Highly Recommend! After bad experiences with other shops, I drove from out of town to Trans Medic for my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins diesel 4x4--and they exceeded all expectations! They installed a rebuilt transmission with lightning-fast service and complete transparency. Their team is super friendly and knowledgeable; excellent value for the quality of their work. My truck runs like new, and I finally found a shop I can trust. For transmission work done right, this is the place to go!

Thank you trans medic for fixing my baby

Cory called back with better news it was just a part that tells the transmission when to shift.

On my transmission pan. Initially I asked for a flush, but when I mentioned I have 210k miles Steve started acting like I should throw it away, and the work wouldn't be worth it. I couldn't even convince him to drain and fill my fluid. I was recommended to this business by their neighbor John, and Steve put a clutch in for me on another vehicle. That car was a 2007 jeep compass manual that nobody else would touch. Clutch failed less than a year later and I placed no blame on the business who installed the part. These things happen. Will not be returning to him in the future.

I had "lost" reverse and first on my 2010 Nissan Sentra 6-speed. I was able to roll into first, but reverse had no grab whatsoever. Steve was considerate regarding my time constraints, and fortunately, discovered the linkage had been crammed with a prickly cone (neighborhood squirrels or chipmunks the culprit). I was within 1.5 mile radius, so was provided a ride home and back. I got the car back later that afternoon. And the cost did not break the bank. Very good customer service, resulting in one very happy camper!

He told me that was normal after a new repair and that he would not let me use the warranty -- 14,000 miles later, the transmission is totally burned out and two mechanics as well as an insurance adjuster have stated that it is due to a faulty transmission installation (missing, faulty, and improperly installed parts) I'm now out of warranty with him and he will do nothing -- He even dared me to call a Lawyer -- hmmm... I will. One thing is for sure, myself and anyone I know will never do business there again.

When the transmission went out in my late model suv my first thought was that it was going to be…read moreexpensive. I called several transmission shops and I was quoted anywhere from 2800 to 4800 to rebuild the transmission. I was able to find a used transmission from a local wrecking yard with warranty for a much lower price. When I called around I was able to find a shop to put the transmission in for 1200. Everything was all of a sudden looking a lot more reasonable so I called AAA and asked them to deliver the car to my local shop. When the tow truck arrived to load the car he asked me where I was taking the car and then asked how much I was going to be charged. He explained to me that he knew of a shop that would be able to do the work at a much cheaper price, he called the shop for me and got a much better quote, after talked to the shop myself I decided to give vvanvo a shot. After this I was feeling nervous, I had called around and made what I felt was the best educated decision that I could and then at the last second I decided to take a gamble on this tow truck drivers "guy". When I brought the used transmission to the shop I didn't know what to expect, the owner was on site and seemed like a very nice guy, he was very personable and put my mind at ease right away. After talking with him for a few minutes I was a lot more confident that I had made the right decision in bringing my car here. After dropping off the transmission I thought that I would be given the typical mechanic experience, you know... He tells you it will be a week and it turns into three weeks type of thing. Now I dropped off the transmission right before the shop closed..... He calls me at 130 the next day to let me know that it was done. When I showed up to pick up the car the owner was again very nice and assured me that the transmission was good, thoroughly explained everything that he had done to the car and what to expect in the future. He made no attempt at any kind of an up sell and he gave me good advice on how to make my transmission last for a long time. Honestly this experience makes me wish that I had another car with a bad transmission, it is refreshing to deal with a shop that genuinely does care about customer experience and a shop owner that is very happy to deliver for his customers.

Danny does seem like a good guy. He has worked on my truck before…read more I had planned on him coming today to work on my brakes. I knew his arrival time would be variable but... I messaged him in the AM. He said he would call me back. He never did. I messaged him. His trailer had broken. Then he call me and says I'm not sensitive enough. First, he could have called to let me know what was going on. I think that was very unprofessional. I understand circumstances but you don't call your customers insensitive when he doesn't have the courtesy to call and give me a heads up. If he had that would have gone a long way in smoothie things out. Was he sensitive to my plight, no. I have life threatening ailments and have 4 very important Dr's visits this week I absolutely have to get to. Luckily I found another mobile mechanic to fix my truck tomorrow. I wish Danny well but this was a bit unprofessional.

