Super cool downtown spot, love the vibe with the outdoor seating, twinkle lights and live music. They have food trucks regularly (love the smash burgers) but the variety they bring in is awesome. When you walk in, they're friendly, attentive, and ready to give recommendations on their long list of beer choices. Last time we went we sat outside and couldn't hear the live music coming from inside, that was our only gripe, but overall, really cool spot. We'll be back for sure. read more

Tap 25 is one of my favorite places on the planet. The staff are amazing and helpful. Each staff member has so much knowledge about beer, and they genuinely take the time to get to know your tastes and what you like. They carry it all. The variety is something I have never seen before. I am a hazy girl, and they always have so many hazys to choose from. I truly don't drink beer anywhere else (maybe Alehouse). There is nothing in Livermore quite like Tap 25. They also have so many amazing food trucks. It is so convenient to just grab beers and food truck at the same time. Before the food trucks, we always had to leave to go get food and come back. That was not convenient. The food trucks are perfect! I just visited Tap 25 this week for the first time and had a great time! I was attending a professional connections happy hour and Tap 25 was the informal venue. The taproom is located in Blacksmith Square, which is a small plaza in downtown Livermore. There's plenty of parking nearby, and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Our group was quite large but we were able to pull a few tables together outside and enjoy the good weather. The staff at the taproom are very nice and helped us choose drinks. They have a big variety of ales, kombucha, and non-alcoholic drinks. Our group tried out a few different drinks on the menu and everyone enjoyed them. Highly recommend a visit here! read more

Great selection of Beers (including 8+ different N/A beers). One of the favorite regular beers was the raspberry Sour and the favorite N/A beer of the night was a chocolate-y note Dark milk stout. They also were selling some large bags of pretzels to go along with the drinks as snacks, the best flavor for me was the chili + lime. They also had a collection of hard kombucha and seltzers that we didn't try this time. Went here last night and it's still as awesome as ever. I remember the first I came here was for my 21st birthday, so Tap 25 has a special place in my heart for sentimental value. They even gave me a free beer for my birthday! Last night they had some pretty good live music -- folksy and mellow but not too loud. My friend even bought his CD! I love the ambience this place has because it's just so welcoming and friendly. :) The service is great too, and even on a busy Saturday night they still have some time to chat while delivering prompt service. I think my favorite thing thus far is the vast selection of beers they have to choose from. There is literally a beer here for everyone so you can't go wrong if you have some picky beer-drinkers. My friend is all about the sour ales, whereas I love a good pale ale or IPA depending on the mood. Wonderful time! Definitely will continue to make this place my go-to. read more

Met a friend for drinks at Tap 25 today afternoon - he's a regular as he lives close by while it was my first time. Must say he chose well. It was a lovely day and many patrons were sitting outdoors on the tables in Blacksmith Square, but we wanted to watch the Warriors-Rockets game so we sat inside, watching on one of the two small TVs. I bought the first round, starting with an excellent Hefeweizen from a microbrewery in San Diego, refreshingly crisp and lemony. The lady at the counter told me to help myself to pizza they'd ordered for patrons watching the game - on the house! My friend had brought peanuts and cashew nuts for us to munch on, and we contentedly ate pizza and nuts and drank our brews (he's over six-and-a-half feet tall so he drank twice as much as I did). The day wore on --- the game which was tense and close became more fun as our Dubs pulled away to an easy victory, and it was time to order the last round and head home to our wives and kids. I chose to finish with an imperial stout, the Societe Butcher, from another San Diego microbrewery - thick, dense, velvety smooth dark chocolate goodness, packing quite a wallop at almost 10% ABV - it was lovely way to end the afternoon. read more

Walked in and heard some of the best 90's hip hop and felt at home. 25 taps so you have choices which is great. Three hazy options on the board which was even better.
