Ok. When I say it's the best -- I am not exaggerating. Delicious ! Prices are very fair. The lady was friendly. All around perfection. The Great Wall. Best Chinese ever. Cousin and I got a shrimp egg roll each. Then split sweet n sour chicken and chicken lo mein. Already ate off pictured plate and look how much there is. $11 each! Amazing

Typical authentic Chinese food. Most of their business is take-out of course, but occasionally someone will sit down in their dining area to eat. They actually have a fair amount of seating and it's always clean. Many locals come for the chicken wings! I like the crab rangoon wontons. No matter what I order, I always get them as a side. Portions are very generous (usually enough for a 2nd meal or to share with another person), and prices are very reasonable. Quality of food is reliable and fresh. Everything is made to order with quick service if you didn't call ahead. This restaurant is in an old shopping center with plenty of parking available. It's near the Food Lion and at the opposite end as the Gold's Gym. At night, many of the other businesses are closed so it looks abandoned to me. Don't let that scare you off though. All the locals come here. And cops are good about patroling the area so there aren't any issues. They don't take American Express, but they do take Mastercard and Visa. I'm sure they'll take your cash, too!

This place is not good. The sesame chicken was super dry and chewy and the fried rice was bland. The egg roll was okay, but that's about it!

I was definitely on the fence regarding eating at Old Li's Restaurant... Why? Preconceived ideas…read morebased on nothing basically. How wrong was I?! Old Li's is an outstanding authentic Asian restaurant. I loved it. No reservations required and plenty of tables. It's a very clean well ordered establishment. Also plenty of free parking right outside. The staff could not have been any better, prompt, attentive & very knowledgeable about the menu. The round table we sat had had a "lazy Susan" to facilitate the sharing of dishes. We ordered based on recommendations, personal taste & heat levels. The dishes were absolutely delicious. So good. I think the Peking Duck was the star of the show. If you are seeking Asian authenticity & phenomenal family service.. Old Li's in N. Charleston near Tanger outlet is your place to go. Of note the prices cannot be beat. A really nice change!!

Beautiful Chinese-themed Restaurant, nice relaxing atmosphere…read more Stopped in for lunch on Friday afternoon with a coworker; we were the only twoin the place for the 30 minutes we were there. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordered the stir fried beef and green pepper lunch, includes a soft drink. Food arrived quickly and had good flavor but lacking something to put it in the great cateogry. Love the boiled egg that was included. Overall a good visit, I'll return to check out something else on the menu.

This restaurant is a masterclass in balance. While the spice level is impressive, it never masks…read morethe deep umami and sweetness of the dishes. The ambiance is very charming, making it a great spot for a casual yet elevated dinner. The Drink: We tried the traditional infused Baijiu for the first time. It's a concentrated liquor that packs a serious punch! It's served in a vessel smaller than a shot glass and meant to be sipped. One of the staff members shared the history and craft behind it, which made the experience feel like a genuine cultural exchange The Food: The Hot and Sour Mushrooms are the unsung heroes of the menu. They were earthy, tangy, and the perfect palate cleanser between bites of the fiery Cumin Lamb Noodles. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

Great hidden Chinese spot on James island for those who love a little (or a lot of) spice!…read more Kewi Fei is a super charming gem with fantastic food and service. It's not huge inside so if you're sold on dinner here, get a reservation! The staff is excellent about explaining the menu and identifying choices that can dial up or down the spice. We ordered a variety of plates including the marinated cucumbers, lamb dumplings, crispy potatoes, green beans, and Dan Dan noodles. Everything was absolutely fantastic, but the lamb dumplings and noodles knocked it out of the park. Everything but the green beans had some level of spice, but nothing intolerable. The food comes out family style and many of the plates are on the smaller side so it's made for sharing. You can't go wrong with anything here, just prepare to drink lots of water while enjoying the amazing food!!
