Because of the mix reviews, I was almost hesitate to not go. But hey, you won't know till you try right? For being a newly Texas resident, I give this salon 4 stars!! It's been very stressful just trying to find a decent salon. And I am PICKY! Lol. I will tell you if I don't like the shape, color, or even if you're trying to sell me to do something else I don't want to. And I don't like a tech who talks to me wanting to know my business. I rather you make small talks and let your work speaks for yourself. I ended up with Leon and I very much appreciated what he did. 2 of my nails broke, but I refused to go short and he helped guide me to what he can do. He also helped me pick out a nice color, a better color then I was wanting I must say. My only reason for 4 stars is the fact that he didn't ask if I wanted a manicure or not, it costs more. And I usually don't have much cuticles to where I'll need the whole shebang. If I could do 4.5 stars, I would. The atmosphere is very nice and their pedi chairs looks very comfy! I've been here 4 times, because my apartment complex gets coupons in the mail. The place is clean, big, and has luxurious looking decor. I'm not a nail salon expert when it comes to prices and services, but they charge $5 for a cuticle trim which I don't like. I thought it's common sense to trim a customer's cuticles when they come in for a manicure, but I guess not. My first time here I thought the employee was thoughtless, but I didn't find out until my 4th visit that they charge for that. I usually love this place but my last visit left me with nails cracking just after 3 days. I always get the dip and my nails have lasted up to a month (aside from attrociois growth, the dip/color handled like a charm. I went Sat and the tech, Dennis, didn't seem to be as trained. He filed most of the dip off, they're already cracking and the top coat is already off. They do have some great techs, but it's frustrating to pay so much and hope the job is good... I've been to this place twice, I wanted to give them a second chance in case the first time was just a fluke. Spoiler Alert! It wasn't. The first time I went in with a friend on a Friday afternoon. I was getting a Mani/Pedi she was just getting a pedi. They have us pick our colors and usher us to the chairs then offer us wine, which got them a third star btw. The place didn't appear to be too busy as there were several workers just walking around or sitting in the empty chairs. The pedicure pampering part was nice, but when it came to the cutting, shaping, painting of my toes I was highly disappointed. The lady never asked if I would like my nails cut down, she just assumed they were supposed to stay the same length. Yes, I could've spoken up but I was too distracted by the guy doing my manicure at the same time. Also, when I got home I noticed there were parts of my toes that didn't even have polish on them. Secondly, I still had a calluses on my feet. I know they won't go completely away, but they weren't even any smaller. It was just a disappointing experience with the toes. Now for the manicure part, I've already said they did it while I was getting my toes done, so it felt like I was being rushed out of the salon. If I'm spending $100 for the organic green tea pedi and a set of dip nails I'd really like to enjoy my time there. But because the manicure was done while I was getting my toes done I never got to fully sit back and relax. It wasn't cool or enjoyable, but at least I had free wine. The dip nails looked good, but there was a ridge across one of my nails because it was done unevenly and he never smoothed it out. Drove me BONKERS, but I was going out of town the next day and didn't have time to get it fixed. The second time I visited the salon I just needed to get my dip nails taken off and a new color put on. First, the guy that did them kept hitting my nail bed and cuticles with the grinder wheel because he wouldn't be paying attention. I would flinch, he would apologize, pay attention for 2 seconds then do it again. On my thumb he actually broke the skin so when he put the acetone on them to remove the old nails it HURT! All he could say was so sorry, so sorry. Then when it's all said and done there's no real pampering to the hands. No oils, no soaks, no massages nothing. My hands came out dry like in winter, and this was in June. you've got to pay extra if you want any of that, which I might have had I been given a menu of available options for the manicures. Let's just say this place got two stars for service, and one star for the free wine. I doubt I'll be back, but at least it was a clean facility so they've got that going for them. read more

Worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I got the classic pedicure and classic manicure with gel nails. The girl sliced my toe open while filing my nail, which caused my big toe to bleed for several minutes. My toe is still throbbing from the pain several hours later. Then the manicurist caused two fingers to bleed while doing my cuticles. She then sliced the side of another finger open while filing my nail at the end of my gel manicure. By far the most painful manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I've never been cut more than once, let alone four times within one appointment. The massage for both was less than mediocre. HORRIBLE! I recently moved to Euless and thought I'd try a new place out since the last two places I went to were a little further. When I got there, they were pretty busy but seated us rather quickly. I got the heavenly pedicure and the heavenly manicure. My husband got the heavenly pedicure but a basic manicure. There was nothing "heavenly" about this. The guy who did my pedicure was lazily doing it. He clearly was checked out by this time. (I got there at 5:30PM and they close at 7:30. I called before I got there to make sure this would be okay, and they assured me I was fine and that they stopped taking people around 7PM, and "[i] would be done before then." ). He just applied the scrubs, oils, and lotion, didn't massage but quickly washed it after application. The pedicure didn't last as long as it should have! My husband, who was sitting next to me got a real pedicure, however his lady kept disappearing randomly for minutes! I'd have to tell him to cut my cuticles or scrub my calluses properly. The manicure.... horrible isn't even the right word for it. The lady was dozing off and was clearly not happy she had to do my manicure. She lazily and quickly did everything. She messed up the nail polish on a fingernail, and quickly tried to walk away like she didn't do anything. When I pointed it out to her, she was clearly not very happy about having to re-do it so she grabbed my finger and started applying top coat trying to "fix it" which messed it up even more. She then said to let it dry and it'll look normal, before quickly walking away. It had streaks and the nail polish was super chunky by now. The receptionist and I made eye contact after a few minutes so I asked if she could get the lady (who has now disappeared) because the nail polish wasn't drying, and looking horrible. The lady come and quickly removed the nail polish, did one layer, got up, added stuff to my bill, printed it and gave it to my husband. She then quickly applied the 2nd coat and disappeared for 10+ minutes. My husband's basic manicure started and finished before she came back. When she came back to apply the top coat, she was fully packed up with her belongings and in her jacket, just ready to leave. I waited a while for my nails to dry because I didn't wanna have to go back to get them re-painted, and they don't carry the quick dry spray. I thought they looked okay until I got in my car and saw that the other side wasn't done well at all ‍. If I'm paying for a "heavenly" service, I expect it to be good. He definitely paid attention to detail to make sure my nails turned out fabulous!! First time going there & felt like they treated me terrible because they thought I'm young & won't tip! As soon as I walked in & was helped to my nail tech, the nail tech was being rude & didn't even act like she cared what I had to say. Didn't say one word to me UNTIL I tipped her at the end & she acted like nothing was ever wrong. There are enough pedicure chairs for at least 20 people at a rough guess - the massage chairs are fabulous. The technicians are very polite and cater to exactly what you want. I typically come here so it makes me sad to write this but things have changed. I used to recommend people here, I've even had people come in with me. I stood at the front- signed in, no greeting while everyone talked in plain site visible working on each other's nails. I selected the basic pedicure as I didn't have a whole lot of time. I work in the industry....so I may be picking but I know the steps that are supposed to be done. Pedicure water was cold, never asked if I wanted my toenails cut- she just did it, no cuticle softener- she just stated cutting away at them. Hot towels And the "massage", I wish I could post videos on here....because yes I videoed it. It was so speed racer fast like rubbing lotion on my legs that I thought she was trying to start a fire between my skin and her gloves. She even asked when it was over "feeling great?". EVERYTHING was rushed and rough. I love heavy hands, if your going to use pressure for a massage but she was moving so fast that it felt more mean than anything. The interior is very clean and luxurious. It's a very large nail salon. There are a lot of pedicure chairs and manicure stations. They have a large staff so they are capable of doing a lot of people at once, which makes it easy if you go in groups or have a time crunch. You won't wait long if you wait at all. They have a huge polish selection with all the top notch polish brands. The pedicure was very relaxing and the staff was very friendly. They do offer free beverages, including alcoholic beverages. They also offer additional services as well, but they are quite new so I have not had the chance to experience these other services yet. Prices are reasonable. read more

My first time at Grand Nail Salon was OK - I got a mani and pedi. The pedi looked good until I got home and looked at it in better light. There were whole sections of my toenail that were missing polish. However, I did use a light pink polish, so maybe it was hard for the tech to see. Also, it is kind of dimly lit in the salon. Further, my toenails bled where she clipped the skin...and it was a little sore for a few days. The mani turned out better - I got a gel manicure and it lasted just short of four weeks! Awesome. However, when I returned to renew the mani, they turned me away because of a two-hour wait... So, I went to a different salon and got my gel mani and it lasted about four weeks as well. At the end of the day, I will most likely not return to Grand Nail Salon - pedi was painful and sub-par and the gel mani can be obtained at other salons (without a two hour wait). read more

