I spontaneously stopped in for a brake estimate and left with new brakes. The price was fair and the staff was a pleasure. I didn't feel any pressure to pay for anything additional other than what I stopped in for, which is a breath of fresh air. The owner Greg was on site, introduced himself and was very friendly. Let's just start by saying this place really is awesome. I've be been looking for a place that I can trust to have my car serviced. All I needed was an oil change. But I'm usually pretty picky because I don't really trust mechanics working on my car. They always try to up sell a product or tell me I need a whole bunch of other services. Well I messaged the company and the owner replied with rates and information pertaining to my car only. So those were the prices. No gimmicks. On top of that he also offered me a 10$ off coupon for my first visit. I was thrilled. I have two little ones under the age of 4 and I usually make appointments for these kinds of things. The owner reassured me that I wouldn't need to. Upon arrival I was received by employee Robert who took my information and answered any questions I had about the service. He made it a point to let me know that the wait would be 15-20 mins and told me that at Grease Monkey they value my time. Which is AMAZING!!! Especially with kids. They put my car on the rack and offered me and my children complimentary drinks, popcorn, treats and coffee. I had only been in the building about 5 mins when the owner came in and introduced himself. He was professional, polite and friendly. Included with the oil change they did an inspection on the car to make sure fluids and filters were good. They noticed one needed to be changed and gave me the option to do so. The owner then added an additional 10$off coupon to the filter for me. I was in and out of the place in less than 20 minutes. Plain and simple the establishment is wonderful. They are so quick, professional, and really value customer service. I highly recommend anyone come to this shop. Kids or no kids you will be treated like family when you come visit Grease Monkey. I cannot say enough about these guys. Even though they were in walking distance to my house, I still would drive to my mechanic in magnolia. I have been through,3 times at different garages paying for oil changes but never getting them(at least filter was never changed,). I now mark the filters.One place saying I needed $350 to fix a/c,while another garage fixed it by putting new washer and tightening something $20.. So you can see why I was leery about trying someone new.Because I was short on time, I took my daughters Honda for new brake pads and the owner gave me a 10% discount for new customer .Quick friendly service. They even test drove it to make sure it was fine! That experience gave me confidence to take my son's Honda to change oil as it had been sitting about a year . The guy comes out says its all clear oil and still has at least 2000 miles till I need a change. Cool.I asked for new brakes then cause I thought my son said he needed them. The guy comes back says there is still 80% left on pads. He could have just done oil change, changed pads and charged me. But he was HONEST. Wow. So the next day I took my Saturn to get checked about antifreeze leak,( only $45 for diagnostic) and oil change. Everywhere else has been $100.But they are starting out and I guess giving good deals. I had high hopes for this place based on all the amazing online reviews. My car needed an oil change and inspection. I pulled up and when I told them what I needed, I was told they couldn't do the inspection since their computer was down for a couple of days and I would have to come back. Fine. Not a huge deal but still an inconvenience. Then when I asked about the oil change which was more critical, I told the tech that my vehicle required a synthetic blend oil. I was told that the only blend they had was a high mileage (my car is barely 2 yrs old with 14,000 miles on it) and it would be $59.99!!! I about fell over at that price. They offered a conventional oil or a lower price but my car requires the synthetic. Needless to say I left disappointed and got the oil change and inspection done for less than that at another equally nice shop that was more than willing to take care of me at an affordable price. read more

We use the Grease Monkey on Huffmiester and always have fast, excellent service. The office/waiting area is extremely clean and loaded with snacks and drinks. Everyone is very friendly and above all, honest. Any where else I go I always feel like I'm being hustled to add on services ect that are just not needed (funny how everything is falling apart when I'm by myself as a woman, but when my husband is present everything on the car is fine). To top off the exceptional service, they also provide a discount to the special needs families of Spectrum of Hope which we are SO appreciative of!! We spend a ridiculous amount of money on therapies, medications, and anything that will help our child so to get a little break anywhere we can is always very welcome. We started with oil changes and have been so happy with Grease Monkey that we now service anything we can with our car there. Highly recommend!! read more

One of the best oil places ever!! I went to get my oil changed in my Toyota and they offer so many great services for one reasonable price (the services I needed at Toyota would have cost me $150-180) it was less than half here. I normally go to Toyota for this stuff, but I thought I'd try them out. I stopped in and all the employees were friendly and informative. I don't know much about cars but they informed me about the services they were performing. The waiting area is roomy compared to other places and they also provide trail mix, sodas or water, coffee, and fresh baked cookies. They also created a cute kids area which was super helpful since my daughter normally gets bored. The kids area has a table for toddlers, puzzles, games, and also tablets for the kids. The receptionist also told me they are putting in a put put area for guest while they wait. One last great thing is if between oil changes you need your fluids topped off they will do it absolutely free and they don't hassle you or make you feel pressured to buy another service. I will return time and time again because of their great fast service and knowledge. Thanks grease monkey. The shop looks beautiful and your employees were wonderful! read more
