Back then that was a real down to earth kind of place. We always played one set of slow dancing music for couples. The atmosphere was welcoming and felt perfect for connecting, laughing and enjoying doing bouquets in tea cups. I truly appreciate the owner for allowing us to use the additional room as well which helped tremendously. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality. I would gladly host another event here and highly recommend this space for gatherings, celebrations or even a date.

The seats weren't the comfiest. When entering the theater there is a small concession area to the right for snacks, beverages, and alcoholic drinks. There's an array of beautiful displayed paintings in the lobby and wrapped around the lobby from the California Watercolor Association. There's a coat check, bathrooms, and wheelchair access. There's an array of performances offered to suit your artistic taste.

Longevity Wines are located in an industrial building in an unremarkable location. However, one step inside, you will be transported outside with its barn theme and spacious tasting space! Our jaws were dropped and we vowed to never judge a book by its cover again LOL We got a Groupon for wine tasting for 2 with 2 charcuterie boxes. That's why we drove to Livermore to visit this tasting room. We were blown away for sure! As soon as we walked in, staff Tammy greeted us and let us pick our seating spot. This tasting room opens at 1pm and we were their first customers. However, it was filled up fast. Tammy greeted everyone and it seemed like they were all returning customers. Though the tasting room got crowded later, we all had our own spaces and privacy and the entire experience felt very intimate. We love the outdoor and barn vibe! Occasionally we forgot that we were inside. Tammy slowly introduced us to a flight of 6 for our wine tasting. She explained the wine itself, how it was made and its origin. Out of the 6 wines that we tried, we loved the Cabernet Franc from Dublin the best! It's so light, oaky and has a nice finish :) Each of us got our own charcuterie boxes which were made fresh and delivered the day of from Pleasanton, according to Tammy. So everything felt extra special because they were sourced locally. One thing that touched us the most was that Tammy, though being very busy herself, took time to sit down and chat with us. She told us about the history behind heart logo and the touching story of the owners Phil and Debra. That Phil had the tattoo of the heart logo on his arm so that he felt Debra's presence with him. Debra passed away due to cancer a few years ago. Our pup Butter also had a wonderful time being at home here at the tasting room. We will definitely be back soon!

And Yelp had a Giveaway for Pairs of Tickets for this Event . I'm not a Lucky Guy , But I was amazed when I was by Cali G of Yelp that I won a Pair of Tickets to this Wonderful Event . So on the Day Of The Music Festival ,I strapped on my Ankle Bracelet and was picked up by my Bodyguard Little John and we Rolled to Wente Vineyards Estates Winery and Tasting Rooms on Tesla Road . This Wente Facility doesn't usually do Music Concerts Except for The Front Porch Music Festival . It was Created by 5th Generatioin Winemaker Karl Wente . These Shows actually started on the Front Porch of his home in Livermore. We Stashed Little Johns Whip in the Large Dirt Lot . and Street Hiked to Will Call and Claim my 2 Wrist Bands . Thanks Yelp !!! It was a Beautiful Day at The Wente Estate . There were Several Food Options and Several Wine Bars Open . There were 2 Stages for Music . The Barrel Room Stage - Acoustical Performances Jules Danny Click Matt EL Peter Case Kingsborough And The Outdoor Stage- Garage Band Academy Elliot Randall & The Deadmen Wolf Hamlin & The Front Porch Drifters - Karl Wentes Band Hot Buttered Rum The Wine was Flowing , Lots of Really Lovely Ladies and Great Live Music = a Great Time . I personally consumed 3 Bottles of Wentes Riesling so I was feeling pretty good. LOL The Music Festival was from 11am- 9pm . My Favorite Music Acts were Jules and Wolf Hamlin & The Front Porch Drifters . Theyb really Brought it and Jammed out . I also bought a Pepperoni Pizza which was Pretty Tasty,. Well, one of my partners in crime decided we just had to attend "The Front Porch Music Festival."…read more She told me that this was an event that was added to her "list of things to do" in the Bay area since 2004... So, I decided to be a team player and assist my lovely friend in checking that box off the list. Needless to say, we had a delightful time. We showed up and it was a bit windy as Livermore can be. But we decided to enjoy the sun and grab a glass of Wente's vino. Now one of my girl friends is apart of the Nth degree wine club so we were given VIP service. This was supreme, let me tell you! As we walked around and enjoyed the different bands, I was experiencing a total blast from the past while running into lovely friends I had known since grade school. Bands were located inside and outside. We grabbed a seat at the fire pit and made friends with a cute couple from Livermore, To end the event, we decided to grab some pizza from the food trucks. This pizza was not just any pizza. It was pepperoni goodness with perfectly backed thin crust. As we left the festival we sadly made our goodbyes to our new friends and decided that it might be a great idea to come back next year.

The half chicken also very dry (with a small line of BBQ sauce on it) it was so hard that I broke 2 plastic forks trying to get pieces of it off to eat. The most frustrating thing about the evening was what happened to the $60 meal that we purchased. Our 2 containers of food where on the top of a wine barrel directly behind us. We were standing no more than 3ft in front of this barrel watching the show. In between songs we were picking at our meal but rejoining our focus to the band once songs started kicking in. At some point while my wife and I were watching the show the Wente staff cleared our food. There was way more than half of the Brisket meal and about 3/4 of the Chicken dinner in these containers. I am not sure if someone asked if these meals were done and we didn't hear them over the music or if they simply didn't ask. I found a Wente employee and let them know what happened. The employee said oh, ok I will let the managers know and that was that. Very frustrating. At this point we will not be returning to the Wente Concert series events.

At 7pm, they start the dance lessons: * Line dancing lesson (~40 minutes) * Followed by either partner two-step or swing dancing (alternates every other week) The crowd was all ages (21+ obviously -- and let's just say I'm on the older side), all skill levels, and very beginner-friendly. I'm pretty uncoordinated, and honestly this was some of the best line dancing instruction I've had. After 9pm, lessons end/open dancez A couple practical tips: * There's really nowhere to stash your stuff, so keep it simple -- pockets or a fanny pack work great * Wear closed-toe shoes if possible unless you want your toes stepped on * No one is judging style here, which actually made it more comfortable and fun Overall: low pressure, affordable, welcoming, and a genuinely good time.

The people who run this place keep this place tidy and clean as evidenced by how quickly they cleared my glass and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I missed the rock n' roll memo, but amazingly talented singers including the KJ himself. The sound system can be pretty loud especially the bass, so ended up keeping my ear plugs in. My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.
