I had a nasty vibration of unknown cause in my VW Rialta RV. I picked Lomeli off my iPad. The front desk called a mechanic who did a test drive and figured that the tires were the problem. The two front tires had bulges and were unraveling. Very dangerous. They recommended a tire supply nearby, who didn't have the correct tires , but I found them at Les Schwab nearby. I was so relieved to know what the problem was and they were very friendly and nice to work with. Given the outcome they didn't charge me anything. What a great auto service company. I called Lomeli's and asked if they could help me fix a botched pad and rotor replacement that a friend had performed. The service manager Al told me to come in and they'd take care of it. I arrived at their shop, Al looked at my left rear rotor and took the car in to the shop. 20 minutes later my car was back on the road with the issue solved and they didn't charge me a penny. This place took great care of me in my hour of need and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Had a mechanic quote me over 2 grand on a fix, took it to Lomelis and they told me not only did I not need the fix the other mechanic suggested, but they did a full inspection of my car and got everything working beautifully (for no where near 2 grand might I add)! They installed a radiator for my daughter incorrectly. We had to take it to a transmission place to have it flushed. When the car was overheating they said to take it in since it was under warranty. Then a spiel about how it needed a new water pump etc. When I tried to cancel the repair they told me it had already been done and the price went up to $1300. Don't trust these guys. While the shop is pretty "basic" the nice guy who runs it has years of experience working on just about everything under the sun and knows what he's doing. This is where "problem" cars whose cooling systems and air conditioning can't seem to get fixed by other shops wind up. While I was there a lady brought in a car she had taken to another shop 3 times and still didn't have heat. Jerry examined their work and diagnosed it as their not knowing how to properly bleed the air out of the system. He was familiar with that make/model and by the time he finished working on it the heater was working fine. I had him recore my heater with a new copper unit for a reasonable price. Somehow he got it done the same day even with all the other work he had going on and I had my truck up and running later that night. Now I can drive in the rain without my windows fogging over and I don't even need to run my defroster. I just turn on the heater and enjoy the heat. It's nice being able to see my side view mirrors again. read more

My car was over heating and my mechanic referred me over to Gresham Radiator. By the time I arrived, he was closed, but he graciously took the time to check out and problem solve why my car was over heating. He took at least 20 minutes trying things to see what was going on. He fixed a leak and put in radiator fluid, all to figure out that my new radiator cap was defective. I offered to pay him for his time, however, he would not allow me to. He took the time to help me, even after he was closed, and not leave me stranded until the next day. He was pleasant and humorous and had some great one liners!
