We went here for lunch on a Saturday around 11:55am and there was no wait! When we arrived, we were given the option on if we wanted indoor or outdoor dining and I thought that was cool. We chose the indoor dining option since it was windy that day. Once we got seated, they quickly gave us the menu and we ordered. We ordered the Kobe Flat Iron Steak & Eggs, the Grace's Grilled Chicken Club, and the Iron Skillet Cornbread. It took awhile (about 20 minutes) for our water to arrive after we told them our order it eventually did without us asking. Anyways, when we got our food, everything tasted good. I didn't think the Iron Steak dish would be that filling when I saw how empty the plate was, but it was actually very filling! My favorite part of that Iron Steak dish was the potato cake because of how crispy and soft it was. The Grace's Grilled Chicken Club was also good and I liked how it was toasted, but it was a bit messy when eating it. I did like how the Chicken Club plate came with a side of "root vegetable chips" since that was fun being able to try a variety of chip flavors and the sandwich was savory, yet refreshing at the same time. We also got the Iron Skillet Cornbread, which is something that this restaurant is known for. The cornbread tasted good, but it didn't really feel like much of a cornbread to me since it felt like it was more like a quiche. I'd recommend this place! All the food we tried that day was good and even the customers who were seated near us thought my Iron Steak dish looked really good, so they ordered it after seeing mine! It's amazing how nice Audrey, who greeted me at the door was and she remembered my reservation. First impressions make a world of difference and she made a great impression. And is it turned out everyone that worked in there was extremely friendly, smiling and helpful and made him impressive recommendations. I could tell right away, while reservations are important at this place. I noticed that the restaurant, though it's small, still had quite a bit of seating on the inside, and it was very comfortable and not overly decorated, which made it very pleasant to enjoy the atmosphere. Also, there was a lot of seating at the window which I really liked be able to look out and see the world pass by . MiShell was our charming hostess, and she made sure to return to the table to make sure all our needs were taken care of. We were even greeted by Apolinar a very happy bartender , Immediately, my wife was set up with a hot fresh perked cup of coffee and I had the Brother Thelonious Belgian dark ale. I was in seventh heaven, as this is my favorite beer in the world and they had it there on draft. Truth be told I had three during the whole time I was there and they come and tall Pilsner glasses. We ordered from the menu, and with their suggestions and the food that arrived we couldn't be happier . We started with iron skillet, cornbread with lavender honey butter. That was followed with the organic greens which are a salad composed of Astor egg radishes, arugula, pomegranate seeds, shaved fennel, blue cheese, toasted nuts, sliced pear, and fine herb vinaigrette. Wow. Our entrées arrived, and my wife had the special which was Osso Buco, and I had the cassoulet. They were both superb and perfectly made with beautiful presentation. In the Cassoulet it had pork shoulder, Boudin blanc sausage, garlic, sausage, butter, beans, and garlic, breadcrumbs baked it had a nice toasty top layer. it seems I have looked for the longest time to find one place that serves each of these items and here I found a place that serves all of these items. I am so happy about this and the flavors the production the appeal were all perfect. We finished off this incredible meal with the dessert that's called old-fashioned devils food cake. The twist was that the frosting was not frosting. It was actually like a fudge. Yes Chantilly cream and a light sprinkling of Maldon salt on the top.. I'm not a huge cake fan, but I would go back for this just to have that cake alone. It was that good. They knew I was having a special occasion with my wife and they brought it out with a little candle on it, and it was so cute and my wife fell in love with me all over again that whole evening there was perfect. I'm excited of the thought of going back to Napa and trying something different on the menu though what I had was so good it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have it again I still need to explore their menu and try other new and exciting things . It was mentioned to me a few things that the authenticity of these foods that we ate tonight were because the chef strive to bring that European flavor to the American table so you can taste what it should taste like when you're traveling. Most items served here are also locally sourced, which is a beautiful thing support local They got five stars from me because it was a five star branch from the minute. The venue was jammin' yet being a bar sitting couple eliminated a wait. The afternoon brunch options of quiche, eggs (poached), sides of an English muffin, toasted baguette w what seemed to be handmade jams were the bomb, along w the overly fresh fruit plate. Didn't make a