My husband spent an entire week working with them via phone and text to avoid wasting anyone's time. They had our credit info, our budget, and our trade-in details. They assured us the deal was exactly where we wanted it and told us to come down. The moment we arrived, the "pre-negotiated" deal vanished. Suddenly, the down payment was much higher, and the monthly payments were 2-3 times what we had agreed upon. When we held our ground, the salesperson actually said, "If you're just looking to get into a car... let's look at something else." We weren't looking to "just get a car"--we already have one. They clearly assumed that because our current car needed repairs, we were desperate and could be swindled into a bad deal. If you are looking for an honest, transparent sales process, go elsewhere. We had a much better experience at Dick Hannah Kia in Vancouver. This dealership wasted our time and used predatory tactics that would have easily fooled someone less experienced. Great , honest dealership! We bought a one year old 2017 Nissan Titan Truck in 2018. Together we negotiated a great price and bank loan to meet our needs. I normally don't buy extended warranties because there always seems to be a loop hole when a problem arises, but glad I did. Turns out in 2024 a cylinder wasn't working in the engine and we needed a brand new engine! I was prepared to hear it was not covered, especially since it was a $10,000.00 Job and we moved out of state. Slow, incompetent mechanics, charged for non-performed services, didn't even charge the battery before supposedly running charging system tests, no "loaner" cars for service timeline, kept the car for three days costing me $150 for a rental car, and another $200 for an oil change and a bunch of excuses along with unverified test reporting, which was all that was accomplished in the three days pathetic "circus act" charade. Update on my 2018 Kia Soul. Well after 1500 dollars and 2 car rentals later my Kia is using oil again. I was told I was good to go and it would not be covered under the Kia warranty.. they made no effort, (despite repeated requests) to submit paperwork to my extended warranty company. I bought a new car a few days ago. It started off great the salesman was very helpful & attentive. I was taking videos of various vehicles for my business partner to see if it was enough seats & trunk space. I didn't really love any of the couple choices they had & I told him that. The salesman said how great & overly caring that kia location is & he's been there over 20 years, knows the owner sons etc. He seemed really genuine & trustworthy. He said 10 years they've car is covered & I "wouldn't have to worry about anything." The "sale" took longer than Id ever experienced (I also have a new Mercedes & Nissan & both were a quicker, less stressful experience) their "system was down" so they stalled, it'd been a long day, I was starving, it was late & I feel somewhat preyed upon (a young lady there alone not in the best mindset). Regardless, He said 10 years they've car is covered & I "wouldn't have to worry about anything." He told me even though the system was down I had to drive the new Kia off the lot that night & not my own (to make sure it was a done deal). It was also before I was informed by financing what the ten year no worries warranty meant. The financing guy kept saying how newer cars are safer but can be a headache, have over 50 computer like compartments in them & a little error can be a big fix. He then tried to sell me an upgraded warranty because the 10 year "no worries" warranty doesn't cover any of that technology/more common an issue than not problems. I was appalled. Even Mercedes told me prior to signing what their basic protection covers & made no typical salesman false promises. They do have you sign a paper that says no one promised anything. I do have videos where I was told a 10 year no worries when you get a car from them they "really take care of their customers like I've never seen anywhere else do that's why I've been here 21 years" he also said if I gave a 5 star review he'd make sure I got 2 years free oil changes. I don't care about having my oil covered I care about the false selling & how difficult the sale was anyway with unnecessary high tec nonsense that made me come back a second day where I was notified I'd already taken the care off the lot (because I was told to prior to signing all papers) & also informed that 10 year blah blah blah doesn't cover a very important, very common issue in newer cars. I am sooo disappointed by them & will never again. Their bigger cars/more passenger vehicles have terrible trunk space also & a Suburban or Yukon would have been a lot better buy but they got me with that 10 year no worries false promises. read more

Paperwork was done quickly and I was advised that they could also do the free warranty service if I had the time. I did but had planned on waiting. Service manager pointed out that the courtesy van could take me home and pick me up again. Once home, I got a call an hour later to say everything was complete. Van driver was at my door in 15 minutes and I was back at the dealership, paid for the service and on my way before noon. As a Black woman buying a car on my own I thought I knew what to expect but I was completely shocked when Michael treated me with respect. I booked an appointment for service on their website because they refused to answer their phone. I arrived at the service department this morning and was told I had no appointment. The guy behind the counter scheduled me for the following Saturday but I will not return. Since Chris left the service department has noticeably declined. I have taken note of the many negative reviews on Yelp over the past year. So sad to realize that this business cannot sustain a standard of excellence which gave me such confidence in the past. Management needs to note these failures and address their customers concerns. A dealership is only successful after placing customer satisfaction as its first priority. Westin Kia has been a gem to the Gresham Community for many (many) years! I got my first Kia Spectra here back in 2010, and pretty much ran the wheels off of it. Such a great quality car and really got the job done. there has been a few instances where I feel like I got myself in a pickle and they made it so easy to get out of it. We came back in March of 2021 and drove away with a brand new 2021 Kia Sportage. Process was easy, and while they want you to drive away with your dream car, they make sure not to pressure you, and find you the best deal that fits your budget. I already got my first oil change and their waiting room is very relaxing and comfortable. Maybe we got lucky, but feel very blessed with being able to own a brand new car! read more

