They were wonderful and the food was divine. We were originally placed near a heater and they were so gracious to seat us on the balcony instead. My husband left his sunglasses and they promptly and kindly called. The food was out of this world. read more

Amazing. Was here during spring break with my kids and husband...for my youngest son we ordered the kids cheese pizza. Ahhhhhhhmazing!!!!!!!!! The crust was unreal it was so good. For my oldest son we ordered the kids calamari dinner which was equally amazing, fresh and perfect texture. We also had the butternut squash soup, scallops and lasagne. It was all impressive, flavorful, unique in texture and flavor. Not your typical Italian but a more modern version of Italian. The lasagne had kale in it!!! Genius! read more

We tried to get in for reservations and they only had 4:30, and if we didn't show they charge $20. So we skipped that and tried to put in an order for takeout of over $500 and they told us we couldn't order food to go, just tonight. No explanation. After we took 30 mins to get everyone in our order all lined up, put the order in online, entered the CC, THEN THEY decline it with no explanation, until we call and they tell us no to go food, tonight only. HUGELY disappointed. It was directly next to our condo and were so excited to try it. We got food instead from Cafe Terego and were very satisfied. read more

I have dined at Grappa many and times in the past and have enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately on my recent visit on Oct. 16th the service (from i believe the waitress name was BJ) was totally unacceptable. She wasn't sure what was on the menu and how it was prepared and never came around during. This is not what you expect from a restaurant in this dining class and for what they charge. The next night we dined at Riverhorse and the experience was top notch .....what you would expect. Maybe Bill White has more than can be managed effectively?? read more

Lovely ambiance at the end of the historic Main Street. I loved my seafood Del diabolo. Skip the duck confit- salty and mediocre at best. The bolognese Bianca was quite good and can't go wrong. The beet salad was also delicious. Nice wine list. Could use some Sicilian and Sardinian wines on the list. The bugiardo (valpoicella) - the more affordable sister of amarone, was excellent for the price point $68. I would skip the agniaco fois rosso $48. read more

Grappa - Seafood pasta-get it! Delicious - Italian Near Me - Park City, Utah

Wow! Great place with a curious and wonderful history of a brothel. We ate on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the late afternoon sun setting and warm summer breezes. Food was top tier and the service was ok and a bit rushed. Our server was nice although slammed and let it show. All good. I would return. read more

Bill White had a promotion for buy one entree get one free - so we were choosing between his restaurants, and I landed at Grappa as my final choice. We parked in the pay-to-park lot adjacent to the restaurant. Approaching the place, it's adorable - situated at the top of Main Street up on a hill, their property is full of statues and lighting, plus an awesome outdoor patio. Turns out that they are stacked (literally), three floors high of wait service. We were seated right in the middle against the railing on the second level. Our server approached us and walked us through the wine list, and offered us either still or sparkling water (charged). We both opted for a glass of Italian red wine, and enjoyed the complimentary bread and dip while perusing the menu. Mom landed on the horseradish crusted salmon, while after seeing yelp photos of the Lamb tagliatelle I couldn't possibly entertain the idea of ordering something else. I was blown away with this pasta. It was very reasonably priced, especially juxtaposed with some of the other entree options. It was a great portion size (I couldn't even finish) and the homemade pasta was a perfect al dente. The lamb was delicious and the sauce was perfectly seasoned - if not a little salty. Mom was not nearly as impressed with her entree. The "crust" lacked any sort of spiciness or kick that fresh horseradish carries, leading her to doubt the freshness. It was more of a coating instead of a crust, and added no additional flavors to the meal. The fish was served on a arugula puree and had a few blanched vegetables on the side, but for about $30 she was disappointed in both the portion size (no salad or side at all) and the quality of the food. Overall, without the BOGO, I'm not sure the entire meal would have been worth what I paid, but my plate was outstanding, and the service was stellar. read more

The food was good, not great, unfortunately the service was bad. I'm sad to write this review having worked in the service industry for over a decade knowing we all have bad nights. There are too many examples to list and our family really tried to give service the benefit of the doubt. In fact, all we wanted was for them to make up an excuse for the food taking forever, the orders being wrong, a glass of wine taking 30 minutes...a lie would have been much better than saying nothing at all. We still tipped, despite the service (which was a disservice), short behavior and being charged for items we didn't even order. We won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

One of the better Italian restaurants I have had the privilege of eating in. My wife ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and we were blown away at the flavoring within heir meatballs. I had the veal and it did not disappoint. We will be going back here again and again. The ambience is amazing and eclectic. Excellent place to eat and socialize. read more

Attempted to order tomatoes on my salad- no tomatoes. Ordered minestrone soup- no vegetables. Tiramisu was awful. Best part of our meal was the atmosphere and friendly waitress. Seeing that tomatoes, vegetables (in minestrone soup) and Tiramisu are 3 Italian staples- our family will not be going back there again. read more

