I am writing to express my disappointment with the way my daughter and her friend were treated during their recent visit to your bowling alley. As paying customers they expected to be treated with respect and courtesy but unfortunately they did not receive that during their visit. While they were bowling the manager Kim, approached them and began telling them "to hurry up that they were taking too long. I gave you a good deal..........." They were both enjoying themselves but the manager spoiled it for them and ruined their day. She made them feel rushed and uncomfortable and took away from their enjoyment. Up until that point they where having a great time and Kim made them feel sick. They where not informed that they had a limited time and even purchased food and drinks. As my daughters friend is here on vacation she had called one of her Parents who was on speaker phone when Kim, the manager, began her berating of the two young ladies and he was disgusted as am I. No one was waiting for a lane as the bowling ally was practically empty. I hope that in the near future a new manager is appointed that treats customers with more respect and professionalism. It is important for businesses to create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and the behavior of the manager on duty fell short of that standard. read more

Went to watch the NBA finals with my daughter - virtually nobody bowling was wearing a mask, manager's mask was covering his chin, coughing bartender had only a bandanna. My daughter and I both caught Covid three days later - I know we caught it there because I had not been anywhere else. Stay away unless you want to get sick. Unfortunately we also had rude customer service regarding bumpers for my 8yr old who was not having the best time playing against more experienced bowlers. The man at the front desk was so rude about it, refused to put them up because of her age and "it was house rules" was his only explanation. He said she would have to bowl 6 frames first then she herself (who is extremely shy) would have to go to the front desk and ask for the bumpers herself. Makes no sense. the lanes are nice but the service is terrible...they decide bumper for kids base on heights...over 52" no bumpers and they dont post it anywhere until you are there. tried to gouge us on rates. It's worth the drive to Dublin they are WAY more accommodating. read more

Visited this place with my friends for the first time last night. And it turned out to be a pretty good bowling alley. The lanes were well maintained and they had more that enough quantities of different weights of bowling balls. We took 2 lanes and the screen for 1 was a little problematic, but they fixed it as soon as it was bought to the attention of the management. The guys servicing us were hospitable and helpful. They've got a pretty good bar and the bartenders are also very generous in their pours. The finger food that they serve is also unlike the food that you get in other bowling alleys. They serve some pretty decent food that's not too greasy! Music is not too loud and they've got a good playlist. Overall, I pretty much liked this and wouldn't mind going back for a bowling night! read more

I would not recommend this place. We came here looking for a fun experience but instead we were greeted with a rude lady at the door. This poor lazy excuse for a worker asked for a names so I gave her my friend and I's nicknames. Mine being TB and my friends being G nasty. She rudely denied the nicknames then proceeds to spell my friends name wrong after we spelled it for her. If you're looking for a fun experience, this is not the place! I wouldn't recommend for families or for any hangout if you want to have fun. I REPEAT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN, I BEG YOU NOT TO COME HERE. I would recommend to whoever owns this to train your employees on how to treat their guests right because there's no reason I have to pay $50 and can't put a chosen name on the screen. Went out to dinner in Livermore last Wednesday, and decided to throw in some bowling to keep the good times rolling. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'm not the best bowler, so I walked in there pretending that it was about the kids. They have a nice arcade, optional bumpers, and the very appreciated dinosaur to help the kiddies get that ball right down the center. They also have the lanes with neon lights, and a curtain to separate it from the rest of the bowling alley- like first class on the Airplane, or VIP in da club. We had a party for our oldest daughter here about 7 years ago, it was easy and really fun. It was nice to return and see that it's still a great place to bowl. Even the bathrooms were clean. I also suspect that this place may have some lucky energy going on, because I actually bowled 2 strikes. Yes, the curse has been broken!! read more

Took my 5yr old here for one of our date days & it's a pretty nice, clean & fun bowling alley. My son loved that it was glow in the dark with Music & he also enjoyed played arcade games afterwards which was a bit pricey, but as long as my little guy has fun it was well worth the money. read more

