Grace's Place in Napa is absolutely beautiful! The atmosphere is gorgeous, everything was impeccably clean, and the bar was stunning. Our cocktails were delicious, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Joanna, was wonderful, so friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. She gave us some fantastic winery recommendations, and we ended up visiting a few that we absolutely loved! We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. I cannot wait to come back to Grace's Place the next time we're in Napa. Highly recommend!
I've heard so much about this place I was game to finally try it: What I liked.. -Great local place. -Lots of seating. -Food was pretty good What could be improved: - Food was a little slow coming out. -Hostess was a little confusing Overall I was pleased with GT. My favorite dish was the shrimp and grits. Highly recommend if you are a fan. My Eggs Benedict was good, but I enjoyed the Cornbread. Our food did take a while but the place wasn't too slammed. And the service was a little bit inconsistent with timing. With so many great options in Napa, I would only come back for the Shrimp and Grits.
The location is in what looks a little town. Very quaint and Charming. Has the antique vintage vibe almost like in older movies. The restaurant itself is darling! Great menu and service. Breakfast, as some would say, is the most important meal of the day. During my weekend in Napa, I wanted something that had a good mixture of protein but also fulfilling, checked via online and came across Grace's Table and decided to check it out. As it's street parking and also limited, we are parked two blocks away and walked to Grace's Table. We were greeted and seated upon arrival. Menus were given to us, and the staff did check in with us. We had ordered family style and shared -- shrimp & grits, grilled chicken sandwich with veggie chips and butter pasta. Portions are big and our breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. The only downside is that we did ask a staff member to add a side of the pancakes and she acknowledged and confirmed but when we checked in on the pancakes, it was never entered into the system. Therefore, after checking with two staff members and they confirmed that they didn't have that order. Aside from that incident, it was a lovely meal. Perfect way to start the day with a lovely meal from Grace's Table, would definitely return in the future.
The food is really good. I especially like how all the fruit on the plates were on the sweet side, even the strawberries. I've had the minced Kobe hamburger which was really good, and could be cooked rare. I also had a shrimp and grits. Iron skillet corned bread came with lavender butter. Nice spacious restaurant with no wait around 11-12. I had the same female waitress the few times I've been, and she was really inattentive and not that friendly. I don't really like having to flag the waitress down for every single thing (and having to raise my voice), even ordering. Everything felt like it was taking too long for brunch, when it was moderately busy. Food is good but not worth my time to return.
The location and service is great! We went there for brunch I ordered the shrimp and grits, my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. Honestly I can say that I have had better especially for the price. The shrimp and grits, had 4 pieces of shrimp, and 4 slices of andouille sausage, 2 eggs, spinach and grits. The sausage and the spinach added more flavor and character. However the grits were not very flavorful. My husband's eggs Benedict was good, the hollandaise sauce needed a little more flavor. The potato cake was tasteless. The ambience is nice and the service great but the food left me flat.
When searching for eateries near our resort I saw this one and then the husband was like this one is near the winery we should go. Say less. Then I saw they had the gravalax salmon that I wanted to try. I always get the bagel and lox when a restaurant has it. Living in Illinois it's far and few between. So that was exactly what I ordered. I like it. It's not smoked and I can't really explain the taste. However, I didn't get the fuzziness On the roof of my mouth that I sometimes get with lox. It was sliced thinner and I liked that too. I didn't try my husband's pancakes but the fingerling potatoes were delicious. Our server was efficient. They knew when and how to bring everything out. The couple seated next to us, I later found out my husband struck up a conversation because he thought the wife was Viola Davis. So now he tells people we met Viola in Napa.
The service was phenomenal! Just a little girls trip and our first stop for dinner didn't disappoint!
Shrimp and grits with eggs and hollandaise sauce was excellent. Try this for brunch- you wont be disappointed Pancakes were very light and fluffy. The egg and pulled pork taco was excellent Unfortunately they sold out of grace's cinnamon iced rolls so order as soon as you sit down to hopefully get them