I got my nails done for prom, and I really wish I would've went somewhere else. I had went to get a fill, and a nail replaced bc I had cracked it the day before. The nail that had been replaced was Shaped very poorly, The nail was going in an upward angle. When I went to Tell the manager/owner he told me that that's how my natural nail went. But he was still kind and replaced my nail and it looked way better. So when I left I really wasn't mad I was a happy customer. But when I got home I realize the glue they used for my rhinestones was drying white!! Not clear but white, so you could see where they put the glue. I later also realized that the gel polish on my thumb was starting to peel, and then it eventually peeled completely off! Also the polish on one of my toes peeled completely off too!! And now I don't have enough time in my schedule to get them redone or fixed bc I have other things to do to get ready for prom (hair, makeup, pics, etc.). The nail technicians do a good job however their managers are not fit for the job. And the business is understaffed and you always feel rushed. They often turn people away or ask them to come back at a later time. Today the manager was extremely rude to me because I was 10 mins late for my appointment which I apologize for. Then I asked to see the nail color book because I wasn't sure if wanted to change my nail color-- & this same manager then got really irritated & stated "Oh my GOD" and rolls his eyes. I will never recommend or go back to this place EVER. I will happily spend my money with a company who appreciates it. The manager is horrible and needs to leave or be retrained. While visiting my sister and niece in Dallas, my niece suggested we go get a pedicure on 7/23/17.It was a very nice place. My only complaint was the young girl who gave me my tropical pedicure. She must have been new. She removed my old toe nail polish but didn't remove it all, leaving several toes with the old polish around the outside of the toe nail. Then, when she trimmed my toe nails, she didn't ever file them. She just cut them straight across and never filed the edges to smooth them out. She only buffed the nails. When she massage my legs, she was very rough and the next day, I had a reaction to the salts and the pineapple she used while exfoliating my legs. She also ruined my new denim capri's that I wore when she rubbed the oil above my knees. The receipt has the name Julie T#:005 on it, I assume that her. Overall a very pleasing experience. I went to this nail salon hoping to find a salon that I can call home. Since moving to the area in May, I have been to four different nail salons. Am I picky? Of course, we are talking about a part of my body that is seen by all. I have a pink and white overlay manicure on my nails. I appreciate natural beauty and like for my nails to be well manicured yet have a natural look. I went to a salon two weeks ago, and was so disappointed because the overlay was entirely too thick! Simple tasks like scratching a mosquito bite or popping the lid on a soda can wear more difficult. My nails were just too thick. I arrived at this salon around 9:05 AM on a Saturday morning. It is supposed to open at 9 AM, but the staff was just arriving and unlocking the doors when I arrived. Upon first glance, I was very impressed at the size of the facility, the number of workstations, the friendliness of the staff, and the ventilation system. I don't prefer to leave the nail salon with a headache, so ventilation is important. I was immediately escorted to a workstation where a very friendly and helpful technician named Eva assisted me. I Explained to her that I like a very natural manicure and prefer them pink and white, but th manicure that I currently had was disappointing. I pointed out the flaws in my manicure and asked how she suggested correcting the problems. She gave me several options that she was able to explain to me. I could tell she was well-informed and knew her craft. Bonus points to those who master their craft! We decided on a pink and white fill-in option. She was able to work the problem spots on my previous manicure and thin out my nails to a more natural look. Also being a stickler for time, Eva was able to perform this transformation in a very limited time. I was in and out of the salon in less than 45 minutes! I appreciate efficiency. It is usually a bi-weekly ritual for my daughter and I to go to the nail salon. We will definitely be coming back to this one. Being military Born and bred, I am slow to call somewhere home, but maybe after a few more visits, this will be home. read more

OVERPRICED, CHARGE FOR EVERY LITTLE THING!!! I went to Grand Nail right when they opened for a fill a few times and just went back to get my nails filled because I remembered that they did a good job BUT let me just say this, their prices are WAY to expensive (reminded me why I stopped coming here) they charge for EVERY little thing, I have Stiletto nails (dip) and they charge for how long your nails are or how long you want them and the shape you want!!!! At any other nail place I've been to, I've NEVER got charged extra for that!!! On top of that they don't even tell you the exact amount youre paying until they start doing your nails, when I got there I asked how much it would be before sitting down and I was told it was $35 plus $10 for the shape and how long they were, right there I should've left, and went somewhere else but I didn't..I sat down and it was only AFTER the tech started my nails and taking the color off is when she claimed that I needed a new set, and she said it would be $50 (which was fine because usually I pay that much for service and new set if needed at any other place) but then out of nowhere she claimed to have "forgotten" to tell me it's another $10 because of the removal, and as previously stated I've NEVER got charged extra for any of this at any other nail place, the most I EVER paid for a new set AND service was $45 maybe $50 at most but overall I paid $60 here when I got told $45 and when the owner/host or whoever was working the front counter walked by and the tech told her the price to charge, she didn't care at all or try to apologize for giving me the wrong information and try to fix it. if I knew it would be that much I would've gone somewhere else. the tech that did my nails did a good job and I love them but telling me one price then adding another $15 and only telling me after starting my nails is really unprofessional. I came in as a walk-in needing a pedicure on a Sunday afternoon. They were able to take me immediately. Nikki performed my pedicure. She was thorough and checked routinely to see the temperature was right and I was comfortable. The hot stone massage that came with the pedicure was amazing. My feet looked fantastic when I left. I will definitely be coming back and using Nikki again. Plus the pricing is extremely reasonable for the services you receive. The salon is very clean and welcoming. read more

I've been here once before and have had an regular experience that can be experienced at any salon. At my recent visit I decided to try NexGen nails and asked that they be short due to my work. I felt a cut while the gentleman was filing my nails and said " I think I have been cut, it burns" his response was "well you wanted your nails short", no apology just an accusation that it was my fault because I needed my nails short. I will not go back, I easily pass up 10 nails salons when I go to them and I'm sure they would apologize for cutting their clients. read more