Granada Bowl is a Livermore institution. It doesn't look impressive from the outside, but inside it's clean, the staff is really helpful and friendly, and the lanes are kickin'. One of the coolest things that they do is offer free summer passes for students. We almost never get an opportunity to take advantage, but I think it's a really great service to the youth in Livermore. There aren't many fun places for kids to hang out, but Granada Bowl is a great place. Kids love the food and drink which are reasonably priced and there are plenty of lanes. I was recently invited by my daughter to join her and her friends for bowling. By the time we arrived the kids had already gotten the lanes and treated me to bowling too. :) We had a fun time and look forward to returning. In my two other times there I did not notice billiards so we look forward to visiting and playing. They also have a fairly big selection of video games. Admittedly I'd like to return for cosmic bowling. :) My only recommendation is that the front doors be adjusted. They're slide open doors, but they open so slowly I barely had enough time to put on my foot brakes so I didn't smash into it. Though that WOULD have been funny from the other side of the glass. I would give less than one star if I could. We booked a party with Granada Bowl and the experience was absolutely terrible from the beginning to the end. When booking with Granada, the staff was extremely rude over the phone to the point that I needed to start emailing instead of being bullied over the phone. We were the only party in the VIP area for hours before our party. My mother in law went to set up about an hour ahead and was denied until the guests were about to arrive. The staff was very rude and dismissive to them, as well. We arrived and immediately the manager seemed like she couldn't be bothered by us. I asked for bumpers on one lane for the kids and had to give the ages of each child and they denied putting bumpers up for some of the kids? Regardless of age...if a customer asks for bumpers..just be understanding and accommodating this is a birthday party..not the bowling Olympics. They eventually got around to delivering our food and we asked for water. They delivered water with dixie cups and when we asked for larger cups we were very rudely told we needed to book a party with them to get bigger cups? Ummmm this was a party booked with them? We eventually shared the cups with the party next to us. Since we were in the VIP area, the music videos were playing on the big screen and one of the music videos had some sadomasochism and borderline nudity in it. I walked up to another manager and asked him to change the music. He very rudely told me it was a "pop playlist" and then turned our music videos off. No discussion about why? I then returned and asked it if they could just play rock or something else. One of the actual helpful staff (not a manager) was very understanding and changed it. By the next song, it was back to inappropriate pop. I was speaking with our party about how I had tried to tell a manager when the manager rudely stormed out of the office the managers hide in and confronted me in front of my entire party with a very aggressive and rude tone. Could the manager not have pulled me aside and explained what was going on with the music and videos? It was EXTREMELY HUMILIATING to be yelled at and belittled in front of the 20+ people at the party. The staff never checked in with us to see if we needed anything and couldn't be bothered if we asked for literally anything. Bartender was rude and the managers were absolutely horrible to us. Come to find out ...Bowlero is way cheaper and my nephew had a great party there. Save your money and time and DO NOT book a party here!! read more

We had a great time bowling with our kids. Our two toddlers had a blast on their first Bowling experience. We did the per hour rate, which was the better value for our party of 4. For $33/hr, we each got very new shoes and played 1.5games for each person. We could've played 2 sets for each person if not for the lag due to time it took us to setup and remove the kid's bowling ball slider. I'm not sore what it's called. This thing helps young kids roll the ball down the lane. It looks like a mini slide. The place was clean. We were lucky that the place was not fully-packed for a Friday night. We want to try cosmic bowling next time. We just have to get to the bowing alley early next Friday. read more

I'm here with Blondie and Allergy Boy almost every weekend now, and we really like this place. The prices are about average, except if 1) your kid just finished school, and they handed out free game passes for the summer (with shoes!) and 2) your other kid got a pass for participating in the local summer reading program. With these discounts, it becomes really cheap! We've never had to wait for a lane, and unlike other places, even in the evenings during league nights, there's usually something open. They have lanes that allow you to have a mix of players with and without bumpers, but not all of them. We've had a few wonky moments when we had to reset pins, and weren't paying attention to the fact that it counted against us, causing the last player to lose their last frame, but it's easy to check and fix before it's too late. The food is actually pretty good, with huge helpings of fries. You can even get a dairy and nut-free chicken patty for your allergy-prone kids, but it's pretty expensive. They have the usual signs about no outside food, but we've never had a problem bringing in something for A.B. We hosted a birthday party here, and found the hostess attentive and competent. They have "cosmic bowling" from 1-3 on Saturdays and Sundays, and that's either fun, or a sensory overload, if you're not keen on lasers, flashing lights, videos, loud music, etc. You pay a flat fee for that, with no discounts, so if you show up (like we did once) at 2:20, the fee is the same, and only lasts until 3, so that was silly. We just waited about 40 minutes, and got the regular pricing. Likewise, if you show up at 12:30 and pay regular price (with discounts and all), you can keep bowling your games while the Cosmic stuff starts. Bathrooms are fairly gross, unfortunately. I don't think it would be fair to give a lower rating since I did not actually get to bowl here. I was planning a small company party and we called in to make sure that there would be lanes open since they have league on Tuesday's. I was assured that there would be lanes available in the zone although I may have to wait if there is a cue. I had people drive from concord, Danville, Dublin and Fremont to attend only to find out that they had rented out the lanes to another group months ago. I asked multiple times to make sure there would be no issues waiting for a lane and was assured that League was the only thing taking up the main lanes.. This has been an extremely frustrating experience to what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening. Bay Area traffic is never fun to deal with and all of this could have been avoided if i was provided the correct information. read more

