More of a 31/2 Dumplings were good and so was the 2 soups. General Tso shrimp was way too much breading around it and Mongolian beeb good but too much onions read more

Food was freshly made and very tasty. Large portions for a lunch order. Wonderful staff owners, so friendly. read more

Best soup in all of Rockland! The chicken noodle soup is amazing and a must try. The fresh noodles and tasty broth really make this place stand out. read more

Food is good but highly overpriced and they choose who to be nice to, bad costumer service.

It's always a wonderful experience when the principals prepare the meal! However, when the non-principals take over, there can sometimes be a difference in consistency, which unfortunately makes the meal less enjoyable. I truly empathize with the owners during this challenging time. Since their previous cook left before the pandemic, it seems there have been some ups and downs in the quality of the meals, and I know that can be tough for everyone involved. read more

I really love this Chinese restaurant!! The staff is so nice and the food is DELICIOUS!!!! Amazing menu, portions, the sauces are so tasty. The staff prepares the food quickly and gives you service with a smile. I love this restaurant you must try! read more

Best Chinese takeout . Don't let it's appearance fool you, the food is top notch. Portions are generous, and shrimps huge. I average once a week and are never disappointed. Make sure you call ahead read more

I have been coming here for years despite that their prices have increased and are somewhat pricey for Chinese takeout. Despite this, I called ahead and placed an order at roughly 7:05 pm. They told me that my order of two combination dinners and a third dish would be ready in a half an hour. I show up at 735 or so and they tell me a few minutes. Fine. I waited almost interminably and they finally finished my order at around 805 or so. An entire hour to wait for takeout? Unacceptable. Might have been acceptable if they told me an hour. The shame is here is that their food is good but perhaps not good enough for how long I had to wait. Long time customer probably won't be back. read more

One of the best Chinese food places ever. I ordered the family meal plan and it's a great value for the price. The food is delicious and portions are big. read more

Ribs. Get the ribs. Egg rolls are not bad either. Love the man and woman who work there. Warm and generous

Food has great flavor Above average service Above average food taste Prices are normal for Chinese take out Faster delivery than other places Highly recommend- they do charge for extra sauces but it's worth the price. The food presentation is very nicely done!! read more

I order food December 23rd 2022. I got a case of food poisoning from the food. I was sick for 2 days. It was my first and last time ordering. read more

Ordered "beef with garlic sauce" from here. They sent me only broccoli. After i called wen i received the wrong order, they said we ordered broccoli but our receipt says beef with garlic sauce and we payed for beef with garlic sauce. I didnt know people only ordered broccoli. Also they didnt even check over the receipt clearly cause they even put beef with garlic sauce on the receipt. I wouldnt order from here because of this. Regardless of if the food is bad or good, they are scammers. read more

We ordered food from here while at a job. This is my 2nd time ordering from here . The steamed dumplings are great and if not for these being burnt they would have been great as well. Where my problem lies , however, is with there customer service. I called the restaurant to inform them about the quality and with no consideration to what I was saying she kept insisting that it's not burnt that's just crispy and that is how dumplings are. Interestingly enough they tried to hide the burnt side and kept the "crispy non burnt side" upward. read more

Shen Wang - Burnt dumplings - Chinese Near Me - New City, New York

This I by far the best Asian food I've had in Rockland County. Eat in, Take out or delivery anyway you cant go wrong. Very fresh and affordable. Great people as well. I eat here or from multiple times each week read more

We have ordered take out multiple times. The Lo Mien is especially good but all the dishes have been delicious.

I would give zero stars if I could. A Chinese takeout should know that Christmas is their busiest day of the year. When you call to place an order and ask how long it will take, don't lie and say 30 minutes. I just waited over an hour at the location waiting for my order after waiting at home for 30 minutes. You should tell your customers how long it will be honestly and then let your customer decide if the wait is reasonable. After wasting an hour and a half , I told them to cancel my order and refund my money. They were eager to give me my money back. That tells me they hadn't even started my order. Shen Wang is one take out restaurant I will never go back to and hope you never waster your time there either. read more

Reeeeeally good american Chinese food. I'm a bit of general tso's conosiur, and let me tell you - this is some of the best I have ever had. Nice and crispy chicken, good balance of sweet and spicy sauce, not too syrupy and thick and the broccoli is cooked just right. Delivery guy was also really nice. My new go to for Chinese delivery. read more

I've been going here (occasionally) for 15+ years and figured I should finally share my thoughts. This is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in Rockland. You will almost always have to wait a bit for your food, but I've never regretted the wait after I've eaten. The owners are kind and seem genuine about giving you food you'll like. Personal favorites from this place are wanton soup, house special mai fun, and beef sticks. read more

Really good food! If you are ordering from takeout then be prepared to wait like 1 hour. The wait was ridiculous and Idk if you were lost you should have called us and said it would b a little wait... I had ordered online and it said the total was like $21.35 or something and on the recipe it was $18.65 I was very upset with that.... please do not think of ordering online... ~rose read more

