Authentic Ethiopian coffee roaster that roasts its own beans from various regions. They do pour overs and offer other espresso offerings. If you are near the area... come check them out. Medium roast... which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I feel like a light roast is necessary to taste the beautiful notes in all the regional coffee offered. I love! I've been exploring coffee shops/cafes in the area to find a good place to get some work done uninterrupted and hopefully enjoy a hearty lunch. This is it! It's very cozy with ambient music and smells like a warm home. There were about 3 other patrons but a couple tables open, so it wasn't hard finding a spot to settle in. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a hot chai for lunch - chicken was served on ciabatta bread and super flavorful, very filling. Service was quick and polite, it seems like a mom & pops. I think they have a patio but it was a little chilly this day so I wasn't looking to sit outside. I was able to lock in for a few hours which was a huge plus. Great local spot for delicious coffee! The vibe is very homey and you can tell everyone that comes in is looking to relax or catch up with a friend. I didn't check if there was Wi-Fi, but I didn't notice anyone with their laptops or sitting to work. I got the jamocha which is a sweet chocolatey drink that reminded me of blended nesquik chocolate milk. It was really good and super creamy. So they roast the beans literally right in front of you. There is a coffee roaster that they have someone comes by and roasts the coffee that they serve and sell whole bean or ground. I ordered an Americano, and an egg, cheese, and bacon croissant, and they were both delicious. The coffee was literally just roasted so it was definitely one of the freshest americanos I had ever had. The place itself is super quaint and low key. I love the aesthetic, and local vibes that this place gives off. You can tell that there are locals who come by and know the workers, and there's a community in this place. I came here to work, and the music was easy to listen to while I worked, and while seating was very limited, I did find one with an outlet, so I will definitely be working here again in the future. read more

Found Sidamo by word of mouth through friends. I was super excited when I found out they have Ethiopian coffee! They roast their coffee daily and I can tell their coffee isn't like so many other places - super smooth and delicious! Having Sidamo coffee was the first time I actually 100% fully enjoy my almond milk latte! Excellent until the last drop. The coffee came super hot, just the way I like it in the morning. My friends ordered cold and hot teas and loved theirs too. Sidamo cares about the quality of the drinks they serve, and it makes a huge difference for the customer. Even the decor seems a bit eclectic, but the space is inviting. There are two small outdoor and four or so small indoor tables in terms of dine-in seating. WiFi is available, reliable, and of sufficient speed to check email, research for one's studies, and conduct work. The tea jar display wall behind the counter is a visual focal point and quite impressive. Food options are somewhat basic, but it appears the food is fresh and largely prepared on site.