This place was a must try for a few of us during the wine weekend trip for the long holiday. I myself have never been but have heard of this place and is on our list. Of course it's right in the heart of downtown so it was perfect for after dinner stroll. We had an early reservation which when we arrived, majority of the tables were empty. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. A few tables along the front patio as well as a bigger sectioned outdoor patio along the side of the restaurant. Indoor is just one big room. There's a bar counter but I don't remember if you can utilize it. Our waitress was a major doll. The sweetest ever and very friendly. Made sure that we were well taken cared off the whole time. Menu wise for both drinks and food was quite nice. I think we were all wined out after the afternoon tasting....lol... So a little cocktail here and there was tried. Food wise, there was a big group so a bunch of starters was had to share. The pork belly was delicious, small but tasty. It was basically just enjoying a nice thick piece of bacon with roasted apples with a glaze. That was a favorite amongst everyone. Prosciutto and burrata with grilled strawberries and micro greens and a balsamic glaze. You can't go wrong with burrata, it was delicious. The cast iron corn bread with lavender honey was another favorite. Something so simple yet so delicious. There was another dish in a grape leaves but I don't remember ordering it. It was tasty. Also, I could have sworn we ordered the beet salad but didn't get it...lol... Could be wrong. Anyways, starters were nice. Entrees, another mix of everything had. We each ordered our own but ended up passing things around to share. The duck confit didn't sound that interesting but someone ordered it and it was quite delicious. Think that was the best dish out of everything we had. The steak and fries were good, did like the seasoning used for the fries. The shrimp boil was ok, sort of flavorless in my opinion. Potatoes, sausage, bell peppers, onions, corn, shrimp tossed in a lobster broth. It was good but lacking some seasoning. Not your traditional shrimp boil as you would think with the loaded seasoning. Roasted chicken with the wild spring vegetables and wild rice pilaf. It's chicken, decent and moist. Still pretty tasty. The halibut with the roasted mix veggies. Nice piece of meat cooked nicely. Classic gnocchi in basil pesto, simple but good. The short rib which I believe was the special. A few piece of meat, with mashed potatoes, grilled onions and corn on the cob. It was good, meat was tender and flavorful. Also a side order of the onion rings which was also a favorite. Nice thick piece with grated Parmesan. Of course we still had to get dessert after all that. Two different one, the cheesecake with fresh fruit and the shortbread cake with creme and fruit. Both were quite tasty and a nice way to finish off a meal even though we were full. Overall, the service was top notch. Service was amazing and our waitress was a major doll. The sweetest and friendliest. Made us feel so welcomed. Drinks, quite good. Food, there was some hit and misses. We did enjoy ourselves and had a nice time. Location is amazing in the heart of downtown. I believe everything is street parking. Another place off the list.
Service was efficient and speedy! We were expecting to wait ~30 minutes for a table but got seated in 8. There's a lot of bustle here during the brunch rush but once you're seated it's easy to relax and enjoy yourself. The place is large but just small enough to still feel cozy. I don't usually order dishes I've never heard of before, but when our server read the Turkish Eggs special and mentioned the yogurt, dill, salmon, and poached eggs, I couldn't say no! I was pleasantly surprised by how well the smoked salmon and yogurt dill sauce went together, made better by the runny yolk of a perfectly poached egg. I would absolutely go back just for that special. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, though you can only get so excited about pancakes. Chilaquiles were delightfully savory, the plate was practically licked clean. Overall it's a great brunch spot for any weekend occasion!
Busy Sunday morning in a cute place. Service was prompt and friendly. Unfortunately we were both disappointed. My $24 Eggs Benedict was served with a bland Hollandaise sauce that was completely lacking in character. The potato cake that was served with it was small, bland and cold. My wife commented that it tasted like a frozen hash brown that had been undercooked. The $28 shrimp and grits included four shrimp of questionable quality, several small slices of sausage and almost no grits. Neither entrée was bad, but at these price points they should've been much much better.
My girlfriend and I stopped by Grace's Table for brunch while in Napa, and overall it was a great experience. She ordered the shrimp and grits, and I went with the chilaquiles, plus we both got iced vanilla lattes. I'll admit--I'm not a big grits person, so her dish wasn't really for me, but the chilaquiles were incredible. Easily the highlight of the meal. The space itself is pretty packed with tables, so it can feel a little cramped, but it's clean and has a great atmosphere. There's tons of natural light, and they have a wall that opens up, which lets in fresh air and makes the place feel more open. Overall, we had a really solid dining experience. If we find ourselves back in Napa, we'll definitely be back.

