I would give this place 3.5 stars for my experience here. I was super excited to try this place out, but it was a little underwhelming. I love the experience of going up the vernacular to the bar area and the hotel and restaurant is very nice in general. The drinks and the food looked good. This is definitely the type of places I always go to with this kind of vibe. The drinks were good and very cute! For the food, I go back-and-forth because it wasn't very good, but it was good for bar food. But then it's really expensive for bar food so I would expect more... for escargot at fancy hotels or places in general I expected to be better and just like a few pieces. This felt like it was quantity over quality. The brussels sprouts were good, I would say that was the best food item that we tried. I was really excited about the escargot, so I'm a little disappointed. Our server was very nice and helpful! It was great service in the bar area, but the staff throughout the hotel getting there was not the friendliest. Our experience at the St. Regis Deer Valley was, overall, lovely. The food was outstanding--thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and truly memorable. We were seated by the window, and the sweeping mountain views paired with the elegant interior created a serene and elevated dining atmosphere. While the experience inside was exceptional, the arrival left a bit to be desired. The hotel entrance felt somewhat understated for a property of this caliber, and on a 35-degree evening, the outdoor heaters were not in use. When I inquired, the response suggested they are only turned on when it is "really cold," which felt slightly misaligned with the level of comfort and attentiveness one expects from a St. Regis experience. That said, the cuisine, ambience, and views were truly wonderful. With a more polished and welcoming arrival experience, this would easily be a five-star destination. read more

Gave the St Regis a second chance after a disappointing first visit two months ago. I just don't get this place. You're the freaking St Regis! Why is there gross food all over the patio? Why does the hostess not pull out the heat lamp so we can actually get to our seats after she dumps us at a table? Your sister bar in Manhattan is perhaps the greatest cocktail bar ever made - where Dali himself once spent his final happy hours! This is basically a Mariott with 2 fancy funiculars. Went to the St Regis because had worked there for a few days on a corporate event and really liked the food and atmosphere. Took me a minute to look around and decided to get lunch at the bar near the patio as it had snowed and not seating there. Service was good and the food was excellent. I ordered the lobster roll with a Caesar salad instead of fries and a local beer brewed for the hotel. Oktoberfest bier and it fit my liking. They have a few beers specific for them and the usuals and quite a few special cocktails which I would have liked to try. Overall very happy with the restaurant and the price is not bad compared to others in town. And the ride up the funicular overlooking the ski runs is an added treat. If you can, definitely try to get a seat by their fire pit! It has stunning views, and is so warm and cozy. You take a gondola from the parking lot up to the St. Regis Bar, which is fun. It's heated and enclosed and makes for a unique experience. We were here on a Sunday during the off season around 2pm, and we snagged the last two Adirondack chairs in front of the fire, and it was lovely. Definitely the place to be when you come here! It was almost even too warm, because it was maybe about 50 degrees outside when we visited and the sun was out. It would be perfect when it's a little bit colder outside. We just came here for drinks, and the drinks are definitely on the pricier side, which is to be expected for the location. Our drinks were $22 each. They have food on the menu as well, which I'll definitely come back to try again sometime, but again, it's on the pricier side. Service was great, our server was attentive and friendly. It sounds like it gets really busy here during the height of ski season, so try to come during the off hours if you can. read more

