Typical Chinese Take-Out from the outside, with typical service, but I did notice the high heat/intense flames on large woks on the inside and I definitely tasted this in the fried rice... Delicious! Prices are affordable, portions are large, and taste was 5 star worthy for the General Tso's Combination Dinner. Combination number 15. :) I'm craving that dinner I ordered right now, and if they weren't over 3 hours away from me, I would be picking up the phone and ordering it for dinner tonight. Well done Good Taste Chinese Restaurant! The taste was actually Great and Memorable. February 15, 2026.

We usually get food delivered and it arrives on time or sometimes earlier than promised, is always hot and very tasty. They will customize any order. They do have bottled soda but the selection is somewhat limited. They accept credit cards over the phone and yes they do add a % for using a card. Staff is very friendly. Place inside is nothing to write home about (it's a takeout place) but it is very clean which is more important than how it's decorated.

I will say, I think they best egg drop soup, I mean instead of small strains of eggs, they had fully chucks that were amount like size of small noodles, the broth was good too. Beef on steak, man so tender more so then most, plus well seasoned without bathing it sauce. The young chow fried rice, I felt price of it was super fair when other places will sell a small of that for over $8. The rice was good, plenty of seafood so it felt packed and generous. Worth a trip to stop by.

This was our third restaurant order in our new home, so we're still checking what's available in…read morethe neighborhood. First place was Indian food, and we loved it. Next was Mexican, and it was okay. With Hong Kong Kitchen, maybe we were too cautious in our ordering, and that's why we wound up with really tame, almost bland food. We'll order from them again, see if our choices were at fault. Perhaps the problem is that we are used to some pretty good vegan Asian food in Brooklyn, and maybe there's just nothing that will measure up to that here (in our budget). I sincerely hope not. My main gripe was the cashew chicken. First, I know it's an American Chinese recipe, and it can have all sorts of vegetables in it, but this is one of my comfort-food dishes, and we are so busy unpacking, I was really looking forward to this. But HKK's version was pretty much nothing but carrots, chicken, and cashews. Rather, it was CARROTS, chicken, and cashews. I can eat some carrots in my food, of course, but honestly, at heart, I don't like them very much. It was awful. I had to pick most all of them out, which left me with less than half an order, and it all still tasted like carrots. (My preferred version is celery, chicken, and cashews, with not much else.). The bean curd dishes were okay but nothing special. After we added some chili sauce (ours, not theirs), it was okay, but still nothing much. As I write this, I'm thinking maybe we won't order from them again. When I started this review, I'd forgotten about the carrots. Yech.
