However when l went inside the Bar they had a very unfriendly Bartender working her disposition towards me was very nasty and there wasn't even a lot of people inside the bar, but yet she had me waiting for service for a very long time.I do not recommend this place. Divey for sure. Yikes. I've come here a total of 5 times (not by my selection) and haven't enjoyed it each time. This last time was notable as I was the DD in our group. The ladies seemed pleased with the drinks. There's a patio with a nice brick wall for photos, bar games and a pool table. They leave the outside door open so the whole bar smells like cigarette smoke if you're into that. There's 2 single neutral bathrooms, not the worst, not the best. Complimentary ice water and cups was a nice touch. The bartender must have screamed at the patrons a few different times which was an odd experience. To stop farting and also to "never play that trash in my bar again" (which means don't pay and request music unless it's what the bartender wants). Love that. Yes! They provide a jukebox where you can pay for songs: AWESOME! Especially for a DD, while everyone else is drinking. I'm drinking my redbull, purchased $10 worth of credits, and the songs I finally requested come on, and the bartender changes it, 15 seconds into the song... at 10:45 pm on a Saturday. lol. Then proceeded to do that with the others, all but 1. The good news is that while waiting in line for the restroom, my friend and I were shoved in there by a drunk woman and locked in, to listen to her incoherently ramble about the drama she's experiencing in this bar. What's even better is that after this experience, she went up the bar for more alcohol and was served it. The best part had to be the guy 30 years older than me, going out of his way to put his hand on the small of my back and compliment me each time he passed by. Absolutely horrible first experience. The bartender "Wednesday" or whatever people call her was completely rude and malicious for no reason. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes watching her completely ignore us and serving everyone else with absolutely no acknowledgement. When I finally grabbed her attention and asked if we could get some acknowledgement since it's obvious we've been ignored for the past 20 minutes, she gave me some excuse about how one of her coworkers had some sort of tragedy that's been making it difficult for her to get to everyone (while she's been helping everyone but us for the past 20 minutes while not even looking in our direction). I told her that wasn't my problem and it was clear that she was ignoring us specifically on purpose. She was incredibly rude after that and gave me attitude once she asked what I wanted. Once she finally brought it, I was speaking with my group why it took so long and I told them how incredibly rude the bartender was and I'll admit, I said she was being a c*nt because I've never experienced someone as horrible as her when it comes to customer service for absolutely no reason (not my best moment but I wasn't wrong). She was horrible. Once she heard me complain about her awful behavior, she yelled and had us kicked out of the bar for calling her out. I admit, using that word wasn't the best decision on my part which is why I happily left without issue, but there was absolutely no excuse for her to treat us that way before having any sort of communication beforehand. She was even clearly rude to the other customers next to us and demanding more of a tip with a very sarcastic and angry look on her face. Idk why she has a job here, but she only creates a terrible experience for customers and I've heard from at least 4 other people with similar experiences always from the same person. She does not deserve to work with customers or in the public in any sort of capacity and the owner is apparently too scared of her to do anything about it. They'd rather burn bridges and continue building a horrible reputation for themselves by hiring incompetent and horribly rude bartenders. I also know people who know her personally and they have all agreed she is just a terrible person in general and she's always been like this. I went there a few weeks ago on a karaoke night. Karaoke isn't my thing, but my friends sang and I had a good time. The crowd was friendly without being creepy, I don't know what bug someone has up their butt about the bartender, but she's fine...served us promptly and took good care of us, and I wasn't even drinking booze as I was driving. It's a hole-in-the-wall/dive bar kind of place, folks, a small local joint that isn't fancy but it's clean, well lit, has fun things to do and is welcoming. What else do you want? Nobody is going to kiss your rear end here, and if you act like an entitled brat, you'll probably get that energy back. I love this bar. It is such a vibe, good people good drinks, good music! There is an outside patio if you want to get some fresh air or smoke. They have pool tables and even a photo booth to take pictures. On Wednesdays they have karaoke night it's so much fun! And the bartender's name is Wednesday. She is super cool and gorgeous. I've been coming to this bar for quite a few years now, went to school in Livermore & grew up coming here. I enjoy coming to v&e late night, running into friends, talking to the bartenders before we all go out separate ways. In quite a few years I haven't met a bartender locally or otherwise as truly caring, outgoing, friendly & downright professional when it comes to taking care of her bar & business as Gabi Lemoine. She's friggin great! I recently went out around thanksgiving & not long after of course stopping by the v&e with no luck finding her behind the bar :/ I hope she's well & that when I go out next I can find her back there active as always! People there were super nice, friendly and inviting. However, can't say that for the bartender who served me, older white lady with hair past her shoulders dressed in jeans and a T-shirt. I was speaking with another customer in Spanish and I was offended when she told me I was in America and we spoke English here. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The bartender screams at customers and then the security guards kick people out for no reason. Then after not serving our drinks they keep your money. They lie about who owns this place. When we ask to speak to the manager apparently everyone is the manager....this place is trash. We have been going to go this the bar for over a year and tonight will be the last time after we had a super uncomfortable interaction with one of their newer bartenders who works weekday/evenings and wears hat. She refused to serve and scolded my husband after he showed her a perfectly valid temporary driver license state-issued form as he is waiting for his new license to arrive in the mail. We have been in multiple places and didn't have any issues with being served until her. He explained this to her and she yelled at him and told him to get out of her bar. Management should handle this employee who is extremely unprofessional, aggressive and inexperienced with clients. Will not be coming back. read more

My brother in law and I went in on Memorial Day after a ceremony (we're both Veterans). They bought us a couple rounds and let us celebrate our fallen brothers and sisters in the military way! These bartenders are so fun to hang out with (..not so much on Sundays) Went on Rodeo weekend and the girls KILLED it, even though they were slammed Saturday night! Wow. Horrible service, over charging / no set price for drinks, threatening staff, will not visit this place again and do not recommend in any way shape or form. I was charged two different amounts for my drinks over the course of my time there. I am sure the bartenders were just pocketing the overage as a tip with no discussion. I did not say anything, but was definitely not feeling the place. In fact, watched a guy pay cash for his drink, have this rude bartender woman not give him any change back. He asked for his change and she then told him "its only $2.00!!" He then explained he gets to decide what to tip, so she threw his change at him, told him she does not have to serve him, and proceeded to flip him off. At this point a guy from behind the bar goes to talk to the CUSTOMER and NOT the rude bartender (wth?), and came off threatening; the bar guy told the customer that he just got out of jail for fighting another guy on behalf of his sister (the bartender). They talked for a while and it was over, but it felt dangerous and creepy. Whoever owns this place clearly does not care about how people are being treated in this establishment, based on the endless horrible reviews. Steer very clear if you don't want to be treated like trash, be overcharged, and literally threatened. read more
