Decent location in Hazel Dell off highway 99. This is a high traffic area. They have a decent sized parking lot which was recently paved and striped. Pretty easy to get in and out of. Employees are hit and miss. Some are helpful, and some distracted and not wanting to be there. They keep their shelves stocked and always have what we need. Their prices are reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend for convenience and pricing. Just don't be surprised if you get an employee that isn't helpful or friendly. read more

Bought a Exide Sx78dt on 8/10/2023 . I brought it in today to be tested as it was no longer starting the vehicle even after being fully charged to 12.75 volts . The counter person checked the battery with the battery tester and said it was bad. Counter person was in the process of warranty when the manager said they needed to put it on their charger overnight and test it with a different tester as the one used wasn't accurate enough, The same tester that they use to test YOUR battery when they sell you a battery. I am now heading to a NAPA to buy a battery for my vehicle while costless "tests" the battery. I guess it would cost less to shop elsewhere. read more

I honestly can not say enough good things about these guys and especially Matthew in particular. I took my kids to Baskin and Robbins across the street and when I was pulling out, I thought my car was breaking down... If you know me, you should know I am not very savvy with cars and thank god Cost Less was right there. I cruised my way into the parking lot and went inside. Luckily, Matthew was there to rescue us. He took his time and checked out every inch of my car, plugging things in, checked the oil, all the other fluids, battery... you name it. The best thing about it, is he told me he thought my gas cap was missing. I told him there was no way, well come to find out.. he was right! I went into the Orchards store to pick up a few things that I needed for my truck. When I went to pay for them the cashier and two other employees where all talking to each other. Finally the cashier notices that someone is there and walks up. She said about three words to me. How much my stuff was and "Good one" Because I guess she did not have the energy to say "Have a good one" Or hello or goodbye! She did not offer a bag or anything. She never even looked up at me. She then just turned around and started talking to the other employees like nobody was ever there. Has customer service totally gone away? read more

Bad custermer service. They treat you like sh**, You go and ask for a parts and they're trying to diagnose your issue with no Knowledge of mechanical skills. I went to the orchards location around 8:30 in the afternoon on Aug 10 2023, and two clowns didn't wanted to take care of me, like my MONEY wasn't good for them. I came in yesterday wanting a battery exchanged because it stopped holding a charge. The employee checked the battery and confirmed within 2 minutes that the battery was in fact bad and needed replacing. (I purchased the battery a few months ago and it came with a 3 year warranty). Once I showed them my receipt which they weren't expecting I had, they wanted to do a extensive 6 hour test on the battery and have me sit in their parking lot, when they originally confirm the battery was bad. The bigger tattooed manager was extremely rude and didn't care about customer service at all. After trying to explain to him that I don't have time to wait for 6 hrs, I finally gave up and bought a new battery at Costco and brought their battery back for the 6 hour test. Today I came back to check on the battery and indeed it was faulty, I told the same manager that I don't want the battery exchanged I simply want my money back, but he was being extremely rude and told me "too bad you'll be stuck with two batteries now" knowing I had no choice but to buy another battery for Costco. Luckily while he left for a few seconds I asked the very nice cashier if instead of an exchange she could simply refund my money. She agreed and I got a refund. As I was walking out of the store the manager with the tattoos started yelling at her and started chasing me while I walked out of the store. He ran out and tried to get in front of my car, yelling "I'm going to charge your card I have your information."(which is fraud) I drove around him and left the property. I would never recommend anyone go here, and don't expect to get anything covered by warranty. They purposely make up a 6 hour battery test so you would just give in and buy another battery from them, no one has 6 hours to sit around. Costco is definitely the way to go, they have a 36 month warranty, no questions asked. read more

Stopped in today to get some wiper blades for my car. Ryan, one of the employees, jumped right up and helped me out. He found the best blades for my car and even asked me what kind of driving I did mostly so he can make certain the blades I have work best for where I drive most. Then he installed them for me so I didn't have to deal with that at all. I know it's not a huge deal and many auto parts stores and service shops will do that little extra for you. Living in Vancouver, WA and have used Cost Less Auto Parts for several years. Good service and formerly very decent prices. Apparently they changed ownership at the end of last year and from what I have seen my last two visits, it would be appropriate to change their name to something like, "Cost-A-Lot-More Auto Parts". Shawn is a kind and outstanding human being. We came in today because we had a misfire diagnosed on our 97 Ford Ranger. After recieving insane quotes from Midas and Jiffy Lube we decided to handle things ourselves. With zero knowledge mind you. Shawn greeted us right when we walked in and helped us figure out what we needed. Cost Less is great! By far the cheapest place to get good parts in the area. I've noticed that a lot of the parts I buy from them are the same parts you get at autozone. O'reiley, etc . A1 Cardone seems to supply a lot of the parts to all the shops. These other shops are almost always more expensive than Cost Less. So why would I go to another store and get the same part for more money. Plus... Cost Less has great store hours and friendly staff who are always willing to help. These guys will even come out to your car and look at it to help you purchase the correct part for your vehicle! read more

Cost Less can not be beat for customer service! Their prices are also great. It's so nice to be able to support a locally owned business that is not overpriced just because they are locally owned. They generally have what I need in stock but I have found it best to call in advance. One nice thing is that they will order a part that they do not stock without requiring you to come in and pay first. There is very little that they have not been able to source. They have even been able to get old Mercedes parts that were made by Bosch. As long as they can find a part number or I can supply one it generally arrives within a couple days. They even got me some crazy Bilstein shocks that had to be shipped from a New Jersey warehouse as it was the only place in the USA that had them. Again, great service! It's nice that they are also open late. Nothing worse than rushing off to pick up parts from someone that closes at 5:30 or 6:00 PM. read more

All I needed was one of these guys to grab a socket hanging on the wall directly behind them but one guy says it's gonna be a few minutes we are on the phone. He could have reached the socket and set it on the counter without even moving his feet. I walked next door to advance auto parts got my socket and that took all of one minute. read more

I've always had great experiences with Cost Less. This is the go-to place when I need auto parts. Their prices are some of the lowest around. Plan on paying 2 to 3 times more at the dealership and they are cheaper than other auto parts stores I shop, plus their parts are usually in stock. Some parts are similar priced though, depending on what you buy, but mostly it will be cheaper there. Great friendly staff and no-nonsense customer service and return policy (unless you install it on the car). We got a loaner tool to pull an axle from a steering knuckle. Turns out the tool was damaged from a previous user and when we used it it ended up breaking. Took it back and thinking we had to buy it (over $100 tool), but the guy was really cool and just gave us another one, which ended up working. We got the deposit back no problem!