Super good food and drinks. The food was. Very fresh (farm to table movement started here) The espresso martini was super tasty and made with care . I really enjoyed the nicoise ahi tuna salad with a Scottish egg lookalike egg on top( had a nice runny yolk) . It is close and comparable to the one I had in nice a few month ago . But instead of an anchovies , they used fresh a ahi. The empanada had yummy beef and chopped olives inside with a chimichurri sauce . We also got a fish taco( ahi tuna too) to share. Prompt service and good food and drinks. No wonder they have over 2k positive reviews read more

Went in a Saturday morning and there was no wait. Seated outside on a slope and drinks consistently slid downwards and close to falling off the table. Given coasters for the drinks and the table, but it was annoying. Got a cosmo and it was so sour, the waitresses split some of my drink so my cup was so gross and sticky, I had to ask for napkin for the table also. That took forever, and what she gave me looked like paper towel you would get from the restroom. Empanada was 11 dollars and it was decent. It took almost 40 mins for food to be delivered to our table after ordering, I was starving at this point. I mean at least bring out the bread I ordered first... Then the food that came out was wrong for my partner's dish. Got chilaquiles when he ordered shrimp and grits... that dish was gross by the way, do not order the shrimp and grits... it was also 24 dollars. Horrible experience. Chef did come out to apologize for the mistake, however at that point I was over and done with the place. I do not think I ever really give places 1 star, but I couldn't find it in myself to give this restaurant a 2nd star. read more

My husband loves his breakfast tacos and the Bloody Mary he ordered. I love that the profits are donated to charity for child abuse victims and prevention. According to trip advisor, open table, and the sticker on the door to the restaurant, Grace's table is a recognized Michelin Bib Gourmand. So, what does this mean exactly? It's a way to recognize a restaurant for it's food quality at an affordable price. Well, I wanted to give them a try especially after seeing the number of reviews and the rating being close to a 5-star. That doesn't happen by accident! I made reservations for dinner on a Sunday evening for 2. Unfortunately, my dinner companion had too much wine during our previous excursion that day so I had to dine solo. It didn't seem to be a problem when I walked in. They seated me to a table and breads brought which I did not touch. I ordered a glass of Cabernet and decided to skip the appetizer and go straight for the Kobe steak and frites, prepared medium rare. I enjoyed my meal. The steak was prepared correctly, came precut though, but the fries were well-seasoned. I took a look at the dessert menu but decided I didn't want anything too heavy so I asked if I could instead order a chocolate martini. My waitress told me they don't have a full bar and that it would not be possible but she did recommend a sake espresso martini instead. I said yes to that although a bit confused how they could have sake and not vodka and the chocolate liqueur. Anyway, the martini was okay. After 2 drinks and a meal, my total came up to slightly over $80 for 1 person. I did have an enjoyable time and my food did taste delicious. I wish I could have tried some appetizers or a proper dessert but I've snacked all day that I wasn't super hungry by dinner. Service was somewhat nice. The hostess was very friendly, my waitress seemed slightly put off and didn't say much but could have just been a bad night for her. read more

Cute lunch spot in Napa as a break between vineyards. Located in the heart of downtown Napa and not too far from the outlets. The cinnamon roll and tacos were delicious. Very kind and accommodating staff as they allowed us to order our tacos with shrimp instead of the fish of the day. We didn't try any drinks as we had plans to visit the wineries. We ubered there as well so I cannot speak to the parking. I would recommend this as an option for lunch while in Napa for a day. read more

Oh Grace's kitchen you deserve every bit of this five star review, and then some. My mom and I decided to take a road trip to Napa and eating was the only thing on the itinerary. We found Grace's kitchen and my mom loved the menu so off we went. 1. The beet salad was the best beet salad I've ever had. I asked my mom at one point if we should just cancel our entree orders and have a few more salads and I was only partially kidding! 2. Chilaquiles. Now I am a connoisseur of this menu item and to find it be so good in a non-mexican restaurant was very surprising. I may even go on record to say this was the best Chilaquiles I've ever had. Every single thing down to the Tortilla chips were made from scratch. So good. 3. My mom had steak and eggs. Steak was so tender but I did not try the rest. All I can say is that my mom was a happy camper and she's not easy to please when it comes to the palette. Ambience was cute. Very Palm Springs vibe to me. Service was good. I did see the owner previously comment on some yelp reviewers reviews and I saw him at the end of our stay and made sure he knew that his restaurant is bomb. He was very gracious to entertain us for a moment. So worth the drive. I'll be back soon. read more

