This is my go to nail salon. I've been going here for about 3 years. It's always a clean and pleasant experience. I appreciate that they had complimentary beverages (both nonalcoholic and alcoholic). Everyone has always been friendly to me and the service is good. I don't really think I've ever been disappointed with my nails. I usually go for a luxury pedicure and on occasion an eyebrow wax. I haven't worn nails in a long time but the work I've seen looks good to me. read more

Today I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon, a place I've frequented for the last two years and where I've often spent hundreds of dollars at a time. I came in for a simple eyebrow wax and was assisted by a woman who is often at the front desk. Before we even started, I showed her a photo of my eyebrows from a previous appointment and explained that it was the exact look I wanted. Instead of listening, she immediately told me, "No, you don't want them too thin." That response caught me off guard because they are my eyebrows and the photo I showed her was literally a previous result that I was happy with. Rather than listening to my preferences, she repeatedly told me what she thought I wanted and seemed annoyed whenever I tried to explain otherwise. As I continued trying to communicate the look I was going for, she became visibly frustrated and said, "I'm going to find someone else for you." She then left the room, returned alone, and told me, "You know this is just waxing. This isn't permanent makeup." At that point, I was confused because I thought she was getting someone else who could better assist me. Instead, she expected me to continue the service after dismissing my concerns. When she told me to lay down, I declined. I went to the front, paid, and politely explained that I felt the situation was unacceptable. As a loyal customer who has supported this business , I expected basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I continued coming to this location was for Kim's pedicures anyways, which have always been great. However, based on today's experience, I can no longer recommend this salon. Customer service starts with listening to the customer, especially when they're clearly explaining what they want. Today, that simply did not happen. read more

Super friendly, listened to what we wanted, and did an amazing job. I chose a Long Island Iced Tea due to the long work week. The ambiance of the salon was perfect for unwinding--soft lighting, soothing holiday music, and a modern decor that instantly put me at ease. Recently scheduled an appointment at Nail One's new Hair Spa. I've tried other Spa's that specialize in hair and scalp treatment, so had some idea of what to expect. I have to say that Nail One exceeded my expectations. I was brought to a single room vs multiple stations separated by privacy curtains. I received the same initial consultation that magnifies the scalp and hair follicles which is customary; however, Nail One's includes a before and after view following the treatment. I have a specific hair regimen since I'm genetically prone to hair loss, so I was shocked to see the final results. There was also no pressure to add Overall, the treatment was longer, included much more, and at one point, put me to sleep. The bonus, was that it was a third of the price I paid at a well known Spa!! The specialist is passionate and has studied in multiple countries. I highly recommend you check it out! read more

Tried this place for the first time and I won't be back. They didn't even paint my toe nails all the way nor the color I wanted. My nails turned out cute but not what I asked for. I went to this place for a "soak off" the lady was trying to take off my acrylic nails with a nail tip!!! Trying to go the "fast way, easy way" that is so bad for your nail and not the correct way. I told her I wanted my nails to be soaked in acetone which IS the correct way. As she proceeded to do so, she seem rushed annoyed and upset. Last time I was here both my husband and I got ingrown toenails from our pedis. I wanted to give them another chance so I went back today. 5 minutes in and I got cut. French pedi looks good, but I can already feel an ingrown toenail coming AGAIN on my big toe. Massage was so soft it felt more like uncomfortable petting than a relaxing experience. Bar Nail One is wonderful. I have to drive 30 minutes to get there and pass 40 other nail shops on the way. WORTH IT! They will work with you to accommodate any special needs, just ask. One of my favorite additions is the Volcano Spa pedicure. Think about the feeling when you have super smooth legs and your sheets rub against them. THAT feeling lasts for a few days even after showering with a loofah. The moisture surge to the skin is super intense. Some of us may have forgotten to lotion up our legs after this pedicure but somehow went into the world without being "ashy". Unfortunately I left thinking it wasn't such a terrible experience ( aggressively filing, not listening to what I was looking for , she put a different glitter that she felt looked better w/o asking me etc.) until I realized my finger was bleeding. Edit #2. After having not so great luck with getting my nails fixed the first time, Tina(the manager) contacted me. She took the time on a busy day to make sure that I was taken care of. All of my nails ended up either lifting or breaking off within a week. A little disappointed with that. Especially because I've got a toddler at home and rarely get time to do something for myself I decided to stop by here last minute after doing some shopping on the way home from work. I'm glad I did! Michael was my nail tech and did a great job, they are open later on Sundays than most nail salons which is till 7pm on Sunday. I went in a little after 6 for a pedicure and it was a short 15/20 wait. I typically get a classic pedicure with a added on callus remover and Michael went to down on my dry skin for hours it seems on removing my dry skin from my feet and I couldn't be more appreciative, most just do it real quick and I feel usually feel still dry/flaky afterwards but not this time.