She ignored me at first and was snarky when I told her about my problem. Like okay I get it, no one wants to work and working customer service is tough, like I've been there. But don't be a dick to someone who is trying to at least be nice. This lady has a shitty attitude and I wouldn't suggest going here, or at least eat before so you won't be desperate enough to get food there so you don't have to interact with her. This is one of the few places in Livermore to go when you're looking for a cheap form of entertainment. The building is OLD and from the outside, you might make a quick judgment of it. The food is pretty typical of bowling alleys: greasy and overpriced. Overall the games are pretty cheap, but when my friends and I went last night, our lane kept glitching, and the whole thing seemed like it was broke. We tried to make the best of it since we paid 30 DOLLARS FOR THE HOUR, so all that glitching took up a lot of our time. Felt ripped-off. Not worth it. Take the extra time and gas to go to the Dublin Bowl. It's much better. read more

I have not been to a bowling alley in an year or more . I found this place on Yelp and thought of giving it a try even though its an hour of drive from my place. We bowled a few rounds and ordered food. The food was actually very good. I had Pizza,Nachos,Chicken Strips and Bud Light Pitcher. The prices are really affordable. We paid $50 for 2 hours of bowling which is quite acceptable. The overall experience was quite nice. I am planning to visit again. read more

The bowling is fun. The bar has lots of TVs. They have a wine list (which is great!). If they had Anchor Steam beer, they'd get five stars. If you don't like AS, consider it perfect~ EDIT: I'm upping it to 5 stars even though they don't have Anchor Steam beer (even though it would be fab if they did~). Went there with the family. I thought it was a bit pricey ($63 for 5 for two lines each and shoes) but it's clean, friendly and they have state-of-the-art scoring. Plenty of tables for eating and easy access to the lanes. I love it. And as another reviewer said, great bar with a really friendly bartender. She's great. Plenty of staff if a ball gets stuck or some other issue arises. A very happy place. read more

This bowling may appear run down on the outside, but I assure you it's so cute on the inside. For one, it's huge, two, it's actually pretty clean. The snack bar food is so delicious. They even have salad! I only had a bite of my friends nachos because I'm trying to slim down for summer but they were delicious. I have been there a dozen times. Usually play 3 frames. Every time there has been a malfunction on the lanes which required them to go back and fix it. They told me it was due to a 15 lb ball. They also got rid of the 16 lb balls. Now i can barely find one 14 lb ball with large enough holes for my large fingers. Also, my score and time is altered when they fix the problem (they do not compensate me). The arcade is fun, but some games feel quite rigged (which is the norm). read more

I usually come here once a month with my family. But lately they been getting worse on service. Today we came with a group of 11 people. And they took 15 min off our 1 hr of paid play because our lanes were prebooked. Why would you place us here then? Went and asked for discount or another lane and they wouldnt help us. Ok fine. Dublin bowl it is now. I dont recognize any of these new kids in here. But watch out. Unless the older guy with glasses is in here you prob gonna get robbed of time like we did. This isn't the first time this has happpend. Its getting ridiculous. Especially for regulars like us. Take our business elsewhere. Smh read more

My son came here for a party and they had a good time bowling but when he was using the claw machine, he inserted his $10 bill and the machine promptly took it and did not allow him to play. He went with his friend to the cashier and they each told him there was nothing they could do and was very short with them. Bowling is F U N!!! It's been a few years since my family has been here... and it's about time we get around to going back for some fun. Seriously...how can a person not have fun here? Our dear cool daughter had a teeny-bopper birthday party here years ago.All the tweens, teens and fossils (us parents) had a blast...nothing short of a blast. Don't remember the cost, yet I do remember it being very reasonably priced. I'd called ahead of time and asked if we could bring the Happy Birthday cake along and the staff was totally cool with that. Have no fear of rolling gutter balls...that simply makes for more laughs.