Really good brunch in downtown Napa. It is very popular so expect a bit of a wait. Here's what we got: 1. Cornbread with lavender butter- fluffy corn bread. Corn flavor wasn't that strong but the lavender butter was very unique. Had a delicate floral taste. 2. Fish tacos- fish was a bit dry but had good flavor. 3. Chilaquilles- very flavorful but had too much tortilla and not enough meat 4. Eggs Benedict- a very solid and classic Benedict. Creamy and flavorful hollandiase. 5. Tofu scramble- wanted a dish without meat and this was sadly extremely disappointing. The tofu was like chalk.... Overall decent brunch in Napa and would recommend everything we got except the tofu dish. read more

I would say parking isn't the easiest here. There's only street parking. I wouldn't recommend doing so but I parked in downtown and walked here which was about 1/2 mile. The host was welcoming and kind. Noise is loud. There was about a 20 minute wait. The interior is minimalistic with just a single art piece. Due to COVID-19 the huge open air flow was welcomed on top of the place already being quite spacious. I ordered the Yogurt and fruit parfait (5/5): good ratio between yogurt and fruits/nuts. I really liked how it was layered. The first bite was a bit surprising as it contained some raisins which provided some chewiness along with the crunchiness that the nuts brought. The yogurt was easy flowing and smooth. Food unfortunately did take a while. Maybe because we ordered a steak but I feel like it shouldn't have taken the time it did. Overall Grace's Table is a great place for brunch. Service could use some work but the workers are nice and kind. I recommend. read more

A bit late review! Grace's Table is one of our absolute favorite places to eat. We came for dinner and got to sit near the open sliding door area so got the breeze but was indoors. Service was amazing and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We started our meal with a special they had with Burrata and strawberry on toast with a delicious balsamic glaze. IT WAS SO GOOD. Who knew that combo with burrata and strawberries would be SO good on a perfectly thin toasted (or grilled) bread... We also got the Yuzu Mule and Yuzu Sabe Cosmo. SO REFRESHING. Was hard not to guzzle it down :) Main Courses: Hubby: Cassoulet. Which has duck confit, tender pork shoulder, boudin blanc sausage, garlic sausage, butter beans, and garlic bread crumbs. We usually get this at a french bistro at home that he loves and he said this one was better than that one. He totally finished and almost licked the bowl clean! :) Me: Monterey Petrale Sole that was perfectly cooked sitting on a yukon potato-Parsnip puree, topped with sun dried tomato-olive-brown butter and had a shaved fennel, radicchio and baby watercress salad that had the right acidity to complement the entire dish. Heaven!! And of course we decided to treat ourselves and got their creme brulee. It was bigger than I expected but we still managed to finish the whole thing. Great service, atmosphere, food and drinks. A PERFECT dinner!! Will have to go back and try their brunch - heard it's pretty amazing as well. :) read more

This place is good. I went here recently and I was pretty impressed. Ive actually been on the look for another good breakfast in the Napa area. If you do dine here just make sure you plan ahead for parking. We got lucky and got some street parking out front. If you do have trouble there should be a parking garage nearby if needed. I really enjoyed the food. The Chilaquiles were pretty flavorful and I enjoyed the Hollandaise sauce that was used for the Eggs Benedict. I also appreciated that both eggs were cooked perfectly. Egg Benny fans know its sometimes hard to try a new restaurant because of the fear of being let down. Part of making Eggs Benny is making sure the eggs are cooked right and I'm glad this was the case for my visit. I can't wait to try more food sometime soon! read more

Came here with some friends for brunch and it totally did not disappoint! We shared the iron skillet cornbread and the lavender honey butter was to die for. I got the eggs Benedict and I loved the English muffin and the potato cake. The English muffin was perfectly toasted with amazing buttery flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The potato cake was a flavor bomb and I definitely enjoyed the southwestern flavor with the peperonata. It was a busy morning, but we were quickly seated and the tables were socially distanced. The restaurant was also completely opened with great airflow even through we were sitting indoors. The service was amazing. Even though in downtown Napa, parking was very easy to find. Definitely worth checking out for a delicious brunch! read more