OMG. The FOOD. YUP. But the best part of the experience was how GREAT our server KAREN was. WHICH IS WILD BECAUSE EVERYTHING SLAYYYYS. Great with suggestions and so warm and just... For lack of better word... GREAT! Benji and Star were so delicious. And that filet mignon... Order it. Ask for thousands of TOGO orders of it so you can eat it when you're back at your East Coast office wishing for meat that made sense. Eat here. Tip heavily here. Remember here. It speaks volumes and volumes. Just. Do. It. read more

Grappa is my favorite place to eat in Park City. The way it is lit up at night is stunning. The atmosphere is Tuscan cozy. It gets really crowded so make reservations. I like the second floor. The third floor is usually big tables and families so avoid that if you can. I had the pasta with meatballs Amatricana which sounds mundane but it was so delicious! Just the right amount if kick to it. Also fav is whole Branzino, a delicious fish from Greece. Wonderful every year when we visit Park City. read more

Amazing food and service. Appetizers, salads, and desserts very affordable for such an upscale restaurant!

First course, second course, third course, and wine list all great. Dessert, however, was the worst I have ever had. The sorbetto was so disgusting I couldn't eat it. Tasted like it had been scraped off the bottom of the walk in. Even my 8 year old couldn't eat her favorite dish, tiramisu. Tasted like an old dry cookie salvaged from the cushions of a leather couch, stuck In between a pre-fabbed egg shaped chocolate from a 7-11. We will go back, but will never eat dessert there again. read more

People who give this place a bad reveiw are crazy. Admittedly, we shied away from this place because it gets mixed reviews on Yelp. But then one Thursday night recently we wanted Italian in PC, and this place could take us, so we figured we'd give it a whirl. Grappa did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. Was it the best Italian food I've ever had in my life? No. But it definitely met my criteria for a great meal, particularly for Park City. The service was more than satisfactory too. Our waitress was attentive, our water and wine glasses were never empty, and our food arrived piping hot and as ordered. No complaints there. The space is very cozy, with big windows looking out on the snow falling on Main Street. We also had a great table right next to the fireplace too, which added a lot to the atmosphere. Don't believe the 1 and 2 star reviews...it's fantastic! read more

Went to Grappa for the first time and I absolutely LOVED this restaurant. I thought I couldn't love anything more than my amazing pasta entree, but then I saw and met Elizabeth. She is probably the best waitress I have ever had and she was always there to fill up my water not to mention my heart as well. This restaurant left me with a full stomach and amazing memories. read more

This was a decent Italian restaurant.. certainly not the best in terms of Italian food, but the atmosphere was very pretty and intimate. The lobster ravioli and the fondue were delicious. The duck leg in the duck risotto was very dry. I know duck is typically dryer than other meat, but even for duck it was too dry- and not seasoned well enough. Didn't enjoy my entree as much as I enjoyed the appetizers. All in all, it was a good experience and a fun first night in park city. read more

Grappas was recommended to us as a high end Italian restaurant that is heavy on the fish and light on the pasta. Perfect. As those traits more closely align with our vision of Italian food. We had a 7 pm reservation but we're an hour early. No problem. The austere hostess sat us on the 2nd floor where Sara took the best care of our dining experience. Truly when you have wait staff as caring and knowledgeable and professional as Sara, the term waitress seems woefully inadequate and demeaning. She new the menu, could speak to it and the specials with a knowledge only capable by someone who took the time and had tasted all the menu items. She was descriptive and passionate in telling us about the specials. Infinitive patient as we questioned her on the details. We took her at her word for her personal recommendations and we're not disappointed. We began with the mushroom soup and the red grapes with gorganzolla salad. The soup was rich and earthy, plenty of umani flavor without being to heavy on the cream. The grapes were sweet, the perfect counter part to the astringent cheese. Lightly coated with a nice vinaigrette. Rich nutty roasted walnuts. Excellent beginning. Next came our entrees. Osso bucco and red snapper. Both were as promised. The veal was roasted to perfection. Wonderful braised flavors and fork tender. The crisp green beans and creamy potatoes were perfect side items. The sauce was amazing. This is a dish where the time preparing it was not rushed. The 14 hour roasting process should be patented. The snapper was beautifully prepared and presented. The flavor was light and clean. The texture melted in your mouth. The detail obvious in the perfectly cubed carrots and celery only added to our appreciation of Chef and the entire cooking staff. We ended our meal with the classic tierra misu with espresso and biscotti. We could only manage a couple of heavenly bites before asking Sara to box it up for us. I would also add that Sara's timing in bringing our courses, refilling our beverages, answering our questions and clearing our table only heightened our experience. She was our culinary guide. I would also add that it was my birthday. We had traveled from Atlanta that morning, making our time from waking up to dinner 16 hours. I say this to underscore this review. That is a long day for anyone. If you have been there you know what I mean. I read some of the other reviews and am saddened that those diners did not share our experience. A well informed guest can best appreciate the work and care that goes into Grappos dining. The atmosphere and building were also appreciated. The details were present in every ceiling joist and bathroom fixture. If i could make one suggestion, it would be to offer a half portions option. The food was plentiful. Being over full at the end of the meal is not pleasant. But it was all so wonderful that we did not want to waste a single mouthful. Please note that this is a high end restaurant. If your are staying in the area there are half price offers available during certain seasons. Ask around. You will not be disappointed. My apologies for any misspellings read more