reservation but was able to get bar seating at busy brunch time (11:30am on a Saturday). However service was awful. The didn't talk our order for over 20 mins, then food took an extra 20+ mins to get there. Burger and fries were decent. Also got tofu scramble which they completely did not season besides the cumin, had to get my own salt pepper and hot sauce to get flavor. We ordered Quiche, eggs Benedict, chilaquiles and flat iron steak. The flavor is generally on the bland side and the portions are small for the price. The place looks nice and modern from outside but when you enter, the floor is slippery and dirty, and attracted a lot of flies. We are constantly distracted by the flies flying towards the food and around us. The water and ice tasted off as well. Service was minimal, even when the place is not full, they took a while to notice the table was finished to bring checks. It's a good concept but poorly executed. read more

Sometimes you eat at a place and the stars align and this experience is not often, but visit Grace's Table and chances are, the stars will probably align. This was definitely my experience on my Easter Sunday 2023 visit. As a party of 4, we visited and were greeted and seated promptly. Water was brought out and our server (Machael) was very attentive. We started with the Iron Skillet Cornbread. This was delicious. It's not the gritty kind of cornbread, it was smoother, but you could still get chunks of corn kernel. The lavender honey butter transforms the cornbread into a different experience--entirely. It almost felt like two dishes coming together on one plate. Must try. My mother in law ordered the Quiche, my wife ordered the Chilaquiles, and I ordered the Kobe Flat Iron Steak & Eggs. All of our dishes were done rather well, but I would say that the Chilaquiles really stood out. Vibrant flavors with varying textures made the Chilaquiles stand out above the others, just slightly. The Quiche was delicious, light and fluffy mixed lightly and well with the seasonal greens. It wasn't overly seasoned, which allowed the ingredients to really shine. The Kobe Flat Iron Steak & Eggs was good, the peperonata potato cake was very tasty. Grace's Table allowed us to pick seats and we sat next to the large window door and the weather was lovely and it was just a nice environment to enjoy brunch. I did order a cappuccino, which was not bad but wasn't amazing. We would definitely visit Grace's Table again, great service, great food, great atmosphere, great experience. read more

10:30am on a Monday and it's packed and noisy. I was alone so I sat at the bar. I felt weird taking up a table. The guy who prepares all the drinks for the restaurant is also my waiter. Based on Yelp reviews, I order the shrimp and grits. I try to order a decaf vanilla latte, but they're out of syrup, so I settle for a decaf caramel latte. The food is good, not great. I couldn't eat the hard greens sprinkled on top. The eggs were a bit over cooked, but it tasted good. The latte was about 1/3 foam, weird. And it was bitter and there wasn't any caramel. I decided to settle and asked for a regular decaf coffee. It also was bitter and terrible. There wasn't enough sugar or milk to make it drinkable. I asked for the coffee to be removed from my bill because I couldn't drink it and the bartender/waiter decided to defend the coffee and gaslight me. Why? Why? He finally took it off the bill. My wife and I just returned from a fabulous meal and Grace's table in Napa. We had some new items on the menu, which I've not had before. One was a fabulously delicious fresh strawberry-arugula salad with sliced almonds and some little shredded fennel. Everything we had was so wonderfully full of freshness and liveliness. Was up in Napa for the weekend, and wanted a to check out a nice brunch spot. After some Yelp searching we decided to check out Grace's Table based on their menu selection and food pictures. I was very surprised to be able to get a table during lunch time and not needing to wait. I like the location, it's in downtown, but not in a high foot traffic area. Their plating is excellent. All the food look and smell lovely. I mean look at the pics I posted LOL. I ordered cornbread and the Kobe hanger. The cornbread was decent, you definitely taste the corn, so I know it's very authentic in its ingredients. I commented before on another place, but I'm the type that really likes to have the sweetness or honey already baked into the cornbread. The cornbread here has good texture but really needs that lavender honey spread to compliment it. The Kobe hanger was very very pretty. The presentation is very Instagram-able. I loved the fries, it seasoned perfectly, and fried very well. However, I wished the hanger had more flavor to it. It tasted bland and under seasoned. It was good perfectly and had good texture, but I just couldn't taste and flavor to it unfortunately. The sauce under the steak was very light, I wished there was a more hefty amount of it so I coulda been able to drench all my meat in the sauce. Overall I liked the place. There's lots of natural light coming in that'll help in taking snapshots of their picture perfect food. The presentation is just