Service is phenomenal, we have been coming here for years. Always kind and friendly on the phone and so personable when we pick up our order. Bourbon or sesame chicken, pork or veggie lo mein are all legit; you can watch the owner's grandmother make your food and rock that wok with such skill, it's unreal. We seriously love this place. Family owned and you can taste the old school family recipes. Prices are reasonable and portions are big, we always have leftovers for a second meal the next day. (Pop a fried egg on top of anything you have left the next morning, thank me later.) WE normally hit China Wok for this type food but it was Monday and closed. Drove the extra 5 minutes. I really thought I had discovered something new. Good quick service. But the food was just not up to par. We got hot and sour soup and took one sip and tossed it. Then we had sweet and sour shrimp and it was like onion rings instead of breaded shrimp. My wife totally did not like it. I was not too crazy about it myself. I wish I had stuck with the pork instead. This was just a so so visit at best and hopefully only due to bad timing. Got the sesame chicken, szechuan chicken and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were not crispy, in fact a bit soggy, and the filling only tasted like onions and cheese. I threw them away. The Szechuan chicken was not what I expected at all. It had a brown sauce that tasted just bland and salty. The chicken was very tender but it was just that with big chucks of vegetables. I ended up throwing it away. The sesame chicken was the only redeeming dish. Crispy and with a good caramel sauce. I don't get how people say this is the best Chinese takeout. Incredibly friendly staff (even if you're just getting take out) It's also the only place I've found in town that offers "spicy food" with heat. Most places version of general tso's takes like honey chicken but these guys put the work in. Vegetable fried rice has a plethora of veggies, including baby corn which was a nice touch And if you're feeling brave ask Charles for the spicy mustard, it'll knock you on your ass . Typical authentic Chinese food. Most of their business is take-out of course, but occasionally someone will sit down in their dining area to eat. They actually have a fair amount of seating and it's always clean. Many locals come for the chicken wings! I like the crab rangoon wontons. No matter what I order, I always get them as a side. Portions are very generous (usually enough for a 2nd meal or to share with another person), and prices are very reasonable. Quality of food is reliable and fresh. Everything is made to order with quick service if you didn't call ahead. This restaurant is in an old shopping center with plenty of parking available. It's near the Food Lion and at the opposite end as the Gold's Gym. At night, many of the other businesses are closed so it looks abandoned to me. Don't let that scare you off though. All the locals come here. And cops are good about patroling the area so there aren't any issues. They don't take American Express, but they do take Mastercard and Visa. This is a hole in the wall small foot print restaurant. I would love to recommend it due to it being a small family owned place - but I can't. As one enters the seating area is blocked off and the seem to only be doing take out. I placed and order and eventually received my order. We were in the a residence style hotel and I returned to it to consumer. Neither my wife or I could eat much of it. The "crab" Rangoon was the most edible. The rest we ate some and discarded the bulk of the meals. It just did not taste good. read more

Nice and clean restaurant. Friendly people! I always get the General Tso's Chicken Combination that comes with an egg roll, and it's always a solid choice. Usually can make two meals out of it. Don't forget all the delicious sauce packets they have to offered. If you've never tried the mustard...it is off the charts delicious!!! I usually grab 2 soy, 2 duck, and 4/5 mustards. They even threw in a few extra egg rolls for us. I also want to note that we have a little girl with compromised lungs, so we have to be very careful during the pandemic.
