food court if you have a hankerin' for quick service teppanyaki, often my preferred fast food alternative at the zombie emporium. The formula is reassuringly simple: pick your starch base (rice or noodles), your protein (chicken/beef/shrimp/salmon/tofu), add the veggie medley, and a signature teriyaki sauce ties it all together. Is it actually all that healthy? Probably not. Does it hit every tier of the food pyramid? Technically yes, if you throw in a cheese wonton. The meat portion is not as heaping as in the pre-recession/inflation days so the protein-to-rice ratio now requires an intervention. I routinely order an extra portion of meat and request extra sauce, so the more loaded platter can theoretically feed two. But who am I kidding! The food is always freshly cooked and hot, and while there is plenty of seating inside, the place runs primarily as a takeout operation, so ambiance is non-existent and not the reason you came here anyway. There's a small and largely uninspired sushi menu with some basic rolls which the sushi snob in me won't deign to touch, but ticks the compulsory "Japanese" box of faux authenticity. Ultimately, if you're like me and could eat some variation of chicken & rice every day without complaint, Sarkura consistently and dependably delivers, and is always satisfying.

This Asian fusion spot in a nondescript plaza has a large menu with a lot of small plates/street food, baos (with varying fillings), tacos/quesadillas/tostadas, curry, traditional Asian dishes, poutine, burgers, noodles like pad thai and plenty of veg-friendly items. We most enjoyed the chicken empanadas (generous filling, good flavor), cod tacos, and vegetarian spring rolls. The tofu lettuce wrap didn't have a strong flavor even though it seemed to have a lot of sauce. The beef Jerky (a bit tough and chewy) and vegetarian dumplings were okay, but not favorite items. We didn't order any items that were larger portion and it's very easy to rack up the bill with $9-12 small bites. Inside, you could forget that you're in suburbia because this place is pretty trendy. There's artwork and words on the wall and the menu tries to be clever (succeeds in some ways but not necessarily to grammar snobs). There's a 3% surcharge for credit card purchases. There's a Chinese food restaurant and Taimoca coffee place in the plaza as well.

We sat out in the patio which was by the parking lot so the view wasn't awesome but it was a beautiful morning in general. Def spacious inside and plenty of parking. Ordered a few things, the papaya salad was delicious, exactly how I used to have them with the perfect amount of sour from the lime and sweetness and spicy. The pork sticky rice? Add some hot sauce to it? Yeah it def hit the spot. Egg rolls from the vermicelli noodles were nicely seasoned and crispy. The fried fish, my god it was made PERFECTLY! The lemongrass noodle was def different but it somehow worked with the stew likeness. The rainbow drink is a tad creamy and sweet, hard to explain the texture but it was a nostalgic moment for me. We also had the homemade Tapioca pandan jello cubes? DUDE it was so hot and fresh, I felt a tingle as I was eating them! Haha PLEASE TRY THEM! Sad I didn't order more to go.

The summer rolls were refreshing and thankfully only had a small amount of Thai basil, as I find it to be too strong for my taste. The peanut sauce tasted more citrusy than like peanuts, but it was so tasty. You get two rolls cut in half and it is very big, I could only finish one roll. The whole reason I came was because I was craving pho, and it really hit the spot. The pho came preassembled and I wasn't able to add my own lime, but the ratio of everything was perfect so I didn't mind. The broth was a little cloudy but it was so delicious. The servings were big so I ended up taking about half of my bowl home. It didn't taste as good reheated but that's to be expected. The service was very kind and attentive, and their Thai tea is very yummy. They don't take tap so make sure you bring your physical card! They have a whole private parking lot, and you can enter through the front or the back deck.

First impression walking in, the place is beatifully decorated. It is tasteful and elegant yet inviting and family friendly. My first stop was to the restroom and I gotta say, the place looked spotless which gives you a sense of confidence in the cleanliness of the environment. I also noticed that it is a very large and open space which would be a perfect venue to celebrate any occasion as a big group. When I walked in I noticed that it was a lively and warm ambiace tha makes you feel comfortable to be there. The food: The food was great! Very tasty and fresh. I had the big boy burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious and tho I knew it included jalapeños, I was surprised at how spicy it was. When I looked, it had big pieces of jalapeños w some seeds. No wonder it was too hot, not the jar jalapeños. I took some of it out and enjoyed the whole thing. I didn't finish my fries because they were soggy. No crunch at all. My date on the other hand, ordered a churrasco with yuca fries. The bartender messed up his order and brought him what is called "Portuguesa Churrascaria" which includes grilled skirt steak, pork chop, chicken, and chorizo with moro rice and sweet plantains. Tho it was not what he ordered, he was glad they served him that. It was delicious. It was nicely seasoned, nicely plated and overall very satisfying. Big serving! The yuca fries was dissapointing as I was expecting more of the typical latin crunchy yuca fries where it is first boiled and then fried. This was more like yuca puree, breaded and fried...think mozzarella sticks. Overall this place is worth visiting. Bring your date, bring your friends, bring yo mama, bring your kids, impress your clients...whatever! just visit, you wont regret it. Staff, very friendly and attentive and Plenty of free parking outside!
