Went in alignment and drove for short time and Tow end bolts were loose on ty rods the job wasn't not completed but yet given back to us too drive we did not notice this until further damage of vehicle was done also we were on a long trip away from home luckily no serious accident happened..when contacted the shop I was told to come in Sunday and he would help me out and Sunday came nobody showed .. I am beyond dissatisfied and disappointed with the way I was treated after letting them know the job was not completely done . He yelled 30 day warranty very rudely.. So I have been using Gateway Tire Center for pretty much all of my tire needs for the last 10 years or so. Not because their service was extra special or anything. Mosty because it was convenient and less expensive than Schwab, but about a week ago my wife was heading out-of town on a road trip with my kids. So I took her car down there and asked them to give the tires a once over and make sure they were in good shape. They proceeded to talk shit about me in Russian amongst themselves then told me to take it to a gas station. I for one will never spend another cent in this shop. I had my Honda Odyssey aligned here recently. I had just had my steering rack and tie rods replaced, and i needed an alignment. This shop broke both of my tie rod boots because they did not take the retaining clips off before they spun the tie rods. I had all brand new parts before I went into this shop, and left with broken parts. The worst thing is, is that after I pay to have these parts replaced again, I will need ANOTHER alignment..... I called the shop to try and work with them, and they basically told me to pound sand. I would not reccomend this shop to anyone. I understand mistakes happen, but when the shop denies all responsibility, that is another thing. read more

I made contact with Andrey over market place, He was nice as could be, I went and bought 6 new tires for my F550, As he's balancing one of the rear tires he says this wheel is "Bended" He proceeds to balance the rest but never checks his work after adding weight. I leave and have a horrible vibration coming from right rear of truck. I messaged him about this problem and no reply just crickets. I ended up taking truck to Schwab to have all the tires re-balanced. Right rear inside took 13.5 ounces, It was a bad tire. I messaged Andrey and he states he basically doesn't believe me and doesn't trust Schwab. NEVER EVER go see these clowns. I would have been happy if he would have reimbursed me the $111.00 I paid Schwab, Nope, Lesson learned, Fly by night operation. I paid $1700 for these tires and service. DO NOT GO HERE. Went here to get an alignment because I don't have the tools to do it myself and I had just put new struts on my car. First they tell me over the phone it's $75 for alignment then I go in and they say it's $90. I only ended up paying $75 but the reason I give this place one star is because they give me my car back and the did something to my cv axle. it was fine when I brought it in but when I got it back my alignment is worse than before and my cv axle is leaking oil everywhere. Only reason I went here is because my buddy recommended it and it's cheap, it's not worth it. You're better off paying more and going to les schwab or something. I called to look for a used set, said they didn't have ANY in my tire size, 17...I asked what's your cheapest new set and he automatically answered, without having to look or think about it $400, thats $100 more than what other places around town have quoted me. Stopped in on a nice day, was short on time. These people did not speak english back. Instead the owner (Andre) spoke in his native language only to his guys. I was ignorant enough to fall - they showed me only two wheels out of the whole. Came to decision to buy - he offered me $100 for my tires/rims on my car, guess what?? he has them on CL for $400/ black rims/with tires 5x100. Dont buy it he only got it from me for $100 or if any. He told me the whole wheels and tires for $860. I paid no problem. The only thing is - after I got home I realize he pulled a fast one - switch the tires on me the tire treads were a cheap brand and looked like it was used tires. I called him to discuss that it was not what we agreed. Pretty much he told me f... off, Im SOL Wow!!! what a shocker !!! these people are the Worst Experience Ever!! I was sincere about helping small business and people from other country but turned out, they scammed and cheated me. As I further discuss not many people in the tires business had any good thing to say about this owner and the way he operates. I've been here 3 times, twice for tires and today for an alignment. The service and products have always been top notch. I appreciate how careful and courteous they are with my vehicles. The prices are great too. They don;t fill your wait with a bunch of chatter and they are usually so quick they don't have you fill out any paperwork unless you are leaving the premises. This might make some uneasy but after a few times I understand it would have just been a waste of time and paper - they estimated an hour wait time for the alignment and did it in 30 minutes to me being pout the door. read more

