In 2013, I bought a 2000 TDI New Beetle as a means to commute to work and transport my puppy around without being overly concerned about dirt and damage. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the car and this neglected beater quickly became a restoration project. I found Bora, now Cascade, while sourcing a timing belt kit. It was clear these guys were Subject Matter Experts, and I didn't hesitate to give them all my business. In the last 10 years, I have completely replaced my suspension, clutch and flywheel, steering wheel and a host of low value wear items. I can shop here with complete confidence and my only knock is not being local. It would be great if I could drive in. At one point they also had a direct line when maid maintenance and planning easy, but it appears a large percentage of those calls were from less than serious shoppers. Either way, it may take longer to get the answers I need, but it's always worth the wait. There are others online that may tempt you with lower priced packages but be careful. You may think you are getting OEM only to time out that only 1 piece out of the 4-piece kit is actually OEM. With Cascade, you never have to worry. I purchased what was a pair of Bilstien BMW front shocks per what was pictured on their site. What I received was a pair of rear Bilstien shocks. I contacted Cascade and told them they shipped the wrong shocks. They said it was the correct part number ordered and that the shocks pictured was incorrect. They agreed to have me send the order back for a refund which I did eight weeks ago but have not received any response from them even after several emails. I will not be purchasing parts for my BMW e90 from Cascade due to their poor customer service even if they have the the best price. read more

2/22/2023 I purchased a stage 3 kit for ALH TDI in late 2022. By January of 2023, within maybe two weeks of getting the tune and everything installed, the started boosting to 40+psi (not a good thing) It's been seven weeks and I'm still not getting responses back from my numerous emails and calls regarding my turbo boosting 40psi+ I was advised in January that a shipping label was being sent out, but it hasn't arrived and I have received no feedback from my numerous contact attempts. Adding to this the fact that the stage 3 kit did not come with all of the promised pieces, and I was charged for egr delete pieces AFTER I canceled them, my first experience with Cascade has been the worst experience I've had with a vender in over 30 years in the profession. read more

I stopped by Cascade German Parts to get an oil change kit (filter, drain bolt crush washer, LiquiMoly motor oil), and Pentofrost coolant. Products for my 2012 VW TDI Sportwagon. VW is new to me, along with it being a diesel, so I had a few questions. They answered those with ease, got me the right products, and sent me on my way. A few things to know before you go in. 1.) Call ahead so they have your stuff ready for you (or order online). The guys seemed busy, though they were very courteous, so that'd probably help them out. I kinda just stumbled in unawares. 2.) The entrance is a part of a string of mirrored doors and windows. So trust the business sign and enter directly under it. Otherwise you'll be staring at yourself like a goon wondering whether they're open or not. 3.) Visit their online store. Bought a turbo/parts for my B4. It was bad right away. Found metal from the turbo in the motor. This was installed by my 30-year VW trained mechanic, whom they blamed, rather than own up to a defective turbo. Aaron (owner) would not honor a replacement, and could not have been more dismissive.
