To any women or young people coming here (as with most mechanics of course), just beware of being ripped off. I came in asking for help repairing my blinker lever as it was loose and you cannot pass an inspection with a loose lever. The man assisting me quoted me $400+ to replace my lever. I bought the part myself from Walmart online for around $25 as well as the wrench and extender for around $10 from Home Depot. Replaced it in the Home Depot parking lot myself for less than $40 total. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is a complete rip off. My boyfriend took his car here to get the A/C fix. Paid $400 and within 24 hours it stopped working. The owner Frank refused to look at what he broke or maybe even stole off the car became argumentative and requested more money instead of being accommodating. So I just moved to Houston and had to get some preventative maintenance done to my mustang. They did a great job and their service is backed with a warranty. Honestly they are priced quite high but not compared to a dealership. The staff is super friendly and they always ask about extra service and give me updates along the way before doing extra work. I also bought a Honda Element that was pretty high mileage it cost a pretty penny but they changed the radiator, oil, filters rear brakes and rotors as the fronts were still good and did a compression test to make sure it wasn't ruined after the car overheated from bad rad. Again the cost is high but there service comes with a warranty that is really great and I never have to worry about shitty workmanship. These guys go above and beyond and they get your vehicle serviced fast!!! I cant thank these guys enough. Do Yourself and your car a favor and spend the extra money here. read more

They do a typically fast oil change and you get a free car wash. Seems every time I come in there is a little extra something though- you need a new air filter- nah I can stop by autozone for half the price- oh we'll change it for you- dude, really? I don't even need a tool to open it up and can get a top of the line filter for half the price, this time corroded terminals on the battery $23 dollars to clean it- ugh just do it I don't want it not charging or starting- I could have done that with water, baking soda and an old toothbrush but eh. This business is used by Discount Tire when the boys at DT break off a wheel mount stud. You call them to set an appt time for the them to replace the stud. It has a very large, comfortable and clean customer waiting area. They told me it would take about 1 hour for them to do their work. They were done and I was on my way before 20 minutes was even up. I took my car here for a diagnostic on a popping noise. Reliable said its due to front and back engine mounts, transmission mount and my sway bar links needing to be replaced. They estimated the cost to be $2323 which included an oil change that I needed. I couldn't afford that... so I paid for the diagnostic and the oil change. I ended up ordering the parts somewhere else and went to a different mechanic, which cost me $700 instead. That mechanic said my front and back engine mount, transmission mount and sway bar links were fine. I'm really disappointed in being lied to by Reliable and having to waste money on replacement parts that didn't even resolve the issue. Don't use this place. read more

So as it relates to our rides, me and my three older brothers knew we had to rely on our tools and ourselves to stay on the road. With that, i was never a fan of mechanic shops after having been burned a few times in ways a person shouldn't be burned. For the times i'm in a bind and time is not on my side i'll visit a mechanic shop. I come here b/c they treat me really well, they're direct and honest with me, and even though some of their work is highly priced they get it handled in fine fashion. My car had carburetor issues particular to the make and model of the manufacture's design. While I had trusted Reliable in the past the last repair required expertise with a computer reset only from a Nissan dealer. Not only did it not fix the issue another more expensive issue arose when we drove it off the lot going home concerning the airbags. There were no problems till this service was done on the engine to reset the timing. I questioned the dealer's technicians not Reliable at the time but I do not believe I was treated fairly through the process and the way I was handled. So I will not be back for service. read more

Very disappointed I took my truck for an oil leak and came back with my truck with the same oil leak and pay $1500 dollars they keep tellling my me that they keep finding more leaks I took it there so I don't have an out side mechanics guessing where the leak was and this shop did the same guessing not a reliable shop if you don't have good experience mechanics now I have my truck with the same leak as before they wanted to charge $1000 dollars more if you want to take a change with this shop is up to you but would not recommended. I've been coming to this shop for the last 4 years and they have always been very professional with their service. They recently relocated next door to the old shop. The new facility is much better because the waiting room is larger, they have free snacks (pop corn, chips, etc...) And a large TV so you can relax while they do their thing. The staff have always been very welcoming and transparent when it comes to your vehicles maintenance. They follow up with calls and let you know everything that needs to be done before they do it. I came in on a Tuesday morning with no appointment for an Oil Change, Tire Rotation and Air Filter Change. They were quick and efficient and the inside is nice and clean for customers to wait. The only negative I would say are the guy who was at the front wasn't overly nice or welcoming but I understand most people aren't too perky in the morning.