We came here during Sundance this year. I would say the food is good but the value is not. It was pretty expensive for what you get- $45 for truffle mac n' cheese? $15 for a boring mixed green salad? I realize Park City is expensive, but come on... On the plus side, the service was really good and the setting is somewhat romantic. The seating is a minus, the tables are uncomfortably jammed in there and they put us on the 3rd floor next to a kiddie table even though we'd had a reservation for weeks. They will definitely look you over at the front desk and figure out where you "belong." read more

Ambiance, service and food preparation all came together perfectly at Grappa. Our waiter, Steve, was friendly and quite attentive. The ambiance is "Tuscany comes to Park City" and although all the outdoor tables were full, we were seated in a cozy spot on the first level. The food was fantastic! We started with a cold soup and flat bread for apps with a chianti. The highlight was my husband's entree of osso bucco. It was slow cooked and literally fell off the bone. The polenta and sauce was a perfect complement. My scallops were sweet and cooked just right...not rubbery like many other places. The sauce and caramelized veggies also complemented the scallops. We are locals and will surely be back! read more

Excellent experience from start to finish! My fiancé and I were celebrating our anniversary and were seated at an intimate table for two overlooking Main Street. We started off with the ciopinno and perfectly fluffy focaccia bread with the addictive balsamic dipping sauce. I had the Mushroom lasagna with vodka sauce- holy crap, so yummy! And my fiancé had the NY dry aged steak with red wine Demi. Stephen was our server, and was attentive and personable, without hovering and also gave us a dessert on the house in honor of our special night:) We cannot wait to go back again! read more

Was in town for my brother's wedding and my wife and I wanted a nice, romantic place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I chose Grappa because my wife had never been there and I knew the outdoor dining in the summer would be wonderful. Our server was outstanding. He knew the menu well and even helped me navigate my first experience with grappa....the drink (word to the wise, it's strong stuff but totally worth a try after the meal). We shared the lobster ravioli as an appetizer and it was fantastic. Great sauce, FULL of lobster meat. Would work as an entree with a nice salad. For entrees my wife had the scallops - excellent. I know because she didn't want to share. That's a sure sign. I had the seared duck and risotto. Also amazing, and very filling. I had to take some home. We finished with the chocolate tartufo for dessert and some excellent coffee. Perfect finish to a great meal. read more

The utensils are sticky and gross. Steak was horrible - salty and the potato gratin was awful too. Weird they put pesto sauce on the plate.....the lobster ravioli was not great either. Some goods and not-so-goods... First off - our waitress Shelby was one of the best servers ever... We had some special requests and allergies - and the place was slammed with celebrities and their entourages (Lindsey Lohan at one table and Ann Hathaway at another, to name a couple) - but Shelby nailed everything, at one point bringing the chef out to confer... Shelby's busser was hilarious, too; great guy. The service overall was just outstanding. I wish I could say the same about the food. We spent $500 for 4 of us, and the meal was just okay... Not great. The chicken was over-marinated and greasy... The pasta average. Part of this is consistent with a ski town - they can get away with it. But they should do better at those prices. read more

What a truly amazing experience! Grappa is the finest restaurant you can go to in Park City Utah, and as far as I'm concerned, in Salt Lake City. It's beautiful, with the finest service, and the most unique and delicious food. We had a delicious parsnip soup with pork belly and apple, a divine cioppino with the most awesome bread, and I had the pork chop with ravioli and greens, and it was exquisite. My boyfriend had the salmon and omg. So tasty! We had coupons from Bill White so one entree was free and so was the corkage of the bottle of wine we brought. I heartily recommend Grappa in Park City Utah. read more

Amazing food, but my girlfriend and I were disappointed in the way our waiter rushed us. She kept coming up to us and we felt that she was trying to get us out as fast as possible. We feel that it ruined an important night for us. While we were still eating with food on all of the plates she came up and asked to take the plates. Not even 3 minutes after we were done eating the check arrived without us being able to order desert. read more

I really wanted to be impressed by Grappa - I'd heard good things and the restaurant itself was gorgeous. Unfortunately the food was just okay. No one at my table was wowed by any of it. I had the pasta bolognese, which they were able to substitute gluten free rice noodles. It was a mix of lamb, beef and pork. I'm not a fan of lamb but couldn't really taste it. The food was okay but I was still hungry afterwards. I had ordered a side of veggies because my dish didn't come with any - it was mostly carrots and they were still hard and coated in oil. Not too enjoyable when you have to wipe your food off. My husband had the steak - the mashed potatoes that came with it were really good. Crispy on top and very flavourful. He also had hard oil coated veggies on the side. I can't quite remember what the others had. One ordered the duck while was a super oily dish that she barely ate, and one ordered osso bucco which was deemed poorly made and inauthentic. The service was ok but she took so long to bring our credit cards back with the papers to sign. Overall it was a very blah experience. Don't think I'd return. read more
