This problem began after I had the bumper replaced. The mechanics never identified the actual problem, they even put in a new computer that was not the problem. After they changed it it should have stopped. This FINE MECHANIC listened to me then drove the car long enough to know where to begin looking. It was the connector that was linked to the anti theft sensor. It was loose. Had been very loose and explained why some times it was better and half hour later it's shutting itself off or flickering so my acceleration was sketchy and would do nothing as i tried, say attempted to merge onto the freeway. It often would stall and coast until i could safely stop. It was a good year of this or close. We didn't go running errands or driving in traffic because that increased the problem. I drove 5 hours away and it did great except in the coffee line after 3 hours. I was so stressed and upset that the mechanics kept guessing at my financial expense! Finally this wonderful garage on Birdsdale in Gresham actually as i said drove it, found the problem and I picked it up the very day they fixed it. Only left overnight the night before after they closed so they could get to it as early as they scheduled. I'm always late not good for mornings anymore so they were so accommodating. They are honest! Reliable! , and my only mechanic from that day forward. I have notified my family of the change and told them never to risk getting a lemon in the mechanic fields. I can't believe I forgot to leave this review previously.
