I enjoyed my time at GBN! The food, the drinks, and the music were good. This is a nice spot to come to celebrate a special occasion or bring out-of-town visitors who like live music. It was a packed house, and we still received attentive service.

Went here for Sunday brunch with friends and loved the atmosphere. The large windows let in so much open light, the blues and oldies live music hit just right, and the food was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves. This time the server (pretty sure it was the same one) split our bill 3 ways but said it had to be evenly. I'm not sure if this is due to not wanting to split them himself or actual policy not posted anyone, but very much so a nuisance to customers .

What a night! It was maitre'd Tyler's birthday, and Angelena and the Unit put on a SHOW. WOW that girl can saang! Tyler arranged for us to stay into the second set cause we didn't want to leave. Amazing vibe and energy in this place. Awesome fried chicken dinner. Spectacular ribs appetizer. And a night full of soul, '70s, '90s R&B, and more. Privileged just to take it all in.

Came in for dinner after cocktail carnival. We had nearly the place to ourselves so it must get busy later. We got pizzas and sobered up. It was a good time!

Loved the vibes of this place! Really nice staff who were very helpful. The the drinks were also really good but since its Seaport cocktails are around $20 so something to keep in mind! I had the jam session and it tasted like candy. Had to hold myself back from drinking it all in one go! Can't speak for the food since I only went for a drink. One thing to note is their restroom is outside of the restaurant and shared a restroom with Alamo. Other than that I had a great time and looking forward to going again.

Finally got to experience Grace by Nia via an impromptu visit and it was quite the evening. As soon as you enter this bar the decor in is filled with gold palm trees and chandeliers giving it a Vegas feel. This place is very intimate and definitely fitting for date night. The performer of the evening was really good singing songs like 'loyalty' by Kendrick Lamar but still keeping it jazzy and moody. The crowd was also very interactive forming a dance train throughout the main floor and grabbing people as they went. It was all around fun! Unfortunately, the kitchen closed by the time we got there so I wasn't able to try any of their dishes however I ordered a French 75 which was made well. I will definitely be coming back in the future for a proper evening.

I've been to Grace by Nia several times now and think that it has already established itself as a signature establishment in Seaport. From the thoughtfully designed dining room area to the live music performances, it stands out compared to plenty of places nearby. On my most recent visit, we came for Sunday brunch. We had a great table near the front, with a perfect view to the live entertainment. There was a band featuring a soulful singer named Antoinette, who was from Texas and brought some southern soul! We decided to have a carbfest, starting with the biscuits. They have FANTASTIC chicken & apple sausage in a spicy peach sauce! Get. The. Chicken.&. Apple. Sausage! Easily one of the best dishes I've had anywhere recently. The red velvet pancakes were cool but weren't huge on the red velvet taste. They also have nice cocktails with some inventive ingredients. I appreciate that Grace by Nia is the type of venue where people of all ages can have a good time. Unlike some other venues that rush you out after you've been seated for a certain time, we are always able to enjoy ourselves here. I hope Grace by Nia enjoys many years in Seaport and beyond!

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever seen. It was like stepping into another world. The cocktails, ribs and mac and cheese were exquisite! The menu tends toward More heavy items, but the beet salad is really good especially if you add the grilled shrimp. We enjoyed the jazz trio.

Bravo Bravo! Grace By Nia, is everything and more. From the ambiance to the live music to the libations, Grace By Nia is a must visit in Boston! While visiting on a recent work trip, I was referred here by friends in the area for an evening of relaxation. It's safe to say Grace By Nia didn't disappoint. Although I didn't eat, I did indulge in a few adult beverages. They're take on an old fashioned, a d'usse inspired cocktail was a nice way to end a long evening. Outside of the drinks the ambiance itself was top tier. Low lighting, live music, gives off a speakeasy with the extra flare. Located in the Seaport area, Grace By Nia is differently a must if you're a lover of live music and good vibes.

I conversed with my friend about what he'd rate the experience, and he was leaning towards a 4. I'm leaning towards a 3. My birthday dinner was planned for a Saturday night for an onstage table. There was 4 of us total. I felt like the table was fairly small for us all, considering drinks and food. My younger sister who is not of age had majority ice for her drink. Our server looked tired. I felt like our energy was higher than hers which made me feel like an inconvenience to her any time she came by. Food didn't seem up to par for the prices and hype that it set itself at in my opinion. I ordered the jambalaya, and I feel like I've made better jambalaya. My mom felt like her pasta was okay. Drinks were good, but I feel like the quantity was small and maybe little liquor to it. My friend enjoyed his peace ribs better than his main. Although he had a 2 piece and brisket for his main, chicken was very crunchy, it was good, he loved the pickles. So all of us had a lot to be desired for the price. The ambiance was beautiful though. The lighting & decor was beautiful. The restroom however is outside of the restaurant, shared with movie goers. That night, we had Dreion as our entertainment, and I felt like the crowd didn't appreciate him as much as he could've been! Great singer & great energy! I feel like there's a lot of potential to Grace by Nia. Another downer was my friend and mom brought a cake for me for my bday dinner. Apparently it's a $12.50 cake cutting fee (PER SLICE! Yes! 12.50 per slice!!). And their desserts go for $15 or so. So it seemed counterintuitive to bring a cake and have it cut for us. Then my friend who paid half the tab got double charged. So that was our experience. I'd hope for better, but I don't feel the urge to visit again. Over priced & overhyped in my opinion.

I'm thinking about going tonight while in town . Is there a place to sit at a bar and enjoy solo?

Yes, they have bar seating. There were some small tables too. They also had nice big booths for big groups that could seat 8 comfortably or 10 in a nice tight squeeze

It was a Sunday night and we didn't feel like going far for a meal. That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.

We got the Thai chicken meatballs which were seasoned well and had the perfect amount of spice for the coconut green curry sauce. But the food is just ok. The 3 of us ordered 2 pastas (one entree size, one app size), and 4 or 5 apps and nothing was impressive. The pappardelle w bolognese was the highlight for me. The lemon ricotta ravioli was borderline cold by the time I cut into it which was really odd. The mozzarella was forgettable, but the pork belly was solid. The scallops that were on special were the itty bitty kind and just ok - mostly overwhelmed by whatever breading they were covered in. The best part was probably the deserts - I had the creamy Nutella something or other - and was really upset when I got to the airport in the morning and realized I left it in the hotel fridge /sad face.
