Probably some of the worst nails I have ever gotten done. Thick, misshapen, and uneven. Some are even crooked. They look worse than press on nails. I'm so disappointed. I also had amazing grown out length I wanted to retain and made this very clear, and she shaved them down to nothing. She also applied the dip so far from the cuticle that they look grown out on day 1. Now I need to try and get these fixed at a salon where people know how to do nails. AVOID. read more

I had Gel-X nails done and was disappointed with the overall quality of the service. While the shape is decent, the finish is not what I would expect from a professional Gel-X application. The nails are uneven and not smooth, and the polish around the cuticles is messy and poorly cleaned up. There is visible product flooding at the cuticle area, which makes the set look unfinished and unrefined, especially up close. Gel-X nails should have a smooth surface and clean cuticle work, and unfortunately this set did not meet that standard. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve attention to detail and technique going forward. read more

Beware of upselling. I was getting $36 pedi and then they ask what gel color I'd like. I pick a glittery one and they tell me it won't show up do I want another color underneath it I say ok. I paid $20 for that mistake. Nails are good but I wasn't trying to spend that much. read more

I moved here about 2 years ago and had been searching for a nail tech for a long time. I finally found her! Helen is the best. She's so sweet and does a fantastic job. I have been to a few salons that remove my gel with a drill. I didn't have a good feeling about it and sure enough, my nails were wrecked. I call Helen my nail doctor :) she fix my nails. They do not remove gel polish with a drill at Grand Nail and believe me...this is a major plus. I like a gel manicure best b/c I think it looks more natural. First timer here! It was 2 of us, and before tip, our total came out to $150, which wasn't bad considering the last place we went to. As far as the service we requested, we asked for 2 polish changes on our toes, seeing as how it wasn't that long ago when we got a pedicure at another salon. We had to soak off the dip powder on our nails before we could then get an overlay with gel polish on our own natural nails. Overall, we are satisfied with everything from the ambiance to the amount of time it took us to walk in and be started on, to getting the shape and color we asked for, and it being done right. There were complimentary beverages offered, and the customer service provided was on point. We will certainly be returning it felt so refreshing walking out satisfied. I feel awful having to do this but i shouldnt because the way i was treated here. Ill leave the individual out who did my nails but it started from the beginning when she started putting the tips on my nails and said this is going to be an extra $25. With an ombre and extension tip. When the paper says $15 for ombre and $5 for extension tip. I was here with my friend and I was already feeling unheard pretty quickly. While still applying the extension and i noticed the tip was extremely crooked and cut way shorter than the rest. She told me she would fix it. And half way through i asked again and even in the end. I was to the point i just didn't want to say anything anymore bc i already was being ignored i didnt want to be a karen or be mean but i was really frustrated. One star for how clean it was and another start because my nail tech Louis was good at not scratching me with the nail drill. I was in the area for an event and noticed i had an hour and 20 minutes before i really needed to be there so i decided to get my nails done. I got on the app and found some nail salons and decided to try this one. Now i always try to give businesses that have a lower rating a chance to impress me but this place failed! I got here and saw that they offer 15% discount on all of their services Monday - Thursday soo I was like 'ok that's cool'. I was welcomed by the receptionist lady who spoke fluent English (yay) she showed me the nail colors and immediately showed me to my chair. I was excited about all the pretty colors and it took me about 8 or 10 minutes to really decide on a color. At this point, there was still no nail tech with me. Soo i looked around and saw that they were not that busy, the shop had customers but there were still plenty of empty work stations around. I waited some more and i realize i ben sitting at that spot for over 20 minutes with nobody taking care of me and they had not even offered me anything to drink. I saw they had a soda machine and a fridge with water. I saw the receptionist lady walking by and i gave her a glare that reads "why am i having to wait 20 minutes and not even offer a drink' kinda look. Normally it doesn't bother me having to wait if they are busy but they were not and they didn't even mention 'oh we are short-handed please wait for one of our technicians to be done' no nothing! So finally she came by and ask if i wanted a drink, I told her I wanted a sprite and when she came back she gave me a cup of water... like in what place on earth is water the same as sprite?!? Nope So then I waited another 15 minutes before a technician was free to see me. That is a total of 35 minutes of me having to wait to be taken care of! Like I said I normally don't mind waiting if they told me ahead of time. If i know they were gonna take this long i would have driven somewhere else. But I am a nice person and i really should give this place a 1 but that's just me. Now for the actual service, I was given, it was good. I have gone to several nail salons where the tech servicing me just completely scratch and cut my skin around my nails to the point where i bleed! ouchie. Louis, however, took care and paid attention to detail when doing my nails. I did not get cut or bleed during this service yay! I did however noticed when he took his tools out of his case that they were not in a sanitized bag like they are supposed to. He took a nail clipper out of the case and i kid you not, it was rusty and gross looking. The rest of his tools looked like they needed a little more than a dusting. So there's that, but i am hoping they dont do this stuff all the time. As for his performance and techique, I would give him a 4/5. He communicated with me on what shape and length i wanted, he listens to me on the color and the shine of the nail. Overall i would not go back to this location if I was in the area so that's my two cents. read more

I really enjoy coming to this nail salon. Besides it having more that 15+ nail specialist attending customers on any given day, they are so sweet and work very hard on all types of requests. I drive about 30 minutes to go here having many salons 5 minutes away from my house. Dipping powder, mani, pedi, acrylic, gel nails and more. Today I chose to go with gel nails 160 color. Amazing. I'm in love with this color. 3 coats of it to get to this color. Stephanie took great care of me. They even use a hand glove that came infused with collagen lotion and protects from the uv light. The young lady in charge told me it would be a 45 minute wait. So I'm like, "ok". So 15 mins into my wait I'm starting to notice others walk in and get seated at the manicure seats. It was at least 4 ladies. I continue to wait, I'm thinking maybe they had appointments. So I continue to wait. It's now 40 minutes and I see 5 more walk ins and they are immediately seated, and now I clearly thinking, they don't have appointments. It's now 6:00pm and I can no longer wait. So the young lady walks up to me and says it's your turn now, and I politely say no I can't stay here, I've waited too long. She then says, "I thought you wanted a full set with tip." I reply back and say "no, it was just a dip polish change and nail change on toes, thank you, but I have to go". I don't know what the reason was, but I was skipped over and I don't understand why others walking in was given preference over me.
