The location is a good size with free wi-fi. The employees are borderline rude, and it's for this reason alone I will go to other shops in the area. The coffee isn't good enough to put up with the poor service.

The staff this morning (7-19-25) was very helpful and they seemed happy to help me. I ordered a vanilla latte and the BIGGEST BADDEST BLUEBERRY muffin i've ever had in my entire life. No cap! The muffin was fresh and moist. So delicious. The music was cranking and the vibes are nice and warm. Can't wait to come back and see the man with the locs. He was super helpful!

Friendly staff and quality coffee! Appreciate all the new (seasonal) flavors! I'm a big iced coffee aficionado with cold foam even better! Cool clean and plentiful seatings and tables even outdoor seatings. Good cool vibe aesthetics adorn the walls! Cool sleeve too!

No nonsense people, but very kind staff. There was a mix up with the drinks and someone took my Blue Dream Latte, but he kindly remade it for me. Blue Dream Latte tastes like a good sweet coffee latte and a lovely pick me up with a lavender sweetness to it. It's good. Clean bathrooms and a large open space to do work.

Plenty of great coffee and tea options, great service, good place to work or sit and drink coffee and tea good relaxing and upbeat environment! I tried the London fog tea and the matcha cherry blossom latte which both were great!

Love this location. Super efficient service, happy people working there and the store is clean and well kept. I always get the Vegan burrito and it is delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Pastries available and they have a cooler to grab and go select items. Perfect stop as you head to work. Coffee is the bomb and much better IMHO than the large corporate coffee across the corner.

I LOVE Gregory's!!! My go-to order is the Salted Caramel cold brew and the Vegan Deluxe sandwich. But I also enjoy trying the seasonal drops like the Cherry Blossom Matcha and Banana Breeze latte.

I am always on the look out for a nice coffee shop in the area. I stumbled upon Gregory's Coffee while in the area. The inside was bright and aesthetically pleasing. I loved the four-eye representation throughout the shop. I ordered an iced latte, the DMV sandwich, and banana pound cake and a hot chocolate for my daughter. The customer service was good and we received our order pretty quickly. The latte was delicious. The sandwich and cake were ok. Overall, I had a good experience and would revisit.

Yikes. This place has REALLY gone downhill. My partner and I often stop here Sunday in the late morning to get a coffee. Two weeks ago, there was one other person who placed an order before us. But we waited and waited for our order, and only one drink came. We finally asked what was going on, and they had forgotten to make the other drink ‍ Today, we came back. I didn't get a drink, but my partner ordered a blended drink. Does that look blended to you? Nothing like paying $7 for a half-assed beverage. Would really like management to turn this place around, because the customer service right now sucks. The drinks could be good! You just gotta have people willing to actually make them.

Generally, a fine place to go. The hot food is hit or miss unfortunately. I decided to try the Vietnamese coffee. The menu description said there was condensed sweetened milk in it. However, I simply received the coffee without any of the aforementioned milk. I'm assuming your employees don't know how to make this new beverage correctly because no one trained them? Idk.

I went for coffee and decided to give them a try. The establishment was very clean and I loved the decor. They do offer outdoor seating as well but all the tables were dirty so I had my coffee at the one that was the least dirtiest. Staff was friendly and service fairly quick. They offer coffee, lattes and smoothies. I tried the pumpkin latte (iced) but it wasn't the best latte I've had. Maybe the hot coffee is better but the latte was lacking in pumpkin flavor. They also have a variety of vegan food options available from sandwiches to sweets. I tried the coconut almond protein bite...it was like eating an almond joy.

This right here? Cold brew with a splash of oat milk?? Freaking double-d-d-delicious!!!