Danny is a fraud, a thief and highly disrespectfully unprofessional. He claims 20 years of…read moreexperience but its B.S. After flaking off 3 appointments He intentionally misdiagnosed the issue several times to get me to keep buying parts which he insisted I buy on HIS commercial account). kept insisting I use his account which I chose not to because he was acting weird. He then tried to install the new starter and could not do it right. Lied and said I needed two fuel pumps and that's why it wouldn't start but I know that the solenoid clicks if its installed right but nothing. In the process he charged me for 2 appointments, a false diagnosis and stole my parts when he left. (now I know why he asks his customers to use his account) When I confronted him about the parts he refused to return them (thought I bought them on his account but I didn't) said go ahead call the police I've done this many times they always take the business's side and you will pay more in court costs than you will get back and the parts are on my account. So I did and now I just sent him an intent to sue letter I know I will win as I have parts receipts, a witness who was there, another mechanics testimony and the texts where he unknowingly confessed to stealing and deceiving me trying to get more work and more parts to steal. I called him and repeatedly gave him a chance said I would forgive if he would just do what's right but he refused. He said if you can prove all of this I will give you all of your money back and your parts. I did and again he refused to pay and return parts. So Here we go wish me luck!!! Warning Stay Away!!!!!!!!!! He is a very bad guy!!! His reply is a lie I have a witness and mechanics testimony to what was actually wrong just a simple wire to the ignition was loose (which I asked him to fix and told him what the problem was several times and he kept refusing to fix it said I didn't know what I was talking about and claimed it was both my fuel pumps). I can if you like provide witness contact info and provide the mechanics phone to verify for yourself. He is a con and a liar still refuses to returrn the parts he stole or refund my money as he promised!!! I can even show you the text messages between us where he unkowingly confessed to stealing the parts and promised to refund my money!!! Contact me and I will prove it!!! I still have receipts for the extra parts too. I never once asked him to do extra stuff only replace starter and diagnose a parasitic draw which he didn't fix either and charged me for 2 visits after flaking off 3 appointments. Never got the work done had to hire another mechanic I would do it myself but I am older and disabled. It took the other mechanic literally and I mean literally 30 seconds to determine what was wrong by doing exactly what I asked Danny Lundquist to do in the first place. Check the wire from the starter to the ignition. Thief!!! I recently sent him an intent to sue letter so if he does not return my money and (parts or compensation for my parts) I will be suing him. He has got 30 days from June 27th 2025 to do so. I will be reporting him to the BBB and other fraud alert consumer agencies as well. Danny's response is a bunch of B.S. I have a backup .pdf copy of our texts just contact me. I can give witness's contact and the phone of other mechanic who actually fixed it in literally 30 seconds. It still wasn't working when Danny left and had the nerve to charge me for 2 visits. I only asked him 3 things on my truck check the wire from the starter to the ignition and/or replace the starter and diagnose and fix a parasitic draw. On my van check for bad torque converter. I told him what was wrong with them because I already knew. He refused to fix what I asked him to and claimed I needed 2 fuel pumps. Then I asked him to check the parasitic draw and he got angry and said he's the best mechanic in Oregon and I was just stupid but I insisted so he pretended to check them and said they were all good said a fused wire that had no fuse on it was getting12.6V. Hard to do without a fuse, as it's not possible, he lied like just about everything. On the other vehicle asked him to diagnose a torque converter. He drove it literally 50 feet at 5 miles an hour then scanned and said the only codes were lean fuel but said he thought it was the torque but said he wasn't sure. (So hastily guessed and admittedly still undiagnosed). It was in limp mode so he couldn't diagnose it. Still tried to charge me for work not done on both cars. He actually unknowingly confessed to stealing my parts on texts and was so arrogant thought he could intimidate me into not calling the police or suing him. Basically said he's done it before and the police always take the business's side and said go ahead and sue me it will cost you more to sue me than you will get back. Obviously he doesn't know that if he looses, which he will, if I request he more than likely will be paying my court costs.
