Hmm not sure why they have ANY employees at this store. Unless you value seeing a couples guys smoking out front as you walk in to be NOT acknowledged and then actively AVOIDED by the other 3/4 paid lackeys in the store. I mean hearing them talk loudly about their lunch plans did give me something to do while I checked myself out at the self-service kiosk. Great place to go if you really don't like people and never want anyone to disturb your restful peace.. Just to be fair I walked BACK into the store and walked up and down every aisle (HINT: as if I was looking for something) still nothing. Autozone usually hires kind helpful people. Today John S. was super kind and helpful. This a.m. I went to treat myself to expensive coffee for passing exam/new job. I never got out of the neighborhood. Car died right in the street. I thought I had a 5 yr battery. The store I purchased it from was not helpful. I was just about to call a tow when a neighbor said it's got to be the battery for the ticking sound and jumped it. My jumper didn't start my car so I thought it wasn't the battery. I shared my morning with John S. at Autozone and had a laugh. I was so happy it was not the $tarter. John S. installed a better battery and ran all the checks with the checking tool. So I am an idiot , locked my keys in my car WITH THE CAR RUNNING over by the jersey mikes. ( don't ask y'all it's been a LOOOOOONG day ). Was panicked. An employee of a business near suggested auto zone for to see if they had a slim Jim ( which they don't ) .... I sent my son and Zac came over an assessed the situation. In this day and time. Not having locking anything, is asking for heartbreak. My apartment community is currently dealing with something worthy of locks. Before heartbreak could set in, I bought a Locking Gas Cap at Autozone. It was a Tuesday. I was told it had to be ordered and may be in as soon as Wednesday probably Thursday. Come Friday i had guests and kinda forgot about it. On Monday I get a call from a mumbler. I thought it was me but on his 3rd attempt at identifying himself, he spoke up and I realized I was talking with a mumbler. The nice gentleman said my part was in. I said I'll be by later to pick it up and he said, see you soon. I then looked at my call history and discovered this to be the only call from Autozone. Upon receiving my part, I noticed the tag said it came in Wednesday. So much for a courtesy call. Customer Service is a dying art in a lot of businesses these days. Never going here again. The muscular dude with a beard is the RUDEST person. Couldn't be bothered to help people who had been standing in line for a long time. Instead he opted for calling someone on the phone and ignored the customers. One hispanic guy was actually working and helping customers and even offered to help one carry something to his car. Another guy with black hair and beard was telling personal stories about his daughter and leaning all over the counters instead of working. This is not the first time I've come here and received CRAPPY service, but it will be the last. The Gresham store is way more efficient at handling a line of customers and does so with a pleasant demeanor. You need to boot most of the crew at the Wood Village store and start AGAIN. Its closer to me, but worth the drive not to have to deal with a bunch of lazy people who don't want to work and are rude. read more

Two weeks ago my battery died in my car, after I replaced it, my radio/Bluetooth wasn't working. We tried the interior fuses, removing the unit and reconnect it, nothing was working. After two weeks of driving around in silence I stopped by Autozone to try new fuses. The manager took a look at my two sets of fuse diagrams found an additional auto fuse we had not tried replacing, he then helped me replace it and my radio worked! So thankful for the helpful staff at this location. I will be back the next time my car needs parts! read more

Thank you Auto Zone! Last weekend I drove to Goldendale from Vancouver. On the way out, I noticed there was a carry chains sign because of possible snow. I stopped there on the way out and was expertly and courteously helped. Then, on the wY back, I stopped at the same place because my check engine light was flashing. 5pm placed a part on hold. 6pm at store the other guy Joe couldn't find it. He said it's listed in the computer, but he checked the shelves twice & it wasn't there. I was about to walk out, but Joe didn't miss a beat. He found a different manufacturer's part-it was a little more expensive-he gave it to me for the same price. I ended up at this Auto Zone thinking I just needed more antifreeze put in my car (that I had just bought a few weeks ago). I was assisted with purchasing the correct antifreeze, and putting it into my car. But then it all immediately poured out of the bottom. The customer service manager (I'm so sorry I didn't get their name) helped diagnose the problem, and advised me to get it towed to the service shop I purchased the car from. They plugged the leak for me, and showed me what was going on so that I could relay that to the shop. Then after waiting for a while for the tow truck, when I was leaving, another customer service representative had gotten me some water and it was just the absolute best experience considering the unexpected issues with my car that Saturday morning. Auto Zone has always been helpful, but this location went above and beyond. Thank you!!! read more

I had to go here to pickup a couple filters for my car today, it was a nightmare.... I had to wait in the line for 20 minutes because they only had 1 person working the whole store! I can't believe that on a Friday around 4 pm they would have 1 employee run the whole show! He was soooo slow! I had to keep repeating what I needed and which car I have.... this was like a nightmare ! Please add more employees and make sure they are quick and sharp ! read more

I'm honestly not sure where to begin on my review of this AutoZone so I suppose I'll just jump right into it. We recently moved into the state and stopped here to pickup some new screws for the license plates on our cars. We weren't exactly sure on the size of the screws so my girlfriend and her sister waited in line while I shopped around for some basic auto needs stuff (pretty much all car wash accessories). I shopped the entire store while the two attendants at the registers were helping the SAME PEOPLE from when I started looking. By the time my girlfriend and her sister got to the front counter and asked the girl about if the screws were the right size (we brought in one of the old ones) and were comparing two different types, her response was "well they look the same. It's mainly preference...I think". Well, that was an utter useless waste of time. So my girlfriend and her sister decided to go look at the screws some more before we waited again in the obnoxiously slow line (there was a customer at each checkout lane; each customer was just ringing up items and not asking questions; each customer took 10+ minutes to ring up 2-3 items). To be honest, I've never really had a "great" experience at an AutoZone, but this has by far been the worst. My girlfriend and I were both pretty shocked to find out that this location didn't have a yelp listing yet. Hopefully this will at least provide some notice about how truly horrible this place is. read more
