Why can't the people taking the orders use the corresponding number on the menu? For example, I ordered S6 Sesame Chicken from the menu section entitled "Chef's Specialties " for $12.45 and substituted it with the C6 Sesame Chicken under the menu section entitled "Dinner Combinations " which is priced at $10.25 and they charged me $12.45 anyway. While they do have tables to eat inside it's not very inviting. Still feels like covid times where they don't want you sitting down inside. For the area it's hard to find a place to eat it elsewhere unless going home. We love honey chicken but it was practicislly just fried chicken and overcooked pork rice. If they had just run out of honey sauce they could have just said that. It wasn't honey chicken at all. Chow mein was very good but if you're looking for vegetables in it this doesn't have it. It has a few but not strong fresh ingredients as you may have had before at other Chinese places. I wouldn't come back unless I had to. Go to the green tea on waters and Eisenhower. I've been looking for a good Chinese Restaurant in the area and I'm getting closer with this place. The portion was good and the price was good. My only complaint is that they used a sweet and sour base for sesame chicken (red instead of traditional brown). It is the wrong flavor profile. That said, it did taste ok. This has been my go-to spot for quick Chinese food for some time. My favorite is the General Tso's chicken with fried rice. It delivers good tasting food along with very reasonable prices. Whether ordering on site or over the phone, the service is always pleasant. If your food is ready before their estimated time, they will call you back and inform you that your order is complete. They also have giant crispy chicken wings that seem to be a favorite with many customers. A nice place for quick Chinese food. read more

I happened upon this restaurant on Yelp. My past experience with Chinese Food hasn't been great. So, I was very reluctant to try this place. But, the Yelp reviews made me take a chance. I'm glad I did! This was the most decent Chinese food I've eaten since moving to the South. The food was fresh and still hot when we arrived home. I ordered the Shrimp w/ Broccoli Combo and my Hubby ordered the Sesame Chicken Combo. My food was delicious. There was a lot of rice but it was tasty so I didn't mind. The prices can be a bit much. Dinner for two will run you about $25. which is pretty steep for two combination orders, minus drinks. This is a place I would go to whenever I get a crave for some Chinese food. The service alone is terrible. They're not very pleasant. I don't expect much from a takeout Chinese restaurant but this place has disappointed all three times we have ordered. It never fails that when we pick up our order, the bag(s) are stapled and tied shut. What's the big deal? It makes checking the accuracy of your order very difficult. All three times I've had to rip open the bags and all three times something has always been missing. It never fails. The last time it was an entire order of crab Rangoon. When we called to let them know, we were told the manager was on the phone. Meaning - we can't help you right now. Additionally, the food is never ready anywhere near the estimated pick up time. Expect to wait at least an additional half hour outside your pickup window. read more

I am so glad Green Tea 168 is back open! My family loves their Fried Shrimp Egg Rolls. They are packed with real shrimp. This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good like the General Tso's chicken is great always! The rice however, is hard and seems to be old. I don't know about you but rice is what I look forward to when ordering Chinese. I haven't figured out if the quality of the food improves depending on the time it was ordered or if the quality is effected by whether or not they are slammed. Either way, I'm too scared to take a chance because you never know if it's a good day or a bad one until you eat the rice. read more

Everyone who says the service is terrible is most definitely mistaken. We live near this restaurant so we come here all the time and it is great. It's just somewhere to go when you want take out. I love their rice and shrimp lo mein. My absolute favorite food they serve is the crab ragoons. I definitely recommend them. They come with this really good sweet sauce and the two combined are great. Plus, since we live near it and we have always lived in the area so we have gotten to know the people who work there, they have even memorized our usual order unless we change it. I don't believe in giving business 1 star reviews because I know how hard they work but this food has to be better. I had the house fried rice and wings. Missed with both. THE best Chinese food in the Berwick/Pooler/Southside area. Fantastic crab ragoon; not too sweet, very crunchy, not greasy. Great sweet and sour chicken, great honey chicken... They will charge you extra to order veggie fried rice with your combo plates, or if you want extra sweet and sour sauce. Other than that, everything is reasonably priced. There isn't anything special about Green Tea. it is a typical fast food Chinese place. Much like Panda Express. Difference is they REALLY skimp on their ingredients. I.e. egg fried rice, not even e complete egg in the small box, barely any in there. It is the same with their other items. All rice or noodles and very small amount of meat. Lastly, they have their young daughter working there. she takes orders in person and from the phone, runs the register, etc. To me this wouldn't be a problem but she is going into the 5th grade this year (that's a 10 or 11 year old) working after school every day. I've watched doing this for the last three or four years. That would put her at about 6 to 7 when she started working there. before that she would sleep on a little princess folding table in the corner. I though there were child labor laws for a reason.