soooo good! We came here to celebrate a birthday in our party and was on a search for a Napa restaurant that offered both non-vegan and vegan options (which I discovered proved challenging to find options for the latter). For our meat eaters in the party, the Kobe Steak was cooked to their perfect liking and the Special Lobster and Chanterelle Scramble was decadent. I was grateful for least one satiating vegan option (though more can't hurt) in the Tofu Scramble, which was decent in texture and toppings though under seasoned. The waitress offered us bar, table or outdoor & we said bar which gave us no wait time because, again, that placed was packed. I also ordered a side pancake (just one) It was filling & fairly priced. The portions we perfect. Everything was delicious! Seasoned to perfection & just so yummy! The pancake was dry & I didn't care for their syrup so I don't recommend that. Lots of different drinks options (alcoholic & non alcoholic) but we stuck with water & orange juice (fresh squeezed & so so good). The service here was disappointing. We had a party of 5 but all their bigger tables were taken. We asked if we could combine 2 small tables (4 people + 2 people table) but they refused so we had to sit in a 4 people table crammed. They also gave us dirty spoons and when we asked for new ones, they didn't say anything and just took them away. They came back maybe 10 min later with new spoons. As for the food, it tasted alright but not the best. The chicken club I got was too soggy from the focaccia bread and the "grilled onions" were still crunchy but fully dark probably from the grill or burning them. The root chips it came with tasted store bought bag of root chips. The soup of the day was an onion soup. The flavor was ok, didn't taste like they used the right seasonings. read more

Stopped in here for brunch with my family while on vacation in Napa and it was delicious. We shared a few different things and everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. My favorites were the cornbread with lavender butter and the pumpkin pancakes. The cornbread wasn't too heavy and the butter was delicious. The pancakes were also the perfect balance without being too heavy on pumpkin or too subtle. We also ordered the lox bagel platter, eggs, the cinnamon roll and fruit and it was all great. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice, it's very open in the restaurant. The music was an interesting choice (a lot of top pop songs and a bit loud for a morning brunch), we didn't mind it, but I'm not sure about others. We ordered the Argentinean Empanada with hand cut beef and I swear there was a little nutmeg or cinnamon in it along with a pinch of cumin with a little heat. Lovely baguette with a great chef's butter. The CEO moment was the Cassoulet (classique - recette de Castelnaudary) with duck confit, pork Shoulder, boudin blanc sausage, garlic sausage, butter beans, garlic bread crumbs. This killed! Fire! So interesting in that the above ingredients has a little spice blend on top that was perhaps put on top with the garlic bread crumbs and then put under a broiler check the sear on the top of each. Michelin Bib Gourmet recognized restaurant in downtown napa. A mixture of traditional food with a twist I would say for someone looking for something to eat while post wine tasting. I made a reservation for 3 through OpenTable for a Thursday evening about a week or two in advance. Located at a corner of the street, in the evening parking is a little bit easier than during the day or early afternoon. If you find a spot, then you should take it. There are some parking structures around but they're a little bit further. Anyways I've been eyeing this place for a while and for dinner it looks like the cornbread, beet salad, cassoulet, and steak and frites are a must. So that's what we did. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Their bar is not a full bar but their drinks were specially sake based. I loved my mango margarita with the spicy salt on the rim. My friend got a lemon drop and another friend got a soda or iced tea. We started off with the Cornbread that came with honey lavender butter and it was such a good combination, we devoured it. And we also still ate more of the bread. We couldn't decide which salads to get so we got both organic greens and the beet salad. I think if you're not a beet fan then you probably wouldn't enjoy it, it was a little bit on the sweeter side but not your common salad. Both greens were really good and glad we got it to give us some vegetables for our heavy main dishes. We shared the steak & frites (steak and French fries) and the cassoulet (which was like a pork stew). The steak and frites were pretty good, your typical steak and French fries. They were more on the salty side, the steak was good and we got it medium rare. The cassoulet was interesting, it was heavy and more on the salty side with different types of meats-- pork, duck, beans, etc. It was good but something more to share and not for one person. We felt like we needed to eat it with some bread or drink water in between. Still worth a try and share. We finished off with a cheesecake and that was pretty good too.
