My office, when I'm not at home in my fuzzy socks, is at Granite Park. I always enjoy when it's time to visit the office because I know it will be a fun experience. Of course, they maintain the grounds and the facilities well-that goes without saying. But what sets this place apart is what they do beyond that. Farmer's Markets, group fitness classes on the boardwalk and other fun activities that make you want to step away from your desk and go join the fun. I love the variety of restaurants nearby that cater to the lunch crowd as well as the folks chasing a happy hour deal. Absolutely love this park - it has all things and everything you need for the perfect day. I've been here a few times over the last few years. We decided on Easter brunch in the area and got great parking. The day we were there they even had a few vendors outside and a DJ playing some music. I am not sure if the local outdoor vendors is an all the time thing but I really want to come back on a day when I'm in the mood to do some shopping. The boardwalk is perfect to take photos, or just come out here and relax while sitting on of their colorful lazy chairs. All of the restaurants in the area have outdoor patios so you can dine while doing lots of people watching. Park in the parking garage since it is free. Walk around and just enjoy the great outdoors! You could likely bike or run in the area as well since where is lots of space to move around. I love how easily accessible this area is to the major highways so I'll be back and soon and bring buddies. read more

The Boardwalk at Granite Park is a hidden gem nestled in a secluded area and it's going to get popular fast. In a city as busy as Plano, this concept was needed. The Boardwalk connects the office buildings to retail, hotel and dining. Seems like local businesses will bring in the lunch crowd and the weekends will bring in families. The Boardwalk was relaxing especially sitting along the pond. We were not ready to leave this peaceful hangout. I personally look forward to this location offering special events suitable towards the theme, maybe some live music, especially around Christmas. This will quickly become another new exciting dining destination in Plano. Looks like a few restaurants have been open for a while like Chip's and a few will be opening soon like Union Bear. We tripped across one of the newer restaurants recently opened, Hook Line. We loved everything about this place! Hook Line is located within The Boardwalk. Plenty of parking, spacious patio area (my favorite place to sit if the weather's nice), and their indoor seating also opens up to outside. We look forward to coming back and trying more restaurants.. read more

Fun environment and new beaches look! There is nothing like it in the surrounding areas. It's now huge but it does have a lot of restaurants to chose from, plus a few empty spaces waiting for new tenants. You can stay at their Hotel that is onsite and try all the bars and restaurants. They even have a shuttle bus that takes you to Legacy West and The Shops of Legacy. You can go online to review their schedule and operations. Kids will truly enjoy the boardwalk experience and beach seats. read more

Adorable area in Plano filled with some of the best food you will ever have. The lights are on until midnight every night and there is a fire pit that is always lit. I went during the weekday and it wasn't crowded but I can imagine it getting crowded over the weekends. There is parking as well. It is walking distance from the Hilton. read more

Next time I will take lots of photos of friends and family enjoying the sunshine on a nice winter day. Lots of folks just out to get lunch and see and be seen along the boardwalk. Today there were a number of booths set up along the walkway with food samples, honey, crafts and jewelry. read more

I've been to a few the restaurant over the past couple of years. I reviewed them all separately. We went there this morning to have breakfast and lo and behold there's a valet service. All the closest parking spots are now valet. Any other establishment pretty much keeps their valet parking further from the entrance. What this does is makes the people who have a hard time walking have to either valet or park much further. The parking situation here is lacking. Too many businesses, not enough parking. The restaurants have their own issues. Too small to seat all the patrons. This is a cool hangout spot with nice scenery...so I wish they add more tables outside of the restaurants since there is usually a wait just to sit down with your food to eat. read more

We had a lovely evening enjoying desserts on the patio of Edith's at The Boardwalk at Granite Park! This entire area was such a fun and lively environment, great for drinks with friends but also family-friendly! There are numerous restaurant options and lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. We chose to sit outside to hear the amazing live music and enjoy the sunset. I definitely want to return to here to try all of the eateries they have! read more

Love the atmosphere and areas for the kids to play. Everyone is friendly and watches out for all the kiddos!

Would never know that it's here. It's a very nice chill spot with decent restaurants and drinks. It's needs a few more restaurants but overall the ambience and man made lake is what makes it worth the trip. read more