We were tired and needed a pick me up, so coming off of the Metro, we decided to come into Gregorys Coffee. They close at 5pm and it's 447pm. I know, I know... I too work in the service industry. I too have been irritated when a customer comes in when I'm already clearing down. But here's the thing... you're open until 5. If you want the last 30 to be clean up time, close at 430. This is a coffee shop, why would I wait more than 13 min for anything anyway? So we walk in and one person screams at us, waving their arms, that they're closed and we can't have anything but cold brews. Another customer walks in right behind us and another person working runs in front of her and screams at her to leave because they're closed. I'm about to walk out too because I'm confused. Is she making us leave too? Nope, she sternly reminds us that we can have cold brew. Cool, this is what we wanted and came in for anyway. This changed her attitude and she became very friendly with us. I thought this was weird but I also thought maybe she was caught off guard by some tourists who wanted to come in as they are clearing down. If this later attitude was the service we got from the start, this would have been a 5 star experience. It's 4 because I'm going to pretend the screaming didn't happen and because the cold brew coffee was EXCELLENT.

It's also a cool spot to work remote or taking a meeting. I hope the owner open more establishments in the future. Right now there are 2 locations (including Union Market) - I've had great experiences at both. A lot of the new or small coffee shops should follow their lead when it comes to coffee and providing excellent customer service. I love this place.

Even though we got our drinks and food to go, I couldn't help but admire the cute ceramics and overall aesthetic of the space. I ordered the lavender latte, which was good but didn't completely wow me. My husband and I also shared the bread pudding, and that was definitely the highlight. He gave it a 9/10, and I'd have to agree, it was delicious and the perfect treat to enjoy while walking around the pier. One thing to note is that prices are definitely on the higher side. I noticed the avocado toast was around $18, and while it looked nice, it didn't seem particularly special for the price. Overall, a very cute café with a great atmosphere and an excellent bread pudding. A lovely stop while visiting the Wharf.

Cause | Vibes | Outdoor Space…read more Cause - The sticker shock is real when you first see the prices. However, part of what you're paying for supports programs that provide coffee to people experiencing homelessness, while another portion goes toward local causes in DC. In that sense, your extra dollars are helping fund meaningful work in the community. Vibes - This place has great energy. There is a sizable indoor seating area along with a comfortable outdoor section. You'll see a mix of people catching up with friends, working remotely, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee. The overall atmosphere feels welcoming, open, and community-oriented. Outdoor Space - This is probably the highlight, especially on a nice summer day. It's an ideal spot for people-watching, soaking up some sunshine, and enjoying the neighborhood atmosphere. If the weather is nice, grab a seat outside and stay awhile. Pro Tip: Parking is limited, so plan accordingly or consider walking if you're nearby. Pro Tip: Ask the staff for their favorite drink recommendations. The inside was cute and had a decent amount of seating. They also have a patio, but with today being the warmest of 2026 they were all taken. I also got a pastry. Bacon, egg and cheese on brioche. Also really tasty. This place is clearly a neighborhood staple as I heard staff greeting several customers by name. Definitely glad we stopped in. If ever in the area, I will certainly be back.

The restaurant is super cute, with a fun cafe vibe, and it's an easy walk from the waterfront. We ordered the Colada Trio, which came with empanadas, cauliflower sliders, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious, and it came with three different sauces that were honestly all so good. I could've eaten those sauces with everything. We also ordered the Platanachos (plantain nachos), which were flavorful and such a fun twist on traditional nachos. They accidentally forgot the cauliflower and mushroom topping, but as soon as I mentioned it, they brought it out right away along with extra sauce. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a place handles them, and they were incredibly accommodating, which I really appreciated. It was pretty busy when we visited, and I noticed who I believe was the manager or owner helping clean tables and checking on guests. I always love seeing that kind of hands-on involvement. Great food, friendly service, and an awesome location if you're exploring the Wharf. I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

I don't typically go for counter service or QR code service restaurants, but stopped in for a quick bite before a concert at the Anthem. The Cuban sandwich is legit and very tasty with tender pork, soft fresh bread with a crunchy crust, and great pickles. And the stewed plantains were perfectly tender with a caramel like sweetness. Probably the nicest surprise was their reasonably priced cocktails that have a Cuban flair. The happy hour options are very tasty.