So I rarely write bad reviews, I'm the kind of person who really hesitates to write anything negative because I know that it's detrimental to peoples business. That being said I will make an exception for these guys, I pull up to the spot and walk into the garage to talk to the only guy working there clearly the guy I spoke to on the phone and who I made an appointment with. I then proceed to ask him how long the truck's going to take since I made an appointment with them and told them of my arrival, he says this truck will take 30 minutes. Then another hour for my car. Over the phone they said 30 minutes. But after seeing their little scam they got going on, where they trick you with a lower price, then when you arrive they quote you a higher price based on nothing of value I was so disgusted I drove away even though I drove from Beaverton to get here took me 47 minutes of commuting. My car is lowered but it's been aligned before so it'll be the same amount of adjustment as any other car on the road. Other shops don't charge more just cause your car is lowered, bottom line these guys are scum! I was so turned off by these scammers I walked away and boy am I glad, judging on these other reviews on here, these guys will probably try to scam you once they have your car on the lift pointing out to broken things too. Went in for mount and balance of tires I purchased elsewhere, alignment and to change the rear brakes on my Prius. They did the work fast and got it done right. There was an issue with the brakes at first but they put it back on the rack to figure it out. The price they charged was fair and was lower than the competition by a lot. I do courier business, I took my van on 11/12/2019 to swap 4 tires with winter tires I do have. They charged me higher price than I normally pay since I swap tires twice a year. But this is not the problem, when I mentioned the higher charge to the owner or the manger don't know his position, he start to shout with high voice and tried to hand me the phone telling me to call Les Schwab and wants me to ask how much they charge. I see this as a very bad customer service. Hence, they lost my business which I was thinking to use them because they are close to me. read more

Great service for what you need. Tire replaced or alignment. Had purchased tires here before and later found that passenger front tire started to leak. Came back to the shop to find that I ended up bending the rim from inside (running into curb perhaps) which caused the leak, they fixed it at no charge, straighten my rim and tire balance. Worst Experience Ever!! These people are scammers. Let me tell you about my first time experience at this tire shop. I was having a great day until I arrived at Gateway Tires. I was in need of an installation and I had provided my own tires that I had already purchased elsewhere. I was quoted a price before the installation, and the price seemed pretty fair at first, but once the tires were installed, I was quoted a different price. The owner stepped in and told me that the price originally quoted would not be honored after the installation. So then, I had to remind him about our agreement before the installation. he threatened to put my old tires back, which he did. Aftwards, and on top of this ridiculous non sense, he wanted to charge me another $50 for putting my old tires back, and threatened to keep my car if I refused to pay him the new amount. I then made it clear to him that I was not going to pay him, a single penny worth, due to his disturbing absurd behaviour and foul demented customer service. It was at this point, that he charged at me violently and his attempt was to intentionally hurt me physically with a closed fist. Immediately after isolating myself from this man, I found the opportunity to call the authorities, and after he had found about the call, he immediately jumped in his car and fled the scene before any police could get there. Thankfully, the younger gentleman, who helped me at first, returned my car keys and apologized for his boss' inappropriate behavior. This is absolutely no way of treating customers. One may not be able to comprehend this man's way dealing with things. I can only imagine how many people he has taken advantage of. I would not recommend going to this place, and I will definitely not be returning to this shop for a tire change. read more

I rate this shop as the most disrespectful and rude and racist shop ever! I've been twice asking for service and help and they will not open thier mouth or even offer to assist me.. I went back several months later 11-25-2015 and walked in to ask for a tire patch repair, he said no he would not help me at all and I asked him if that was his hop next door that says tire service he said yes why, long story short he didn't want to serve me or help me at all felt very Un welcomed , hiw can u be a tire service shop and not patch a tire . mechanic's don't do that or supposed to..So I had to take my car across the street to we can fit it! Owner of the shop named Carlos went over and beyond and he did it for me with no problem even when they are not supposed to and he did... If I was a secret shopper writing reviews they would fail bad for thier customer service! When I asked about 2 used tires they advertised on Craigslist, I was asked if I wanted used or new. I told the employee again that I was calling about the used tires on Craigslist. I was rudely told that I should have said used as I did. Customer service must not be their strong point. I told him no thank, No sale here.
