My Ford Focus was overheating and leaking coolant and on my drive home from work one day the thermostat was going nuts. I called Erick after searching frantically for a well reviewed business near me and he was able to take a look for me with no issue within 10 minutes. He even filled my coolant. He suggested I actually make an appointment to bring it in and within a day he called me with answers and suggestions and a breakdown via email of what he thought should be done. Paperwork is electronic which was very handy, especially during covid and it updates in real time. Because of the crappy financial state we are all in, I'm not able to commit to the repairs just yet and will need to have my little car sit for a bit while I decide how to handle this- but I really appreciated Erick's professionalism, kindness and knowledge. I had to call back after talking already once today and ask the DUMBEST questions and he was so patient and nice. Something you don't often get from the auto industry. Car trouble is crappy, stressful and expensive but at least you can experience decent customer service in the midst of it. I ended up calling Erick's Autotech last minute in hopes of a day-of used car inspection. I explained that this was my first time and he gave me a clear idea of what it would entail and how much it would cost. He understood that when buying a used car you often need to figure things out ASAP so he kindly made sure I could get in that day. While driving the car over there, I noticed some big red flags about the vehicle and realized I might not need the inspection anymore. When I arrived, Erick took a look under the hood and pointed out some noticeable issues with the valve covers. I also explained what I had experienced on the drive over and he suggested that it probably wasn't smart to purchase the car. He then proceeded to answer some of my questions and give great advice about what to look for when buying the specific car I was interested in. Erick was friendly, costumer first and very knowledgeable. He saved me money by suggesting the inspection wasn't necessary but still offered to do it if I wanted to. My Nissan Pathfinder is now 10 years old and I wanted to get it checked out since I was starting a job with a commute. Erick was friendly, communicative, and HONEST! I cannot overstate this. He could have told me it needed a lot of work. And I would have believed him. But he straight up told me I don't need anything. I contacted him and only one response to tell me he's closed, didn't care about the bunk work he ripped me off for. Best Mechanic. EVER. We stumbled upon Erick's Autotech after a dealership was ready to consider my car a loss (yet one of their mechanics offered to purchase it...). Besides driving by and seeing his lot filled with cars, a Yelp review actually helped to seal the deal. All I have to say is, "Wow!" Erick is friendly, personable, detail-oriented, and patient. Most importantly, he is honest and he understood my practical (and emotional) need to keep my 2003 Honda running strong for another 100k miles. He and his partner mechanic essentially rebuilt my car. Quality Work and Fast!!! Turn Around I noticed the shop on the way to a friends and needed my rear bumper repaired. Eric was very friendly and had my car done within a few days. He also took the time to get to know me and my vehicle. He painted my wheels and they turned out awesome. He also does quality mechanic work. My front brakes literally fell off my van because I ran them into the ground. Being a woman who knows nothing about brakes, I was incredibly embarrassed having to explain what I had done to Erick (the owner) . However, he was a complete gentlemen about it and explained where i had gone wrong without making me feel like an ass. He also called me and kept me up to date on what was going on every step of the way. The best part was that my car was in and out in about 24hrs. Considering my entire front brakes system had needed to be replaced for over a year and i had caused a lot more damage by continuing to drive it, i thought the turn around was outstanding. We have brought our cars to Color Systems for variuos repairs in the past year and have always been very happy with their work and quality service. Our 2005 BMW was damaged in a light rear end accident and they handled the insurance claim for us. They did an amazing job on the repair,the paint matched perfecly. They even saved us our deductible! We have also had a few mechanical issues(oil leak and antifreeze leak) on that same car. Erick found the problems quickly and his prices were very reasonable. Erick really knows what he is doing, him and his assistant are always friendly and a pleasure to do business with. They even wash my car for me! I love that!! I recently had work done on my Chevy Aveo. As a car owner I take much pride in my vehicle and I don't trust just anyone to work on her. I made a few calls before I found Eric the owner at Color Systems. I felt that he was extremely helpful and his prices were reasonable, unlike some of my previous calls. Being a woman with not a lot of car knowledge I was able to describe the sound my car was making, and Eric was able to diagnosis my vehicles problem over the phone. Turned out I needed to replace my break pads. When I arrived I was greeted with friendly smiles from the employees and immediate service. Having such a demanding schedule made it difficult to find the time to take my vehicle in. Luckily, Eric was very understanding and was able to get me in with little notice.
