BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH. I contacted Gresham Toyota about purchasing a new Toyota RAV4. They sent me a quote for a vehicle and a link to their site with the description and photos. I then picked up the phone and talked with Tony a sales rep to confirm the trim package and negotiate a price. Once we agreed he sent me a written quote and I headed down there to buy the car....simple, or so I thought. When I arrived there was a RAV4 waiting for us to test drive but it WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CAR! It had a much lower level trim package with no sunroof and no heated seats etc... I brought this to Tony's attention and even showed him the photos of the sunroof and other features he sent me from their site. He said they would try to make it right. That's when a "manager" came out and said he was sorry it was a mistake and they could not do anything about it. When I asked to speak with a general manager I was directed to their "sales manager" Josh Wilcox who told me there was nothing he was going to do and "we are done here". Then he threatened to call the cops and have me escorted off property! I could not believe what I was hearing. I have purchased new Toyotas from Beaverton Toyota and Gladstone Toyota with ZERO issues. Never this sleazy bait and switch ploy or rude and aggressive behavior by the sales staff. I am weighing my options. They still have an ad for the same car with the photos of a totally different car on their website. I am going to submit a complaint with the AG and also FCC for deceptive advertising. Would not want anyone else to go through what I had to deal with. read more

I called gresham toyota to check on a truck I had seen on their web site Michelle Keller answered and answered all my questions very nicely she also said it had just been brought in and did not know if someone had bought it or was in thhe process. recommended I come in early the next day and she would call me if someone had purchased it, she did not call so we left Fishhawk Lake near Astoria at 7AM to get there, we got there a little after 9AM Michelle was waiting for us and had the truck set aside so we could check it out still answering all my questions we decided to buy it for my grandson whom we had picked up in Sandy to come with us and gave his OK to buy it. We filled out all the forms with Michelle and Izzy Quiroz the finance manager both of them were very helpful and continued answering my questions and my grandson's. When i was answering to fill out our forms I mixed out the first two #'s for my social security!! I'm 86 years old got the rest right!! Izzy said I could get home retrieve my ss card from my safe and take pictures front and back he gave us his business card with his cell #! I paid $10,000.00 down and my grandson drove the truck home in Sandy.. We got home I retrieved my card took pictures and send them to IZZY all is well.. My grandson said the key would not work to lock the tailgate. I called Michelle she said to have my grandson call her and they would correct the problem. Loved the service I got while in the store trying to purchase my car however the follow through with information is terrible. I have had to contact the office on multiple different occasions and have not gotten a return call. if my friend did not work previously at a Toyota I would not have known where I go to make my car payments or anything. Today I got notification from the credit bureu that my credit has had 6 NEW inquiries ran and it has dinged my credit down and looks terrible, I get if I make my payments on time my credit will boost back up but 6 times is not necessary to my understanding. Worst customer service I've had in years! Took 9 hours from start to finish for new brake pads, oil change, and tire rotation. Little to no communication about why it was taking longer and the manager brought up an analogy about paying at a restaurant that didn't make any sense while waiting for us to make a payment. Do not recommend to anyone and will be going elsewhere for repair services! read more