Called to place an order for pickup. I wanted a combination of chicken an shrimp. She said I would have to pay $1.75 for each additional shrimp!!! Are you kidding me! Not good customer service if you ask me! It would have been an additional $10.50 for 6 shrimp. That is more than the cost of an additional order! Ended up ordering from First Wok instead. read more

There is no takeout Chinese place that equals the quality of Shen Wang. Family owned and friendly, the food here even equals what is found at an excellent restaurant, which for this type of cuisine isn't easily found. Nothing like this place for the best Chinese food around! read more

I love their food but every time I order nothing is ready. I can't wait half an hour for something to be ready and wait another ten when I get there. I did an online order this time around today and they had to ask me all the details of my order because they didn't bother to look at what I placed nor made it. I get the dish and they give me the white rice I asked for (diet comes with brown), yet added vegetables I specifically asked to not have. tofu with baby corn, broccoli, and mushroom only doesn't entail adding tons of snow peas and green peppers. I was going to settle but prefer more tofu than a pile of green peppers I'm just going to toss aside; good thing I checked in the car. I don't have these problems anywhere else. I came back and ordered a wonton soup while I waited for the dish to be corrected.. it's very good food, just incredibly sloppy service. you sadly need a lot of patience and time. I've been coming here since middle school, I'm twenty six now. again, I would just tidy up receiving orders and completing them on time. read more

My new favorite Chinese food spot. Their lo mein and chicken and broccoli are not great, but just about everything else is. My favorites are their boneless BBQ ribs, dumplings, and Mongolian beef. I greatly appreciate the fact that you can order online; it makes me life and slight social anxiety easier to deal with. I never really had a problem with them! read more

This is my favorite Chinese food establishment in the area. They're facilities are clean, their staff is friendly and their food is good!

I have never had delivery Chinese food (or sit-in) that was so beautifully presented AND delicious. I ordered the coconut shrimp, which is out of this world, and came with broccoli that was delicious. I also ordered crab rangoons, which came with a side of pineapple, pickle slices and cherry tomatoes. Very random, but appreciated! Their delivery containers are compartmentalized so everything stays attractive and organized, which I have never seen before. Would recommend to ANYONE in the area! I do believe they have a $20 minimum, but it's incredibly worth it! read more

I can't say enough about how my family & I love going to Shen Wang!! We are never disappointed each time we go!! The food always fresh & delicious. We loved them before...and now even more during these crazy pandemic days. Beyond happy they opened up again! read more

Placed a dinner order. Waited 30 mins at home because they are usually slow. When I arrived about 45 mins later, order wasn't ready. Waited additional 15 minutes. When I got home 1 order was missing. When I called, they didnt want to refund "over the phone" I asked if they could deliver and they said that it was to far and I should come pick up the order. After going back and fourth I had no choice but to go back. When I got there the order wasn't ready. When I got back home, all the food that what previously picked up was cold. They screwed up, they should own it and deliver. Happy to sy that this will be my last visit. I have many friends and neighbors in Nyack. I will spread the word read more

The worst. Great presentation of overpriced food. Pickles, blue cheese and ginger included? Really? Why? Go here if you want trendy looking pseudo Chinese takeout that tastes like no other Chinese food around. If you just want the comfort of normal Chinese go anywhere else read more

Moved back to New City recently and walked in to this place for first time tonight and ordered something very basic -- small takeout order of Shrimp Lo Mein. Waited a good 15 minutes for order -- not sure why since they weren't cooking anything else. Worst SLM I've ever had -- VERY greasy, the few shrimp in the dish were tough and some had shells on the tail stem, and the dish had a funky, strange taste. Threw it out after four or five bites. Never again. read more

The couple who own the place are friendly, the food is excellent and freshly made. Fresh produce always. The taste is consistent and quantities are generous. The greasy stink in typical Chinese take out place is missing (perfect!) food is yum, always piping hot and I have never had a messed up order. Love this place! Our go to place for Chinese. read more

The WORST Chinese food ever! Ordered a lunch portion of shrimp and broccoli for $7.00. What I got was a greasy, oily laden mess with four small shrimp that looked like they were first deep fried and then sauteed in a tasteless gooey sauce. Tiny broccoli tidbits under cooked and swimming in sea of oily sauce. Had to chuck the entire thing as it was inedible. Save you money and go elsewhere. read more

Just got take out tonight 12-23-2016. TERRIBLE YUCK!! Chicken was not cooked, soggy, and no meat in wanton soup and tasteless. Threw everything out!! I would order from another place not this one. read more

This is my second time eating here. The first time was 4 years ago. I wasn't impressed the first time but I honestly can't find a Chinese restaurant in Rockland that I love and this place is very close to my house. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. The chicken was awkwardly cut very small. There was a hair in dish. Game over. Threw the whole meal out. I will NOT be going back. read more
