I was on my way to Seattle from central Oregon last Tuesday when my truck started cutting out, I was pulling a trailer so turned off the main road looking for a parking lot turns out it was a repair shop lomeli or whatever it's called anyways they charged me 85.00 to diagnose my issue, they told me my exhaust converter was plugged and sent me to there buddies muffler shop that charged me another 300.00 that didn't fix my problem, turns out the negative battery cable was loose. sad place when they don't know what there doing. read more

They didnt put a part back when they gave it back to me.But if you are in a pinch and dont mind pieces missing then go for it. If you are looking for an honest mechanic that does good work this is not the shop. I had my radiator replaced, hoses replaced, and since they had the radiator off and easy access to serpetine belt I had them do that as well. Luckily I checked their work because they forgot to put a piece back that goes from air filter to front of hood. I had to bring it back and all they said was "we will give the mechanic shit for it." Makes me question all of their work and what else they missed? I thought since the radiator was out of the way it is way easier to do the serpetine belt. They still charged me full labor for that even though im convinced they did it way quicker with radiator off. All things said and done they are over priced and do sloppy work. read more

I arrived at their shop, Al looked at my left rear rotor and took the car in to the shop. 20 minutes later my car was back on the road with the issue solved and they didn't charge me a penny. This is the only shop I will bring my cars/trucks to in Gresham! Their work is always the best and guaranteed. They have always provided me with excellent customer service and fair pricing. The owner Carlos is always very kind and willing to take care of me. He's offered to store my vehicle at the shop until it can be looked at..saving me commute time and a tow. I almost left it in the Shari's parking lot and he let me know they changed their policy and they tow if it's left overnight...saving me $300+. He has also spend several hours sorting out my extended warranty stuff that the previous shop owner left outstanding. A few years ago, I had a factory warranty part go out in my truck that made it inoperable. That part was unavailable for over a year and they were able to run a bypass relay which allowed me to operate my truck until the part was available. This saved me over $4k in car payments for a truck I wouldn't have been able to drive until the part was available. I have so many stories I could share about how honest and great this shop is! By far the best service I have ever had from any auto repair shop! I had put off having the A/C worked on my car because I just thought it wasn't essential and because I was feared that it would be costly. I had taken my car to another shop and received a quote that was more than double to repair what was really wrong with the A/C. Lomelli's was able to accurately diagnose the repair that was needed and ensure the repair was done correctly. For me, that's the important part! It's a bonus that the repair didn't cost as much. I am very, very disappointed in Lomelies Auto repair I had them fix my truck and they said they put antifreeze in my engine but this last month my engine freeze plug popped out and it was in this last June like 5 months ago and they are saying it's not worth fixing and then they would not even be Honest and fix they're mistake I am not ever referring them again to anyone I would not have taken it there but they seemed knowledgeable but if they really put in antifreeze I would still be driving my truck which I also bought from them for $ 5,600 cash poor quality craftsman no mechanic would deny what causes a freeze plug to fall out ! read more

I got some misinformation from les schwab and was told the motor mounts would need to be replaced. The office manager hopped in my car and we took it around the block finding nothing wrong with the vehicle. I appreciate him taking the time out of his day to basically tell me that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. Not many car repair places would do this for the possibility of no sale. I travelled to Gresham from Eastern Oregon for a business thing and my car had some issues. My MIL recommended Lomeli's to have a look. Her and FIL said "they are honest." Not only did I they get me in first thing Monday morning. They did it with a smile. After they problem solved and thought the issue was fixed, they didn't charge me a dime! Well the issue continued the next day and they brainstormed after much info from me (they listen!) and really did solve the issue and got me back on the road at a very reasonable rate. I am so impressed with this shop I don't know where to start. As someone with no car repair experience having car problems can be very stressful. Finding an auto repair shop often leaves me feeling anxious. From the moment I called the shop the female that answered was welcoming and friendly. She didn't rush me and gave me great advice. She is the reason I decided to go with the shop over others. She called and kept me up to date and even gave me the quote before they began the repair. When I came to pickup my car the next morning a mechanic checked me out and he was equally as friendly and welcoming. I was shocked by my bill... they literally charged me what they said they would. In fact they literally only charged me for the labor they did and didn't charge me the full hour which most shops will do. I was so shocked! I feel like this is unheard of at least in my experience. Took my vehicle in repairs on 4/12/23, finally released on 4/24/23, after returning about 4 or 5 times, was looking at reviews hoping to find a shop close by, because I live alone, and I'am 79 years old ,hoping to find one shop "honest" and not creating more cost and repairs , and if needed I could walk to pick it up,after 13 days returned over and over, $1694.00, and never completely repaired ,had to take it to a dealer in Gresham, to to finish repair what, "lomeli's did not, at the cost of additional cost of $512.00. I have to be honest, my first experience at this shop was excellent. This last time I had to take my car in Carlos, who is the owner had hired a new shop manager named Al. I really enjoy speaking with Carlos because he is understanding and very friendly. Al, on the other hand can be very rude and unprofessional. When I take my car to the shop they were experiencing difficulty with my warranty company so they end up having my car for six weeks which I understand they can't do anything about that but Al not understanding the fact that I wanted my car back. Fast forward today on September 29th 2023 at 12:15 in the afternoon I called the shop to find out the update on my cars diagnosis because I was told that they would have an answer on what's wrong with my car by 12 noon. When I called, I got transferred to Al And his exact words to me were " you calling every 10 minutes is not gonna make things any faster we're shortstaffed and it's not gonna get done today and probably not till Monday". Keep in mind I hadn't called front update at all today up until that point, so Al is very rude very unprofessional and I hate to say it but possibly making me want to choose a different shop to go to. It's unfortunate, because I like Carlos, he does what he can to help you out, and he tries to keep his word out on the other hand doesn't care about that I would think that in somebody in his position would have a little bit more compassion for people when their cars have already been in the shop for six weeks and only had the car back for two. I am a single parent, and I only have one running vehicle, so I'm dependent on my one vehicle. read more

I have always had a great experience here. Have been taking my cars here for years and so does my family. I was quoted $410 from Jeremey via text message for a job I scheduled with them. Once the job was finished and car was being picked up, my total was a little over $100 more than my quote. When I asked Carlos who was helping me what made the price difference, he didn't know and suggested to call back Monday and talk to Jeremy. I did, he indicated a typo, and apologized. I would have waited to take my car to be able to budget for the repair. The extra amount was out of my budget at the time When called back to talk further about the mistake in my quote, Jeremy told me(with attitude) to call back and talk to Carlos, which I did. However when I called back, Carlos wasn't in the shop so I left a message with Jeremy to call me back. I have not received a call back and none of my calls have been answered since. Its very unfortunate. I may not bring my business here again based on how this was handled. A call back would have been appreciated. read more

Went in with questions and the front desk didn't look busy but apparently didn't want to answer questions. I know I'm high maintenance but my car is my world which is why I've been going around trying to figure out what places to go to and thought I'd go to places that aren't on google, and well I get rude customer service and brushed off.