The ambience and service were very nice. We sat in the brasserie portion, which had better views and was less loud and more family friendly. We had a nice window seat. I foolishly ordered the cheeseburger and it was decent but wish I ordered one of the mains. My friend tried the lamb taigalette and other friend had the short rib polenta. We were pleasantly surprised. My favorite was probably the wagyu cappricio appetizer. It was a good combination of flavor and the bread piece was warm and delicious and paired well! Yes, they're expensive, but they're good, and I only need 2. The rooftop area is beautiful. Taking the funicular up from the parking lot was unique. We shared the truffle pizza, and it was lovely. We really enjoyed it here. Zero complaints, and we will definitely be back. We called and asked where we could park. The woman said we had to valet. We called back to confirm because many reviews here said they parked in the free Deer Valley lots across the street. The other person said we could park in these lots. What a beautiful establishment! We took a ride up to the Saint Regis restaurant bar patio in the funicular! Fun little ride with great views! We were seated right away and Jeremy took care of us with expertise and a fabulous personality! Very attentive and knowledgeable, thank you Jeremy! We sat by the nice little rock fireplace. We started with some freshly shucked raw oysters and the shrimp cocktail then went onto the cheese charcuterie tray, which was on a cute little lazy susan you could spin around. The oysters were very fresh and the shrimp were a good size and the cocktail sauce was the perfect combination of the ingredients. They give you a lot of great cheeses on the charcuterie, blue cheese, a pile of triple cream brie and a nice manchego, some nice little side peppers and pickled peppers as well. All delicious! And with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc, it was the perfect spot to grab some appetizers and drinks. Looking forward to coming back! read more

Great views. Great wine list. Huge fire pit. Lots of sun. Perfect spot for after business meeting cocktails on beautiful spring Friday afternoon. To get up to the bar you have to take a Swiss tram called a Funicular that is interesting and unusual the US. Apparently funiculars like this are common in Switzerland. This made it a unique visit. I heard from staff that it can get backed up during ski season or if one is not working. On the way up in the Funicular, met a nice lady that handles real estate in the area. She said that her and husband along with a partner own a Napa winery and suggested we try her Napa Valley Cab Sav "Parallel". Great suggestion and wonderful full bodied satiny cab, with modest fruit. Loved it. I saw a lot of bad reviews and see how that could happen in busy season. We showed up after ski season and weather was great. All good at the St Regis on this day! read more

Man, is it disappointing how far this spot has fallen! My first couple of visits to the St. Regis were nothing short of spectacular---from the breathtaking ride up the funicular to the resort to the well-mannered service, it was extremely impressive. Fast forward to 2022 and things are a mess up here! Mind you, the prices are as astronomical as ever (as a benchmark, most of their cocktails are in the $25 range), but the food quality, the service and the attention to detail one comes to expect at a luxury property are all in the crapper. From our entrance into the restaurant area, where there was no host in sight for at least 10 minutes, to our meal, for which we waited an hour for the food to arrive, it was one ringing disappointment after another. The cocktails were probably the highlight of the evening. St. Regis' signature bloody mary is an outstanding version of the cocktail classic. I also enjoyed their passion fruit whiskey fizz, though it was on the sweet side of the flavor spectrum. My wife's coq au vin was surprisingly delicious. The bird was roasted with baby carrots, potatoes and artichoke hearts in a lovely wine sauce and an added side of whipped pomme pûrée was creamy and buttery. My seafood "tower," by contrast, was more like a seafood shanty. For nearly $70, it came with half of a lobster tail, two gulf shrimp, two sad, flavorless oysters and a passable scallop ceviche. Given our evening's experience, we just decided to pass on dessert altogether. This visit will likely mark our last foray to the St. Regis. The atmosphere promises luxury and finesse, but the execution resembles an overpriced, disorganized wreck hanging onto its storied reputation. read more

The Family and I stumbled upon the St. Regis while exploring Park City. Obviously, the Funicular grabbed our attention so we assumed there was a bar at the top. When we arrived, it was closer to 2 p.m. The hostess said there would be a thirty minute wait for a seat on the terrace. All we wanted was a glass of wine and some oysters. Once we were seated, it took about ten minutes for our server, Abram, to acknowledge us. Then he didn't return until about fifteen minutes later and finally took our order. Two glasses of Rose($19 each) and a half dozen oysters($28). Then it took almost a half hour to get our oysters. Basically every time we have guests in town we take them up to the St. Regis bar for a drink. The drinks are extremely good. I recommend trying one of their bloody Mary's. They are exceptional.
