However, when the non-principals take over, there can sometimes be a difference in consistency, which unfortunately makes the meal less enjoyable. I have been coming here for years despite that their prices have increased and are somewhat pricey for Chinese takeout. Despite this, I called ahead and placed an order at roughly 7:05 pm. They told me that my order of two combination dinners and a third dish would be ready in a half an hour. I show up at 735 or so and they tell me a few minutes. Fine. I waited almost interminably and they finally finished my order at around 805 or so. An entire hour to wait for takeout? Unacceptable. Might have been acceptable if they told me an hour. The shame is here is that their food is good but perhaps not good enough for how long I had to wait. Long time customer probably won't be back. read more

Ordered "beef with garlic sauce" from here. They sent me only broccoli. After i called wen i received the wrong order, they said we ordered broccoli but our receipt says beef with garlic sauce and we payed for beef with garlic sauce. I didnt know people only ordered broccoli. Also they didnt even check over the receipt clearly cause they even put beef with garlic sauce on the receipt. I wouldnt order from here because of this. We ordered food from here while at a job. This is my 2nd time ordering from here . The steamed dumplings are great and if not for these being burnt they would have been great as well. Where my problem lies , however, is with there customer service. I called the restaurant to inform them about the quality and with no consideration to what I was saying she kept insisting that it's not burnt that's just crispy and that is how dumplings are. I would give zero stars if I could. A Chinese takeout should know that Christmas is their busiest day of the year. When you call to place an order and ask how long it will take, don't lie and say 30 minutes. I just waited over an hour at the location waiting for my order after waiting at home for 30 minutes. You should tell your customers how long it will be honestly and then let your customer decide if the wait is reasonable. After wasting an hour and a half , I told them to cancel my order and refund my money. They were eager to give me my money back. That tells me they hadn't even started my order. Shen Wang is one take out restaurant I will never go back to and hope you never waster your time there either. read more

Reeeeeally good american Chinese food. I'm a bit of general tso's conosiur, and let me tell you - this is some of the best I have ever had. Nice and crispy chicken, good balance of sweet and spicy sauce, not too syrupy and thick and the broccoli is cooked just right. Delivery guy was also really nice. I love their food but every time I order nothing is ready. I can't wait half an hour for something to be ready and wait another ten when I get there. I did an online order this time around today and they had to ask me all the details of my order because they didn't bother to look at what I placed nor made it. I get the dish and they give me the white rice I asked for (diet comes with brown), yet added vegetables I specifically asked to not have. tofu with baby corn, broccoli, and mushroom only doesn't entail adding tons of snow peas and green peppers. I was going to settle but prefer more tofu than a pile of green peppers I'm just going to toss aside; good thing I checked in the car. I don't have these problems anywhere else. I came back and ordered a wonton soup while I waited for the dish to be corrected.. it's very good food, just incredibly sloppy service. you sadly need a lot of patience and time. Placed a dinner order. Waited 30 mins at home because they are usually slow. When I arrived about 45 mins later, order wasn't ready. Waited additional 15 minutes. When I got home 1 order was missing. When I called, they didnt want to refund "over the phone" I asked if they could deliver and they said that it was to far and I should come pick up the order. After going back and fourth I had no choice but to go back. When I got there the order wasn't ready. When I got back home, all the food that what previously picked up was cold. They screwed up, they should own it and deliver. Happy to sy that this will be my last visit. I have many friends and neighbors in Nyack. I will spread the word read more

I have never had delivery Chinese food (or sit-in) that was so beautifully presented AND delicious. I ordered the coconut shrimp, which is out of this world, and came with broccoli that was delicious. I also ordered crab rangoons, which came with a side of pineapple, pickle slices and cherry tomatoes. Very random, but appreciated! Their delivery containers are compartmentalized so everything stays attractive and organized, which I have never seen before. Would recommend to ANYONE in the area! Waited a good 15 minutes for order -- not sure why since they weren't cooking anything else. Worst SLM I've ever had -- VERY greasy, the few shrimp in the dish were tough and some had shells on the tail stem, and the dish had a funky, strange taste. Threw it out after four or five bites. The WORST Chinese food ever! Ordered a lunch portion of shrimp and broccoli for $7.00. What I got was a greasy, oily laden mess with four small shrimp that looked like they were first deep fried and then sauteed in a tasteless gooey sauce.