What a great brunch experience! They were so accommodating and attentive. I have an onion allergy so they whipped up a special batch of shrimp and grits for me. My margarita could have been stronger but it was still tasty! Hubs ordered the pancakes and we both thought they were good. The fruit was fresh, we really enjoyed the strawberries and pineapple. We make sure to visit Grace's Table whenever we visit Napa. Two years since the start of the pandemic and their menu and service is just as solid. Audrey was our hostess and we were so surprised she remembered us! It was a really special experience with great food, great wine and great service. We tried a few new items, but made sure to get the staples. Their homemade pickled vegetables are a "must have": The skillet cornbread with lavender butter being another. First time here and overall it was okay. Came here on a Sunday at noon. It wasn't too full and we got to sit outside. We waited 25 minutes to place our food order and others got helped first although they were seated after. We ordered the toasted baguette, shrimp and grits and the pulled pork and egg tacos along with two beers. Unfortunately, the food arrived before the baguette so we canceled that order. The shrimp and grits were pretty tasty. Wish there were a couple more shrimp in there. The tacos were also good, but since the meat is juicy it makes the tortilla soggy and just rips. We had a party of 2 at 11:00 am on a Friday. The hostess told us we could be seated right away, but was very straightforward by telling us the table would be outside in the sun. We brought sunscreen, so we didn't mind! Johanna was our waitress and she was very patient with us as we figured out what we wanted to eat. I also had a complicated order and she got it completely right!! Besides Johanna, a lot of other people took care of us, refilled our water, and cleared our plates. They were all wonderful! Here's what we got: - Grace's Table Cinnamon Roll ($4): The cinnamon roll was big, but it didn't taste that fresh and it wasn't warm. After seeing other people's pictures of the Iron Skillet Cornbread, I wish we had gotten that instead! The cinnamon roll was still tasty though. Cute little place right on the corner in Napa. We were given an option to sit at the bar or outside, as you can see they had several open tables inside the restaurant, we chose outside. You are literally right on the street, listening to all of the cars and commercial trucks go by. The food was ok. The sandwich was fresh on good artisan bread, it lacked a little flavor with the aioli. Served with veggie chips and homemade pickles. It was a unique plate. The Chilaquiles looked great, yet they were not to my liking. They were like mush, no crunch whatsoever. They had a good flavor. I did send it back as it was not desirable. Made a rez for my cousin and I on a Thursday evening, so it was easy breezy! This was my first time "dining out" at a restaurant in a longggg time and glad I chose Grace's Table to be where I went to first! The iron skillet cornbread is necessary - I am even considering stopping by here just to grab a couple of these, if nothing else haha. The lavender butter is light and fragrant. But the magic is in the cornbread. Warm, slightly crispy, cakey, and everything you'd ask for. The cassoulet was definitely a heavy dish. Full of flavor (read: salt), but great for sharing. I really enjoyed the beans in this meat casserole! I'm a sucker for cod on any menu and this place was no different! The flakey white fish was great and light. This definitely balanced our meal a bit. We also added a side of fries because... WHY NOT?! Michelin Bib Gourmet recognized, serving quality, globally-inspired comfort food. The space is in a nice location and the most interesting feature is roll-up walls that allow for "outside-in" style dining. We ordered for takeout to enjoy at the hotel. Very nice to see Chef Pando out and interacting with customers and staff. We had a discrepancy with the way or order was written down and he immediately stepped in to firmly correct the situation. Because of this our order took slightly long, about 30 minutes but the high-fidelity of the food made it totally worth the wait. Roasted Heirloom Chicken with squash and watercress. All cooked to perfection, the kids would not stop eating the chicken. Shocked at how beautiful the quash and watercress paired with the chicken. Super good and would repeat again. Cornbread, pie-slice shaped. Cooked on cast-iron so wonderful char on bottom. This was unlike any cornbread we ever had, more evolved than cornbread exemplified. Pieces of corn inside, noticeably moist and savory. A must order. Cassoulet, traditional french dish with white beans as the base. Noticeable and distinct pieces of duck, pork shoulder, and sausage. Loved finding all the meat surprises all of which tasted really good. This is our first time we had this dish and we would try other menu items than repeat this. read more

It was a busy Saturday morning but we waited no longer than 5 mins for a table, service was really fast and everyone was friendly.