I am currently pulled over on the side of the road to write this review because I am so frustrated with them. Since the beginning, working with Kia has been a NIGHTMARE! The first time I brought my car in to get serviced, a Kia employee stole $200 worth of gift cards from my car that were going to be used to buy winter coats for children in need. Kia's response was to take me to Walmart to buy $200 worth of coats/jackets (although the gift cards were to Columbia, big difference in quality). Next, only after a month or so of buying my car (brand new 2020 Kia Soul), it stopped on the highway, leaving me in a very dangerous position. Ultimately I found out the engine had to be completely replaced. My final straw is my Kia was broken into and attempted to be stolen and the service I just received from Kia was so subpar and lazy, I could've done a better job my own self. I just came in to get my window temporarily sealed and to set an appointment for an estimate. The guy did such a terrible half a$$ed job wrapping my window, I've only made it down the street and it's already starting to come off. Very little concern or solution for the fact that Kias are being stolen all across the country. THEN I was informed that there is anti-theft software that can be installed for free, however Kia has never even thought to inform their customers of this. If I could give zero stars, I would. Update: I called in to let them know my feedback and I was informed this wrap is not even supposed to be used on cars that are being driven. The appt was at 9 and the service person told me it would be an hour and a half (which is a little to long but I needed the work done). I go inside an their internet was down so I could not work and then when 1030 rolled around they had not started on my car so I had to leave because of work. I do not think they understand what the definition of an appt. is and their lack of professional attitude about the wait was not OK. The only reason I went was because I had a free oil change. I will not go back and will pay a professional shop to do the work. Additionally, there were 3 other people just as pissed if not more pissed that the wait was 3-4 hours. read more

We purchased a 2017 Kia Sportage brand new from this dealership. It has been in the shop now for three months. The first two and a half months were just to wait and inform us that they would not honor the extended warranty that was purchased with the car. They quoted $5700 to replace the engine. Since this was less than our normal repair shop, I reluctantly agreed. One week later, they informed me that they also need to replace the entire exhaust system, for only another $4300. At that point, I wished I had our regular mechanic replace it. For an added bonus, they said it would be two more weeks before they would complete the work. I have another 12 month or 12k mile warranty which I now know is absolutely worthless. This is the second time they have held my car hostage for over three months. I write this not out of spite, but out of obligation because between the dealership and Kia corporate you have no means to obtain any level of customer service. I was prepared a year ago to buy a new Kia Sorrento. Now I will never buy another Kia and would recommend at the very least, thoroughly investigating the dealership if you do. Steve Olson, the salesperson who worked with me, was awesome. I made two separate visits to test drive the car. No pressure to close the deal on my first visit. Steve was patient and willing to answer a raft of questions about the EV6, as it's been a bit of a learning curve to purchase an electric car. He's still answering my questions two weeks later! I went to the Gresham Weston Kia this morning. I had gone in the other day to have my air conditioner/heater looked at. They told me there would be a $165.00 diagnosis fee. I left there really discouraged because I couldn't afford a diagnosis fee, but that same day Dan, the Service manager called me. He said that he wanted to give me the diagnosis for free so I was able to go in today to get it diagnosed. They found the issue quickly and had to order parts so I go back in in two weeks to get it fixed, and I so very much appreciate Dan doing that for me, and it gave me a very positive experience. Weston KIA is beyond the worst car experience I have ever had in my life. I took my car here over a month ago because it was stolen and recovered, so the ignition and radio/back up camera needed to be replaced. During this month I heard nothing back from them on an update on my car, despite leaving messages and emails. My insurance rental coverage then ended, because their policy was to cover a rental for 30 days, and having still heard nothing back from Weston KIA, I had to begin paying for a rental out of pocket. (Over $500 down the drain and out of my own wallet) After a month of no replies, I finally get one short email that they were still waiting on parts, with no list of the parts or any estimate of completion. (So it takes them over a month to get parts...ok, sus and very much want to see the receipts of these and when they were in fact ordered) After waiting one more week and again, paying for a rental out of pocket, I simply couldn't afford to wait any longer- I finally got absolutely fed up at not receiving any ETAs for when my car would actually be complete so I had a friend drive me to talk to someone in person to get actual answers and check on the status of my vehicle. All of a sudden all the parts that they were waiting for for "so long" had miraculously arrived just a couple of days ago and my car would be done in two days. (Also very suspicious my car was still in the exact same parking spot it had been when I left it there over a month ago, almost as if it hadn't been moved at all during all this time) It wasn't. Instead, I was finally called back and told that my car would be done the next day at 4pm- they ensured me this would be true. AGAIN- IT WASN'T. As of right now my KIA has been at the Weston KIA dealership for a month and two weeks. The repairs were a new ignition and radio/backup cam- and it took them OVER A MONTH to get parts. Supposedly. I cannot even explain to you how shady this place is. Don't go here, literally just save yourself the heartache of being completely lied to and ignored. Weston KIA is like if your most toxic relationship was a dealership. They promise, they'll do better next time- I promise you, they won't. Dump them and never come back. read more
