Very pleased - food and service here are great. Correct me if I'm wrong.. but this is Korean restaurant that happens to also have great sushi options? Good deal! I had fried dumplings that were top notch, followed by Kimchi Udon. Damn that was good! Spicy too! Will definitely return!

We got takeout from here and it was great! I ordered online & it said it would be ready in 40 mins, but we arrived after 20mins & everything was ready. Everything was so thoughtfully packaged too. We got the Christmas roll, matrix roll, Cali roll, spicy tuna roll & chicken fried rice. Our favorite was the Christmas roll. The fried rice was a little under-seasoned, it was still good, I just don't normally add soy sauce & I feel like it needed it. There were big chunks of chicken too, it looked like thigh meat, the quality was good too it wasn't your typical foamy mystery meat that sometimes comes in fried rice. We were also pleasantly surprised by the Korean pickled/marinated veggie sides they included. Also, our fried rice came with miso soup which was very good. Too much food for 2 people (not a bad thing!), they even gave us 3 chopsticks & plastic ware probably assuming this was for more people. Lol. We'll definitely be back!

    Bibimbap. Sooooo good

Sushi and Kimchi is a fairly new gem in this town. It is located in a strip mall with lots of parking. The service was excellent and our server was very attentive to our needs. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. My family and I came here on a Sunday night for dinner and we had a great time. They had a great selection of cold sake and beers. We also got a few orders or their hot sake. We got the assorted sashimi platter and sushi special for a group of 5 and were pretty full. They gave us free edamame and homemade dumplings on the house. They also gave us Korean side dishes such as kimchi and fish cakes. Their sushi was fresh and good portions. Aside from the sushi, I enjoyed their Korean spicy beef soup and bibimbap. I will definitely be back for their Korean dishes and to try their special rolls.

    So many sides!

We had been there been there before but we got take out today . The owner was so nice and quickly got our order in. Our order came with all the sides as you would get for dine in. We love this place for so many things! I love the fact they have Korean and Japanese on their menu. I got avocado rolls which never disappoint. I got the soon tofu soup which was full of flavors. Despite its spiciness it was banging . My husband had a bunch of rolls which were served with a beautiful orchid.

Our hostess was phenomenal! Very welcoming, friendly and even struck up a nice conversation. The sushi was amazing, we got the Crazy, Spicy Rainbow, and the OMG Roll and each was better than the last! Even the simple yellowtail roll was taken that tiny bit further with scallions added into it. The meal came with complimentary Miso soup, some kind of pickled cucumber, pickle radish, potato salad and kimchi. Service was speedy and the whole experience, and it is an experience, was just great overall. Thank you for the amazing meal!

We went for the signature option which includes a limited amount of Japanese A5 Wagyu ribeye (8oz per person), so it's not really all you can eat. The signature set also allows you to get everything from the lower tiers, which includes lobster tail (1 per person), snow crab clusters (1 per person), and U.S. Wagyu options (unlimited for Signature). All these limits make it seems like it's not really all you can eat lol. There are plenty of options that are unlimited though, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is also very nice, but the service was lacking. I ordered the Ikura (salmon roe) nigiri, and the waiter told me that Ikura is not normal salmon. I asked him to elaborate and he said that they are salmon seeds, not actual salmon. Seeds made me think this was some plant based/vegan sushi, but then he said "the seeds baby salmon come from". I laughed and asked if he meant that salmon roe are salmon eggs and he said yes. They also run a birthday promotion, where you can get $39.50 off of your bill, as long as you come in 7 days before or after your birthday, which we clarified with the hostess. My birthday was on 5/1. We were dining on 5/8. Apparently 5/8 is not 7 days after 5/1. I'd have given them a higher rating, but them not honoring their birthday promotion was annoying. The Japanese Wagyu was also not as good quality as other places I've been to, but that's likely because this is an AYCE place and the other places were not.

The menu looked amazing and we're excited but we're worried we weren't dressed appropriately, Caroline insured us we woke fit in just fine. I personally love to dine at the bar when possible especially with a great bartender like Izzy. We were the first ones there by accident which can feel funny but Izzy was so warm and welcoming and very eager to meet us and tell us about the epic menu and the show stopping desserts. We told Izzy our drink preferences and he nailed it each drink. We started with a dozen oysters that were incredible and shocked perfectly. Then followed that with the bone marrow which had a tasteful amount of chimichurri sauce and a side of crunchy salt to use for your liking. It was delicious! We were temped to next get the octopus but needed room for the "bar only specials" which is a brilliant idea very unique. It was a wagu blend cheese burger with arugula and a delicious black garlic spread and perfectly cooked fries. Perfect for sharing! A dinner isn't complete without an espresso martini! I highly recommend this place to any food enthusiast and fan of wine, spirits and excellent desserts. Lastly the decor was also amazing. The chef's not only designs top notch desserts he also did the wood work art along the bar. I also loved the pictures of all the people in the back of the restaurant over the course of there decades of business. Lastly the history is incredible it use to be the village hall and jailhouse! They incorporated the jail into a wine cellar that seats two people for a fun drink before or after dinner. Highly give this place a 10 out of 10 for excellent food, drink, service and vibes! The care and detail in everything presented to the diner are so thoughtful. The drinks deserve just as much praise and are beautifully crafted. If you're lucky enough to visit on a night when Izzy is behind the bar, consider yourself fortunate. He's not only a "DJ" of cocktails, but warm, friendly, and fun to be around. Honestly, sitting at the bar is just as good as, if not better than, a seat in the dining room. We travel from Manhattan just to come here, and Hudson House never disappoints. Sorry, I mean the Cuomo bridge, lol. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was pretty empty. There were several high tops with a bridge view right next to the door. Can you say brrrrr? In hindsight the best bet is to sit at the bar for your meal as then both can enjoy the view of the Hudson as sitting at the high tops offers only one person to enjoy the view while the others back is at the window. Service: Very attentive. We decided to eat in their dining room which is small, but warm. Think maybe 20 to 25 people with no view as it is in the back of the restaurant. Our waiter made sure that we had our drinks and water. Food Appetizers: We started with a combination of oysters from both the west and east coast. Both were very fresh and were excellent with the accompanying mignonette and cocktail sauce served over a platter of crushed ice. Throw in a lobster cocktail and life was good! Main Courses: My wife ordered the PEI Mussels. Being the great Italian chef that she is, I consider her the expert on tomato based seafood. She gave both the mussels and broth a two thumbs up. Throw in their house made warm salted pizza dough bread and you are good to go to soak up the luscious broth. The double stack burger... Sorry, but just OK It was overdone and pretty dry. I was psyched for the accompanying homemade pickles as stated in the menu, which turned out to be a single quarter spear of a possible Vlasic supermarket pickle. Nothing you would put on a burger. Fries? Nothing to write home about. Final conclusion: I am sure this place is absolutely nuts during the summer due to the view. Service was great. Seafood good and the burger? Meh.

The desert took forever to come out (though we put it through with like 3 different staff) so the restaurant comped it at the end, which we appreciated. The scallop salad was just okay, and it had bacon in it, which was a bit off-putting. The pizza Margherita was fresh and I really enjoyed my harvest autumn salad with a very recent amount of grilled gulf shrimp for protein. YUM. Highly recommend the Goat (Cheese) Brûlée.
